Idyllic Storvik is a small village on the far side of the Nordland coast in the middle between Saltstraumen and Svartisen. The surroundings are sea, mountains, sandy beach and fishing waters. Here you can stay in the old village school that we in the family have transformed into a modern apartment. There are several marked hiking trails in the area. They range from very easy, to more advanced trips for real "mountain goats". If you prefer to relax on the beach and enjoy nature from a distance, it is perfectly possible from the 1.5 km long sandy beach.

Cozy 3-room apartment on Sandhornøy. The apartment is located on Hustad right by the lake. 1.5 hours drive from Bodø city center. Two bedrooms, a bathroom with shower and toilet, an equipped kitchen and a living room. Possibility to use the campfire area at Naustet right outside, firewood can be purchased. House rules: No pets allowed, non-smoking, no parties allowed, parking allowed, air conditioning and wireless network. If you want to experience Gildeskål's beautiful nature, this is the place!
