Bo i nyoppusset grendeskole

Idylliske Storvik er en liten bygd ytterst på Nordlandskysten midt mellom Saltstraumen og Svartisen. Omgivelsene er hav, fjell, sandstrand og fiskevann. Her kan du bo i den gamle grendeskolen som vi i familien har omgjort til en moderne leilighet. Det er flere oppmerkede turstier i området. De varierer fra veldig lett, til mer avanserte turer for ekte «fjellgeiter». Om du heller vil slappe av på stranden og nyte naturen på avstand er det fullt mulig fra den 1,5 km lange sandstranden.

Eddastua er et nydelig Nordlandshus fra 1880

Eddastua har historie og sjarm. Edda Konstanse bodde i huset i lag med sine søstre, de livnærte seg som syerske. Noen år etter Eddas død overtok Prostinne Valborg og hennes mann Prost Steffensen . Da han døde flyttet Valborg til sine barn og huset sto tomt i nesten 50 år, før Christensen tok over i 2001. De har tatt vare på alle tingene som sto der og gjort huset om til en perle med sjarm og ro. Gildeskål byr på en rik natur, vi deler gjerne turtips fra vår vakre kommune. Velkommen

Exciting conditions for hiking, climbing, bouldering, kayaking, diving, seakiting, fishing and foraging. The cottage is situated in the south-west corner, 2 km easy walking from the harbour. Daily connection with the mainland by ferry or local boat to/from Ørnes and express boat to/from Bodø/Sandnessjøen. You may observe the amazing Northern Light from September.

Fin hytte (60 m2 + hems) til leie på ukebasis. Hytta ligger like ved turistinformasjon på Holand, og kun 1 km fra overfart til Svartisen. Soverom 1: dobbeltseng, Soverom 2: to enkeltsenger. Hems m/ 3 soveplasser. Bad m/ vaskemaskin, dusj, wc. Åpen stue/kjøkkenløsning m/ komfyr, kjøleskap, spisebord, sofagruppe, trådløst nett og TV (Canal digital). Terrasse med sittegruppe, flott utsikt og grill. Kort vei til flotte turmuligheter i området.

Welcome to Svartisen Northern light. The cabin is located by the seaside and has a private dock. You can also find a telescope inside the cabin, and during the winter this is the place to observe the Northern lights when the sky is clear. The boat to Svartisen are approximately 400 m away from the cabin, so this is a perfect place to start glacier hiking. If you like fishing there is fishing gear available.
