While the exterior retains the atmosphere of a historic Kyoto townhouse, the interior is a space that harmonizes Japanese tradition and modernity. When you enter the entrance, you can enjoy the seasonal nature of Kyoto's unique tsubo garden, which is like a cut-out of the scenery in the mountains. The facility is a Kyoto townhouse with elegant taste, decorated with paintings by Japanese painters and decorations by craftsmen. It can accommodate up to 9 people in a spacious 100 ㎡ space. We renovated a 2-story storehouse built in the Edo period and turned it into a guest house. Although it is not spacious, a kitchen with an IH cooking heater has been set up on the first floor, while retaining the atmosphere of a traditional storehouse with earthen walls and thick beams.Fully air-conditioned on the 1st and 2nd floors for a comfortable stay.You can experience the sound insulation, the coolness of the summer, and the warmth of winter. There is a sauna facility about 5 minutes away by car, Anekawa Onsen about 15 minutes away, and Kita-Omi-no-Yu about 20 minutes away. There are many sightseeing spots unique to Nagahama, which are often the setting of history. In addition to the area around Lake Biwa, Japan's oldest railway station building, Nagahama Railway Square, Yanmar Museum where children can play, Kurobai Square, and other activities other than history. You can also enjoy gourmet food such as Omi beef, duck dishes, grilled mackerel somen, noppei udon, salad, bread, duck, and small ayu.
