Eddastua is a lovely Nordland house from 1880

Eddastua is in history and charm. Edda Konstanse lived in the house with his sisters, who lived as a seamstress. Some years after Edda's death, Prostinne Valborg and her husband took over Prost Steffensen . When he died, Valborg moved to his children and the house was empty for almost 50 years, before Christensen took over in 2001. They've taken care of all the things that were there and turned the house into a gem with charm and tranquility. Idyllic Storvik is a small village at the end of Nordland coast in the middle of Saltstraumen and Svartisen. The surroundings are oceans, mountains, sandy beach and fishing waters. Here you can stay in the old grend school that we in our family have converted into a modern apartment. There are several marked hiking trails in the area. They range from very light, to more advanced trips for real "mountain goats". If you would rather relax on the beach and enjoy nature in the distance it is fully possible from the 1.5 km long sandy beach.

Sofa also possible for any 3rd person. Also movable guest bed. There are also available bedrooms in the other part of the building, but use of this must be specifically agreed upon.

Nice cabin (60 m2 + loft) for rent on a weekly basis. The cottage is located close to tourist information on Holand, and only 1 km from the crossing to Svartisen. Bedroom 1: double bed, Bedroom 2: two single beds Loft w/ 3 sleeping places. Bathroom w/ washing machine, shower, toilet. Open living room/kitchen w/ stove, fridge, dining table, sofa group, wireless internet and TV (Canal digital). Terrace with seating area, great view and barbecue. Short distance to great hiking opportunities in the area.

The boat to Svartisen are approximately 400 m away from the cabin, so this is a perfect place to start glacier hiking. If you like fishing there is fishing gear available.

As soon as we entered the entrance, we felt that it was a good house to be in - a good atmosphere, simply put. It was warm and good - and not least clean everywhere. Large bedrooms and good beds. Everything was as we wanted and even a little more. It was easy to communicate with the host. We would be happy to come back another time.

Beautiful large, well-equipped house right on a small wonderful sandy beach. Animals and play opportunities for the children in the garden. We had 2 great days and can recommend everyone to unwind here for a few days.

We were four adults and four children who spent a very nice weekend in this cozy house. The beautiful plot with lawn, outdoor dining area, desserts and trees was perfect for spending a lot of time outside. The house is very cozy and has a lot of soul. We also liked the short distance to Inndyr and other hiking destinations. Thanks for us! 😊

Cozy holiday home in nice surroundings. The house had what we needed for a good stay at Sandhornøya. Good beds, nice kitchen and bathroom, great view from living room and porch. Very easy and quick communication with host. The children really appreciated that the trampoline was set out, and on the outdoor area with forest playground and gaps. With a short distance to the sea, beach and mountains, the house of Remi-André is a good starting point for family holidays.

Nice and clean place. Anne Line was super responsive for the check-in, and she was kind enough to let me in earlier which was really appreciated as it was raining outside and I was with doing a bike tour. The surroundings are beautiful, and having a supermarket really close to the place is really helpful.

The apartment has everything we needed and is so clean. The massage chair is the top favourite. The GPS direction is accurate and should try to arrive before it gets dark. Check the ferry schedules as we missed the earlier ferry and had to take the 9.15pm ferry. Despite our late arrival, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

A living area is presented with a comfortable sofa opposite a television unit. Large glass doors open to a balcony with views of the water. A round coffee table is styled with a plant and a small candle holder, enhancing the room's modern design.

This was definitely a "home-away-from-home"-stay. Tove and Steinar picked us up on the road and showed us around and gave us really helpful advices concerning the apartment and the surroundings of Bodø. The apartment was fantastic, especially the winter garden is a place where you'd like to spend a lot of time as the views are breathtaking. Highly recommended!!

Anne-Carine was one of the most exceptional hosts we have ever had with Airbnb! We arrived late in the day and were tired from our long travel but she had baked us a loaf of homemade bread and jam preserves to welcome us. Anne-Carine's home is spacious and cozy with a spectacular view of the Bodo harbor. All of our needs were exceeded in Anne-Carine's home and easy walking access to the airport and shopping made our stay Wonderful! Tusen Takk Anne-Carine!
