Eddastua is a lovely Nordland house from 1880

Eddastua is in history and charm. Edda Konstanse lived in the house with his sisters, who lived as a seamstress. Some years after Edda's death, Prostinne Valborg and her husband took over Prost Steffensen . When he died, Valborg moved to his children and the house was empty for almost 50 years, before Christensen took over in 2001. They've taken care of all the things that were there and turned the house into a gem with charm and tranquility. Stay in newly remodeled Community School

Idyllic Storvik is a small village at the end of Nordland coast in the middle of Saltstraumen and Svartisen. The surroundings are oceans, mountains, sandy beach and fishing waters. Here you can stay in the old grend school that we in our family have converted into a modern apartment. There are several marked hiking trails in the area. They range from very light, to more advanced trips for real "mountain goats". If you would rather relax on the beach and enjoy nature in the distance it is fully possible from the 1.5 km long sandy beach.

At Stia you can stay in scenic and tranquil surroundings with views of the fjord and mountains. Guest apartment in great single-family home in quiet surroundings in the countryside, about three blocks by car from Bodø. Surrounded by forest, mountains and the sea. Close to sights such as Saltstraumen, Svartisen and Langsand on Sandhornøy. Good conditions for fishing all roads, ocean and water. Bedroom with large double bed. Sofa also possible for any 3rd person. Also movable guest bed. There are also available bedrooms in the other part of the building, but use of this must be specifically agreed upon.

A serene landscape is presented, featuring clear, shallow water flowing over smooth, large rocks. A small waterfall cascades into the pool, surrounded by rugged terrain and distant mountains visible under a clear blue sky.

Spacious cabin with amazing views!

Nice cabin (60 m2 + loft) for rent on a weekly basis. The cottage is located close to tourist information on Holand, and only 1 km from the crossing to Svartisen. Bedroom 1: double bed, Bedroom 2: two single beds Loft w/ 3 sleeping places. Bathroom w/ washing machine, shower, toilet. Open living room/kitchen w/ stove, fridge, dining table, sofa group, wireless internet and TV (Canal digital). Terrace with seating area, great view and barbecue. Short distance to great hiking opportunities in the area.

The cabin is about 1h and 15min away from Bodø Good cabin standard with running well water, hot water and shower. The toilet is indoors in the bathroom and bio toilet type. Private barbecue area where the fireplace can be enjoyed in both rain and sun. Wood is brought or can be purchased by the host for NOK 200 per 40l sack

Welcome to Svartisen Northern light. The cabin is located by the seaside and has a private dock. You can also find a telescope inside the cabin, and during the winter this is the place to observe the Northern lights when the sky is clear. The boat to Svartisen are approximately 400 m away from the cabin, so this is a perfect place to start glacier hiking. If you like fishing there is fishing gear available.

The apartment has everything we needed and is so clean. The massage chair is the top favourite. The GPS direction is accurate and should try to arrive before it gets dark. Check the ferry schedules as we missed the earlier ferry and had to take the 9.15pm ferry. Despite our late arrival, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Spectacular view looking over fjords and midnight sun. We loved the tranquility of the place. Perfect for watching the midnight sun not set and boats and ships go sailing by. Note: no linen is supplied but was offered as an added charge. A hairdryer would have been a welcome addition in the cold weather. Otherwise can’t fault it and would happily return for a longer stay.

A spacious wooden veranda overlooks a serene body of water, framed by lush greenery and distant hills. Outdoor furniture, including a barbecue grill, is present for guest use. The bright blue sky creates a peaceful backdrop, contributing to the tranquil setting of the retreat.

The place was exactly as described and although it is remote, easily accessible by Quad and boat. Håkon was very accommodating and clearly described everything important. The boat works perfectly and the area is ideal for hiking and fishing.

Margretes seahouse is next to the ocean in beautiful surroundings. We saw the midnightsun and even a flock of whales. The seahouse is perfect for a weekend to relax or to go for walks to the beach and the local area. The inside of the seahouse is modern and nicely decorated. The seahouse was clean and maintained really well. We really loved our stay in Margretes seahouse and recommend it for other guests.
