Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Minden Hills

We were so happy to stay at this cottage! The house was cozy and welcoming, and both our child and our dog had an amazing time. It was the perfect place for a fun and relaxing family getaway. We would love to come back again!

The rental place is clean and well organized. Nina is quick to respond. Will definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place in the area.

We had a lovely stay. The place was even nicer than we expected. This is the best air bnb we’ve ever had. It was really private and really clean, which was exactly what we were looking for. They provided so many little things which just added to the overall experience. Its the small things that go a long way. The place was really open concept and just really well furnished. The place was clean, cozy, and it was exactly like the photos. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to cook. The check-in and check-out and garbage disposal process was very clear and detailed, as the host provided an easy to follow instruction. We'll definitely come back!

Great place, comfortable, relaxed, with everything that you could need. On top of a great space, Pat was always very responsive and attentive. Will definitely be staying here again.

Loved our stay and John was a great host! Would absolutely return and I bet it would be a great stay for all seasons. Just make sure you bring towels - not just beach/bath towels but even dish towels for the kitchen and hand towels for the bathroom.

My best friend and I were looking for a place to go for a girls getaway. We both desperately needed to relax and unwind. Devon’s place was exactly what we hoped for. The hot tub and sauna were an added bonus. If you need peace, are looking to rest and relax or even go someplace close to amenities but that still feels secluded Devon’s little slice of heaven is exactly the spot you need. We will definitely be booking for a future girls trip for sure! 💗 5⭐️ place!

We had a wonderful stay! Cottage was clean upon arrival with easy access. There were lots of activities to keep busy both indoor and outdoors. Lots of space to enjoy within the cottage as well. We especially enjoyed the hot tub during a cooler day!

We had a really nice time at Marias place. It's calm, cozy and has a great location. We liked the restaurant nearby and the walks at the seaside. Marias recommandations for activties we're also very helpful, espacially guests with dogs are very welcome! The communication with Maria was very good and fast because she told us everthing in advance.

Derek and Doreen were extremely friendly, responsive, and hospitable, everything in the suite and in the backyard was as shown, if not better. They even gave us a gift as we had mentioned our wedding day was the day prior, couldn’t recommend them and this place enough, we would book again in a heart beat, thanks for everything Derek and Doreen!

We fell in love with this place the first time we visited four years ago. This time, we felt it was even better than we remembered. We had a wonderful and relaxing stay at Simona’s place! The property was beautiful with serene lake access, and the two decks made our evening hangouts especially comfortable and enjoyable. The house was well-equipped with all the amenities we needed for a stress-free and relaxing stay. Simona was incredibly kind and welcoming, and she went out of her way to make our visit comfortable, especially with our infant. Her thoughtfulness and hospitality truly made a difference. Wonderful hosts with outstanding HOT homemade breakfasts! Really appreciated the extra perks of magnifier make-up mirror, house coat, lush towels, several Keurig coffee pod choices and 2 choices for my own private exterior sitting area. Level access and close parking to entrance, extra wide interior doors. MaryAnn was spot on for my food choices even including 10% cream for my morning coffee and crisp bacon. Very large space with two large bedrooms, slept like a baby and the TV included all the streaming you would want Close to Art College and short drive into town of Haliburton. It was a bit chilly for June but Gerry turned on the propane fireplace then all was cozy. Book it - you won't be disappointed!

We had a wonderful two-night stay at this cozy cottage! The highlight was definitely the hot tub — perfect for relaxing after a day outdoors. The BBQ setup was great and made evening meals easy and enjoyable. The cottage was clean, well-equipped, and surrounded by beautiful nature views, making it a peaceful escape from the city. We especially loved sitting on the deck and taking in the quiet, scenic surroundings. Would definitely come back for another getaway!

We really enjoyed our time at Firefly. The cabin has a cozy, rustic charm — you can tell the original structure has some age and character, which adds to the experience. The view from inside beautifully frames the lake, and the dock’s positioning offers all-day sun and stunning sunsets. It was a peaceful and quiet stay, just what we were looking for. The host provided everything we needed, including kitchen essentials, BBQ tools, and fresh linens. The welcome binder was clear and helpful — especially the note about keeping showers short due to the smaller hot water tank. While the cabin is close to a larger dwelling, we still felt like we had our own space thanks to the private lawn and layout. We had a great stay and would love to return to see the fall colours.

We had our annual guys weekend and chose Wayne's place this year. It was exactly what we needed. The beds were comfy, the property is nice and flat with an easy entrance into the water. The one downside that has been previously mentioned, it is it right on a main road so you do hear the cars and trucks so not as peaceful as other places. Overall a great weekend and the value for the property is good. We will definitely book again.

I had an amazing experience with Michelle! She accommodated a few date changes due to other personal commitments without hesitation. She was very responsive and checked in with me to ensure we were doing well. My family and I really enjoyed the cozy cabin - absolutely perfect for our weekend getaway. The cabin was clean and had literally everything! We LOVE that it was pet friendly, my fur babies absolutely enjoyed it and loved the outdoors. Would definitely book again.

We stayed at cabin #1 during October 11-13 weekend. We loved this place. Very clean, cute cabin, worth the price. Amy was very quick to respond. There are kayaks, canoes to use, firepit, bbq grill. We had awesome experience. I am looking forward to book it again. I highly recommend this place for with kids trip. There is beautiful playground by the beach.

I highly recommend the Lake House in Dorset/Raven Shores. This cottage was perfectly situated and close to scenic attractions and many trails. The property was picturesque morning, noon, and night. The perfect spot with easy access to the lake. Their customer service and attention to detail is second to none, exceeding my expectations every time. The hosts were readily available and responded quickly. The cottage was warm and Cozy "just like home." It was equipped with everything a family would need and more. We would stay again.

Perfect place to relax and stay away from the city. Very cozy and clean, comfortable mattress and it has all you need to cook. The cottage is spacious surrounded by trees and extremely beautiful in the morning with the sun hitting the trees with the fall colours. Take a time to have a coffee in front of the river. Anthony and Michael answered all my questions really quickly. Furnace falls is minutes away and I highly recommend a visit there. I would love to stay there again.
