Vacation rentals with breakfast in Mälaren

A few days on the island in the Stockholm Archipelago was very special experience. A simple and cozy cottage. Very beautiful nature for lovely walks, swimming opportunities, berry picking and to relax. The nearby jetty is a nice place for dining or enjoying a lovely view! Max and his family are welcoming, friendly and helpful. We had a nice stay on the island. Recommended!

Great location, as it is very easy to get to town. My boys really enjoyed that there was an astro soccer pitch nearby. The house is very cosy.

3 rd time we have stayed here! Highly recommend! This time we also found the massage chair! New nice parking also.

A total of 9 of us stayed at Malin’s place. The layout of the kitchen, dining area and living room meant that we could all spend quality time together - something we were most looking for in our holiday. Even though we never got the chance to meet Malin, communication was always timely and they were always on hand to help us when we needed something and were so flexible. They even let us stay for an extra few hours as we had a later flight and they did not have guests on that day. Thank you once again for letting us stay in your home Malin, we gained such great memories here.

Ivannia was a great host—very responsive and helpful with any questions we had. The house is located on the outskirts of Stockholm, but it’s well connected, with several bus lines just a short walk away and running regularly. The surroundings are definitely a highlight. The garden overlooks the forest, and we actually saw deer almost every day, which was a lovely surprise. There’s also a nice lake about a 25–30 minute walk from the house, perfect for a swim on warm days. We were five adults and had plenty of space. The house is practical and comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchen that was really pleasant to use. The internet connection was solid too, which was a plus. Thanks Ivannia!

Quaint, rustic, perfect for what we needed. Tight quarters low ceilings watch your head if you’re tall. Perfect for 2 people.

We had a really great time at Linda and Mikael’s house. They are a lovely family and were very welcoming and even picked us up at the station and left us a lovely breakfast! The house is about a 45 minute journey into the centre of Stockholm which was very straightforward. A 7 minute walk to the bus stop to catch the 740 or 172 then a commuter train (40 or 41) into the city centre. It was really easy and the public transport in Sweden is very reliable and on time. We also really enjoyed being outside the city centre and having some peace and quiet. Their house is set in beautiful surroundings and we just stayed at home a couple of days lounging on the deck and walking to the local nature reserve to swim in the lake which was one of our favourite things! We had a fantastic holiday with our two young sons, thank you Linda and Mikael!

My flight got cancelled, so I never came to Sweden and couldn't stay at Adam's place. But Adam left me a very good impression. He was quick to answer my questions, and there were never any problems. If I come back then I will book his place again.

On - of this Apartment: The bed is really small for 2 people (120 x 190), it's ideal for 1 but not 2 people Pros: very clean and functional, ideally located to be a little quieter than the center of Stockholm. Metro right next door, convenience store and pharmacy just downstairs and lots of restaurants all around! Apart from the bed problem, we had a great time! Thank you

Christina's home was absolutely perfect! She was a great host. She gave us clear instructions, local recommendations, and made sure we had everything we needed. The BNB was beautiful and comfortable. This was also a perfect location with easy access to metro and all of the major destinations. We would stay here again and would highly recommend her place to anyone visiting Stockholm. You cannot find a better place!

The place was clean and perfect for us. Metro/train is close by, no trouble to get to centrum. Kiera is a great host, replies fast and gives good advice.

Really beautiful place to stay! Alexander is a lovely host with great communication, and his flat has everything you need for a memorable time in Stockholm. Will definitely stay here again when I’m back!

A superb stay in Nicklas’s lovely apartment. He was friendly, responsive and recommended two great restaurants which we visited and thoroughly enjoyed. Loads to do in Stockholm-we were there for the marathon. Highly recommend visiting and staying at Nicklas’ apartment.

Ulrika is an excellent host. The unit was clean and cozy. She provided multiple options for breakfast, all fresh. We had a multi night stay and found this to be a good central location from which we could visit area attractions.

Ett Place is an inspiring place with a very friendly hostess. The room is cozy, clean and furnished with a lot of love for detail. The apartment is in a quiet location in a great environment. The nearest metro station, which takes you directly to the city center, is just 5 minutes away. Everything was as described and Ewa is a great host who surprises you with breakfast in the morning. I would come back anytime!

I stayed 2 nights with Camilla and was extremely happy with my stay! Her hospitality was splendid. She went out of her way to make me feel at home (I was there to run a marathon 😅), giving me an early check in and late check out and was always super responsive! The place was easy to find, close to public transport and very clean and comfortable, just what I needed for a short stay and exactly like the photos. I would absolutely stay again the next time I’m in Stockholm ☺️

We had an amazing time staying at Sara’s cozy apartment! It’s in the best location in town—everything was immaculate, bright, and clean. Sara is a fantastic host: warm, welcoming, and easy to connect with. We immediately felt at home and shared some wonderful conversations. This is exactly what Airbnb is all about—creating meaningful connections and finding a second home abroad. Absolutely highly recommended! We would stay with her again in a heartbeat the next time we're in Stockholm.

A really nice and quiet place. Sharing the house is not a problem at all, everyone is discrete and friendly. I really loved the neighborhood with the huge nature reserve just behind.

My sister and I stayed with Michelle for a few days. The place is super clean and well equipped, with private bathroom and private entrance. The hosts Michelle and Claus are very friendly and helpful and Michelle spoiled us every morning with a lush breakfast. The connection to public transport is very good (about 8-10 minutes walk to the T-Bahn and tram). On a next visit to Stockholm, we would like to stay with Michelle again. Thank you Michelle and Claus.

Really grateful for Petter and his family for welcoming, warm and cosy stay - I felt like at home, and being able to have morning coffee chats about best places to see and do, advice on travelling felt really nice and welcoming. I really appreciated the pick up and drop off at the airport. The house was cosy, warm and very clean.
