Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Modica

We enjoyed staying at this tiny stone cottage a lot. Our highlight: enjoying the evening and sunset on the terrace. The kitchen has everything you need to cook, but also beautiful Scicli is just 10 minutes away with lots of great restaurants. Felicity was also a great host, and always available for us in case of any question.

We spent one week in this very nice house in the center of Noto. The house is in one word „ fantastic“, with its very nice kitchen and living room and the great terrace, all 2 min next to the cathedral. We can highly recommend this location for holidays.

Francesca and her Arbnb are a top choice for Ibla Ragusa. Her place is ideally located in the heart of Ibla, near all the key sights and great restaurants. And, it additionally offers pure calm and relaxation by being located on a quiet car-free narrow street off the major street. Very clean, and complete with everything mentioned. The host, Francesa, is the best. Always communicative, pleasant and helpful. In my case, she additionally saved the next leg of my trip. I had scheduled an early departure train, not realizing that public transport was not running and that taxi services were not responding to her or my calls. She graciously offered her husband to drive me to the train station at 6:45 in the morning!! Thank you so much, Francesca. Highly recommend.

The apt. had everything you needed for a comfortable and perfect stay. The amenities were very thoughtful that Emanuele&Ivana provide for their guests such as slippers, cookies and a nice bottle of wine when checking in. The apt. Is beautifully decorated modern and elegant. Very comfortable bed , nice balcony and centrally located to restaurants and walkable for sightseeing and shops. Would highly recommend staying here .

The villa was absolutely beautiful and very well equipped. We particularly enjoyed the choice of outdoor areas and the pool. Sabrina was an extremely lovely and responsive host who made sure our stay was smooth. Arriving in Catania at 8am, we were able to do an early check-in which was much appreciated. Our children also appreciated the cats who came to say hi, it reminded us of ours :) We would definitely recommend Sabrina’s place.

Sebastiano s place is very thoughtfully equipped with everything a tourist can possibly want: parasol, snorkelling gear, cooking equipment - and a bottle of Sizilian wine waiting for us a arrival! Thank you! Location is super central, but also very quiet, since it is located in a pedestrian zone. Lovely view from slim balcony, but don t be too broad shouldered :). We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely use Sebastiano s place again.

We love the place! It has a lot of character and super spacious. Clean. Check in/out super easy. They left us a super comfortable and lovely crib for our daughter and a big elephant dodo that my girl loved. High chairs as well. The only thing which could have been a bit uncomfortable was that the curtains don’t cover fully the light of the morning and that with small kids meant we were all awake at 6:30 am 🤪. And may be there’s a bit of humidity smell on one of the rooms but nothing too serious.

We had a beautiful stay here! What a location, and the home was spotless and in a gorgeous location. We wish we could have stayed longer, and we can’t wait to come back!

We had a wonderful stay at Massimo & Danila’s house, which is an architectural gem filled with beautiful details and personal touches. Even in the winter time it was very warm and the fireplace added to the feeling of comfort. We loved the peace and quiet that the house radiates, as well as the surrounding sand dunes and beautiful beaches. Thank you for making our stay so magical & we hope to return.

The property was very comfortable, nicely furnished and felt very welcoming and homely. It is extremely well located near the centre of Ortigia and yet is both private and quiet. Everything (shops/restaurants) is within a short walking distance. Gisella provided lots of support and useful suggestions for our visit and Gianluca was there to greet us locally. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would be very happy to return.

We were guests at Daniela's for the second time. The apartment is large has shabby charm, nothing is new, but it is somehow romantic. The location is perfect and we love the large roof terrace. It is totally quiet and you can hear and see the sea and you are still in the middle of the old town.

One of the best places we have been.. The villa is super cozy and you feel right at home! Also, Federico is a great host, he was always responsive and helpful, and gave us useful recommendations on the dining and things to do in the area. Thank you for the amazing experience!

Giuseppe welcomed us impeccably, showing us the amenities of the apartment and giving us advice for our stay. The apartment was clean, comfortable as shown in the photo. The central area is full of shops and activities for every need. I hope to return to Modica soon.

I stayed for 7 days. A truly unique place with every detail. You have a lot of space to enjoy the after sea and you can also enjoy the pool that is cleaned every day. The garden speaks for itself... and the house has all the necessary amenities and accessories. Great for families! Nearby sea! Also a great location because if in the middle of all the cities to visit such as Modica-Noto-Siracusa, etc. Sofia and her husband are people to take as an example, elegant, fit and cheerful. Ask them for tips for anything, especially for restaurants, rotisseries, ice cream parlors, and places to visit. I can't wait to come back as I love the place and Sicily!

Exactly as described. Easy walk to more restaurants and sites than one could do in a year. Ortigia is unreal ! We stayed 6 nights and wished we booked it for longer.

Authentic Sicilian stay, close to beach, close to several towns.

This is one of the best places we have stayed, with the most beautiful villa set in lovely gardens full of ancient olive trees. The pool and its pavilion and bar were just perfect. Not too far from Modica and Noto, plus excellent beaches at San Lorenzo. Roberto and family were very helpful and responsive. Would definitely recommend getting Angelica to cook one evening- just the best meal of the trip. Trying to find the place in the dark is not recommended though. The Google map reference given is not quite accurate and there is nothing to indicate you are supposed to drive through next door’s farmyard. But, like getting into heaven, it’s worth it!

We had a fantastic stay at Villa Pomelia! The house is beautifully designed, very well maintained, and equipped with everything you might need. Its location is excellent – right by the sea and very close to Syracuse, making it a perfect base for exploring the area. The villa is comfortable, spacious, and clearly cared for with love and attention to detail. This stay brought us a lot of joy and much-needed relaxation. We wholeheartedly recommend it and would love to come back! Sabrina is very responsive and helpful. All the instructions were perfectly clear.

One of the nicest locations i have stayed in. The sea access, terrace and views could not be improved they are stunning. Siracusa itself also stunning. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

A beautiful, spacious house with a lovely garden, veranda, and barbecue area! The rooms were large and spotlessly clean. The hosts were incredibly kind and helpful. The surrounding nature is stunning and peaceful — just a 10-minute drive from Ragusa and 15 minutes from the nearest beach. Wow, what a stay we had at Ivan's place. Situated in a quiet spot just outside of Noto, surrounded by wild flowers, herbs and lemon trees. The most beautiful, private, quiet spot, we felt instantly relaxed and at home. Ivan and Dino were absolutely fantastic, responsive and helpful, thank you so much for making our stay so special. The villa is situated in a great spot for exploring the south east of Sicily, every day we went out and about exploring towns, beaches and restaurants. The beaches were stunning, especially San Lorenzo nature reserve, we had the entire beach to ourselves! Thank you for a wonderful stay, we couldn't recommend more highly.

We had a fantastic week with six people and two small children. Great location right by the beach and everything was just as described. We would definitely come back — good communication and a lovely holiday.
