Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Mälaren

We were a group of 7 people and had a wonderful stay at Louise's cottage! Very cozy decor, fully equipped kitchen, nice surroundings with private jetty, can't help but recommend this place!!

Can only echo everything people have already. Great attentive host, really cool cabin, with everything you need on site and more. Anyone looking to get away from it all for a few days should look no further. I can promise, you won’t be disappointed.

Excellent spot and house for tours in natural Sweden. Also fairly close to larger cities. The house is well equipped with plenty of space, and large bedrooms. Ample space around the house. The reception was very nice with a cake and drinks. We made long gravel tours on our bikes starting from the house. Nature (cranes, deer, wild boar) can be found in close proximity of the house, we saw roe deer from the house. Recommendable.

Our high expectations were met and more. We were three generations from infants to retirees. Quality and taste. Quiet at the end of the road. Well equipped kitchen, didn't miss anything. Several nice living rooms. Space to also pull away. Easy and nice to communicate with Staffan before and during our stay. Everyone's our very best recommendations.

An incredibly beautiful house, with a large balcony and a nice lawn with sun hours. Very cozy and nice inside the houses, we rented both houses and were incredibly pleased. Fredrik is a great host who responds quickly and is helpful. Thanks for this time, we will be back :)

Had great time with family. The location is awesome. Lars kept his dream house well equipped with all required things for a traveler. Highly recommend.

We felt welcome and at home in Spersbodahusen, nice days with hot baths, excursions, reading and game nights. Dark and rough in December but cozy with crackling fire in the evenings. The water in the tap is checked and quite ok but does not taste like in town, so a tip is to bring bottled water to drink if you are a little picky. Hans was very helpful, questions were answered quickly and kindly with great tips. We went to atmospheric Wira Bruk and had homemade food. We would be glad to come back!

Frida was fantastic both before and throughout our stay. Responded quickly and was always flexible with our requests. The house was beautifully located and had everything you wanted for a girls' weekend. Would love to come back here another time.

We really enjoyed our stay at the tinyhouse and can recommend it to any other traveller. The train ride to Stockholm is very short and easy to handle.

We enjoyed using the hot tub and sauna. The area by the pool was perfect for grilling and when it got a little cooler we appreciated the glassed in veranda. We had great communication with the host. Thanks for a nice spa vacation!

Madde's cozy home had everything that we needed, and more! The hosts were very welcoming and generous. Recommended!

A peaceful and beautiful place - we stayed for five nights and used the sauna and hot tub on a daily basis. The Baltic sea is only a few minute's walk away. Since the sauna is in a separate house, you have lots of space in the actual accommodation. Stockholm is less than an hour away - we used our rental car to get from the premises to our POIs. The hosts are super responsive and helpful. We recommend this place and would come back 👌🏼

Cozy and quiet place, where you can disconnect. The hosts were very nice and made sure that everything was right. We were able to enjoy the sauna and jacuzzi, as well as the barbecue area and nature! I'd go back!

Our stay at this unforgettable Airbnb on Varholma was truly a dream come true. Nestled in a peaceful and remote location, it offered the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life—a true haven for slowing down and reconnecting with nature. The house itself is beautifully and thoughtfully designed, with cozy Scandinavian interiors and so much attention to detail. Every corner feels warm, inviting, and filled with love. Whether it’s raining or the sun is shining, this place offers the perfect atmosphere to relax and unwind. And the sunsets? Simply breathtaking. Sitting outside in the evening, watching the sky turn golden over the water, was an experience we’ll never forget. We can’t recommend this magical spot enough!

When we arrived, we were met by Lotten. She showed the accommodation. In the fridge there was lettuce, ham and cheese as well as Lotten's own-grown carrots and Pak Choi. Lotte had also baked bread that we enjoyed for breakfast. Super delicious. the last morning was sunny and then it was wonderful to sit outside and have breakfast. The lot's cultivation land and the birdsong gave a calm where we could have sat for many hours. The pulse went down at Vinkeltorp. Before departure, we were invited to this year's Konstrunda as Lotten is an artist. Fantastic paintings and sculptures. If you are looking for a peaceful accommodation with a long distance to shops and necessities, this is perfect. We thank Lotten and her husband Bosse for their welcome that made us feel at home. What a lovely house! We felt very comfortable and are happy to have found this gem for our Stockholm stay. It is not far to the nearest subway station or tram station, but you are totally in the countryside. In the evening, we saw deer, foxes and hares from the terrace. The place is as beautiful as Thomas described it, it is extremely clean, a beautiful house. Thank you Thomas for the wonderful stay and for providing us with your Bijou.

A great place for those looking for peace and quiet. Nature! Free! Mälaren within walking distance. And yet also close to Stockholm (great city; reachable by train from Nykvarn/cottage). Great reception, cottage top, according to description. Nice! Separate bedroom. Well-maintained, clean, thoughtful. Great! Supermarket in Nykvarn and even larger ones in Södertalje. You won't be short of anything. Truly a top location with ditto host. Rarely experienced so! Highly recommended!

A large, nice cottage, Old, but modernly decorated. Good location, big rooms. Good with light. Nice lush garden and surroundings. I was really impressed and had a peaceful evening with my dog here.
