This place was perfect for our two nights in Lake Como! Could not beat that view and the hot tub was fantastic after a long day of exploring. Host was easy to reach and had good instructions for check in. Would highly recommend a visit to Orrido di Vezio for a small hike and visit to the castle not too far away. All in all you couldn’t ask for anything more

It was just right for a little getaway. I was able to recharge super; the surroundings and the house were a dream. I felt very comfortable right away. Andy was always very helpful and hospitable, thank you for everything. I can highly recommend the place. I'd love to come back - next time with my family.

We enjoyed the place very much. The nice thing was: Our dogs were also very welcome. The rooms were just sufficient from the square, but the garden is huge and the private swimming pool leaves nothing to be desired. The large outdoor kitchen is perfect for grilling, cooking and getting together. We would recommend the place right away and are already considering when we will go again:)

As soon as we stepped onto the steep footpath to follow Greta up to the hillside cabin we knew we were in a special place. Time becomes irrelevant as you gaze out over the beautiful lake to the forested mountains on the other side. You hear only church bells, cuckoo birds, and cow bells from the friendly little herd that roams around up there. The experience is priceless. It was only a short walk to the trail that leads up to the top of the mountain (and over to Switzerland if you want!). It’s a fun walk down through the village’s old stone pathways to reach the lake below. The cabin had everything we needed to be comfortable. Greta and her family cheerfully take care of getting your luggage and groceries up and down and are very attentive to getting you anything you may need. Enjoy your time!!

This house is just amazing! Beautifully placed on a very private spot, very well equipped and super clean. We had a wonderful stay with our family and would definately love to come again!

Our stay at Alp Arami was fantastically beautiful! Exactly what we were looking for and booked. The place was as described: quiet, clean, well equipped (except for frying pan and kitchen knife) and everything worked smoothly. The surroundings are simply magical! Forests, mountains and the soothing sound of cowbells. Perfect for hiking, switching off and relaxing. The journey is a bit adventurous but absolutely feasible for experienced drivers. From the parking lot, a 500 m footpath leads uphill to the Rusticco. If you're looking for peace and nature, this is the place to be. Jana was a wonderful host! Warm, attentive and helpful. You can feel how much joy and love she cultivates and enlivens this special place! We would have loved to stay and will definitely be back!

The accommodation is beautifully located in the Valle di Mello and the area is great for the children to play.

We felt very comfortable. Anna was always available for questions. Check-in and check-out were great through the hotel next door. Everything very clean, beautifully modern and with attention to detail... quiet surroundings, supermarket, bakery within 15 minutes' walk. Also 5 minutes away is a very delicious cheese factory. Excursion destinations such as Lugano, Locarno, Como, Ascona and even Milan are less than 2 hours away. Passageways were also easy to drive in winter.

Baita Pierino is a jewel immersed in the woods, an oasis of tranquility in which to take refuge after walks, with a small veranda where you can drink a coffee while listening to the sounds of nature. We spent three days in Katia's accommodation with our dog and everything was as described, we didn't miss anything. The area is well-served, in fact, a few kilometers away you can find bars, restaurants, and shops. Katia is kind and helpful, she made us feel at home. We highly recommend it!

The stay with Devid and Fabio was wonderful. The cottage is tastefully and modernly furnished, the beds are comfortable. There is a nice rain shower and the kitchen contains everything you need. But, the best thing is the view of Lake Como. What a beautiful panorama that is a little different every day. In the red book, Devid and Fabio have collected a lot of practical information and ideas for excursions, we have visited a number of them: without exception successful. In addition, Devid gave us all kinds of good advice and guided us well in the process of arrival and departure. We felt very welcome. Thank you very much for that.

Staying there was amazing, you have so much nature surrounding you, getting there is a little tricky but with the right car is all worth it! Andrea was really friendly and the place was clean and just like the pictures! Would definitely go again!

I don't want to say good things about this place for fear of not having any places left for next year😁. You've got it, it's a great place to stay but above all super nice hosts. The setting is idyllic, located at an equal distance from Lake Lugano and Lake Como. A raised car is very useful for getting over the cobblestones. Claudia and Luca's accommodation has all the essentials for family time and unwinding. Claudia and Luca are very attentive hosts who answer all our questions quickly. (This was helpful to me following a car problem). The horses were a plus for my daughter who was delighted to be able to take care of them with Claudia. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for peace, beautiful scenery, great hosts, and located 20 minutes from the great Italian lakes. What more could you ask for? 😉

A week at Gaby’s place felt like a dream. The area is insanely beautiful and the house has everything you can wish for. It’s been my favorite airbnb I have ever booked!

Really loved our stay for my husbands birthday. We wanted somewhere with great views, nice and secluded where our dog could have lots of lovely walks. We were an hour away from Lake Como and managed a lovely day trip. Interior of the property was very cosy and quintessential Swiss. Comfy beds, kitted-out kitchen, lovely shower and super quiet.

Great place to stay for some peace and quiet. Very rustic feeling. Also be ready for some improvisation since electricity isn‘t guaranteed and you may need to improvise a fridge to keep food cold or have dinner in the company of a cozy gas light. All in all a great place to stay and Maru was super friendly and helpful

A beautiful chalet close to the Swiss border, but in the best Italian mountain location. The view is amazing, and the house is perfect, both in size and location, to spend beautiful days there. Sara as a host is very quick to respond and friendly. When you arrive, you will be welcomed by Carla and Stefano and led to the chalet. Both are incredibly kind and helpful, and make you feel at home. The chalet itself is small and cozy, just the right size for two people, with all the comforts you could want, and you'll be really surprised up there. We enjoyed the time there and look forward to the next visit there.

We enjoyed it very much. The place is clean with a great location. Linens and towels are provided, as are spices and everyday necessities. There was even spaghetti and risotto for the first evening, so we didn't have to shop. Of course, for cooking yourself. Great area, less tourism. Recommendation: Ristoro Alpino La Furbeda in Dandrio for polenta. We will be happy to come back :)

A magnificent place, the valley is sunny and cozy even in winter. The house is warm and cozy, she is missing nothing and opens to a beautiful and spacious view. We came with the snow and the host was very helpful in supporting us upon arrival. Enough dishes for groups as well as blankets and towels. Heating, stove, and hot water allow you to warm up when you return from nearby walks. In winter the nearest groceries can be reached by car or 40min on foot (but you come here just to be immersed in the valley!) while there is a pizzeria restaurant a well-stocked and cheerful bar a few steps away. Walkers accessible to beginner hikers nearby and a 30-minute drive from Val di Mello. We will definitely be back!
