Vacation rentals with beach access in Modica

The place looked even better than the photos. It was spacious and spotless. Laura and Silvio were quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had. Very walkable area. Silvio met us at check in and gave very clear instructions to find nearby parking (covered lot with hourly rate; €15/24° max). Would stay there again. Thanks Laura and Silvio!

My wife and I traveled to Ortigia with our daughter for her 25th birthday. This home checked all the boxes when we booked it. Location on the water, nice modern home, walking distance to everything we wanted to see. But, when we got there, it was so much more amazing than we could have imagined. The home is beautiful - on the water with a stunning rooftop deck and amazing sunsets. Its situated right in the heart of Ortigia next to Fountain Arethusa. Walk out the front door onto the cobble streets to restaurants, coffee bars, shops. Turn right and walk a few minutes to Castello Maniace. Turn left and walk a few minutes to the Piazza Duomo. Yolande was an amazing host. Communication was great. Answered all my questions and helped find us a driver for the week which turned out to be one of the best decisions we made. Our driver, Beppe, was born in Ortigia and taught us more about Sicily during our car rides than any guide we could have round. Grazie Yolande!

Enza was very nice! She is a very welcoming and friendly person. She is very responsive at every stage of the process. I greatly recommend. The place is very cosy, a haven of peace, just two to five walking minutes to the main interesting spots of the city!

We had the most beautiful time at this beach house and hope to come again one day! You can hear the sound of the ocean all the time, the interior is cosy and everything you need in the kitchen is there. The communication with Francesco was perfect. It‘s a gem.

We had an enjoyable stay in this roomy apartment. Communication with Emily was immediate, directions were clear and easy to follow, list of places to shop and eat was useful. Was given recommendation and contact for garage to park car, 20 euro per night.

If we ever find ourselves in Ortigia again (and I certainly hope we do) I know where we’re staying! Alessandra was a great host and her space is perfect for a couple.

This place was better than what we had asked for. Very spacious, extremely clean, walkable to all the amazing restaurants and farmers market. Francesco responded right away to any questions we had about the area. I can't wait to come back and stay in this location and beautifully clean home.

The apartment is just as described , we had a couple of problems Stefania and her husband took care of it very quickly to solve it , there is a place to park it is not a minor fact in Italy , the area is super quiet , for my taste a little far from the attractions

Good location within walking distance to sites, shops and restaurants! Clean and modern. Nice view of marina from upstairs bedroom!! Marcello provided a great list of places to go to and see! Convenient parking nearby if you need it. When the construction out front ends, the walkway will be a welcome edition. Euros requested for the tourist tax so remember to have exact change.

Claudio and his lovely dog Mario welcomed us. The next morning, we received organic home-grown tomatoes and lemons. Always friendly and helpful. Both Claudio and little Mario have a warm, humorous and calm appearance. His garden is beautiful and well kept and our area was nicely shielded. Not far from the house there is a beach where you can rent sunbeds and a beach restaurant that serves food and drinks. There were just the right number of people there and most of them were Italians. Recommended!😎

We loved our stay in the old city. Even with two little children. Although situated in the hart of Ortigia it was quite. The apartment is perfect. In the morning get your breakfast at Viola, end of the day go to the little beach close to the house. Beautiful place and contact with the owner of the house was just perfect, answers in minutest en was really helpful.

Very nice spacious apartment with good amenities. Only 2 minutes from the sea and a very nice beach. We had a lovely time!

I highly recommend Carmelo's place. It is in an excellent location, has a comfortable space, and is steps from the water. The area is quieter at the end of the street, yet still close to everything. I would stay there again.

What a fantastic bnb in a great location Super sunny & bright. Spacious. Lovely view over the beach & water. Very comfortable. Solid A/C. & 1k to one of the best restaurants ever, Manna! Don’t miss this amazing dinner spot! Good deli & fruit stand near the other end of pier. Livia very helpful & responsive host. I’d come here again for sure!

we had a nice stay. the view of Zeeland the front and the garden at the back are lovely, the house is spacious and is right next door to nice bars and restaurants. the place was calm but cozy without too much overtourism (we were there in spring) I would definitely recommend it!

Beautiful Beautiful, modern house on a gorgeous beach. Walk out the back patio directly onto the beach, and take a leisurely walk to Donnalucata, a pretty seaside town with a fish market and plenty of restaurants and stores. Definitely check out Blue Moon gelateria! Our hosts Eliana and Oriana were absolutely great, very responsive; minor issues (wifi not working, hot water problem) were fixed very quickly. Oriana gave us directions to a local medical clinic when one of our party took ill. The location is perfect for exploring southern Sicily; Scicli, Ragusa, Modica, Noto, etc. are all within short driving distance. This is a great place to relax and explore the area. You will enjoy the modern amenities, sleep well in the confortable beds, and wake up in the morning to see horses walking on the beach and the fishing boats at works just off the shore. Definitely a place I would go back to. One note of caution; the last 100 meters or so of the road to the house is a narrow dirt road .

Fantastic 3 weeks at Francesco`s beautiful apartment - superbly located on Isola Ortigia, an absoultely spectacular place. Lively even during winter and a number of sights (Neapolis is a must!). Went to the food market for fish and greens and made dinner at home every other day or so. Otherwise a number of very good restaurants within a 500m radius. Breakfast and lunches on the spectacular terrase, short/t-shirt at least half the days (when in the sun) even during winter. Francesco was very helpful when we needed some minor assistance with heating and dishwasher. The heating system was the best I have every come across in Italy - water heated radiators, not only the usual A/C. All in ll - spotless!

We were very happy with the place. Great location, the ceilings were high and the rooms spacious. The fact that the bathroom is quite small did not bother us. At weekends it was sometimes quite noisy. Since it is a corner house, there is quite a lot of noise from the outside. Otherwise, we were able to sleep very well. We were provided with a crib & baby chair and contact with Aurora was also reliable and fast. We have left a parasol at the property and hope it can be used by other guests as well.

We had an absolutely perfect stay at Robin's place. From the first exchanges, his communication was fluid, responsive and caring, which gave us confidence. The accommodation, meanwhile, was impeccable, comfortable and located in a peaceful neighborhood, ideal for relaxing. Every detail seemed to be designed to ensure our well-being. Robin was an exemplary host, always available to answer any questions we may have and provide us with valuable local recommendations. Amazing air BnB - awesome roof terrace!

We are delighted with these three days spent in Syracuse at Fabio's. The accommodation is extremely well located right next to Ortigia. We easily found a place to park. The accommodation is well equipped and very quiet. Fabio is always available to answer any questions we may have. I recommend it.

The apartment is very spacious, with three bedrooms, a cozy living room and a fully equipped kitchen. The absolute highlight is the spacious outdoor terrace with another kitchen, grill, outdoor shower and even a separate toilet. In addition, there is a second terrace at the entrance area, perfect for enjoying the sunset – which was particularly pleasant this time of year as it was not too hot. The apartment is very clean and equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Stefania welcomed us very warmly, was always available and always friendly and helpful. We felt completely comfortable and welcome with her. We have made many excursions and love to take long walks by the sea – we can especially recommend Donnalucata. The cities of Syracuse, Modica and Ragusa Ibla also impressed us with their beauty and atmosphere. We thank Stefania from the bottom of our hearts♥️!

We had a wonderful visit and thoroughly enjoyed the unit and location near the action. Great restaurants and wonderful people wherever we went. The only issue was zeroing on exactly where the unit is located but once you’re there, Caroline and Lorenzo were extremely helpful with directions and explanations. Definitely a great place to stay in Siracusa/Ortgia.

Perfect Spot Close to the Beach and Town We had a lovely stay in Marina di Ragusa! The location is ideal — just a few steps from the beach, and everything you need is within walking distance: restaurants, the marina, shops, and the town center. The apartment is well-equipped and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay with our little one. It’s compact but very practical and cozy. Just a heads-up: the apartment is located right by the main promenade, so the area can be lively, especially in the evenings. If you enjoy being in the heart of the action, it’s perfect! We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely recommend it for a fun and convenient beach holiday.
