Superb river & countryside views

From the moment we arrived, Cathy & Gary made us feel so welcome. The place is beautiful & the views are breathtaking. It's such a peaceful place, everything we were looking for to escape from work for a week.Cathy welcomed us with a proper Cornish cream tea & we sat on the verandah admiring the views with our scones & a cuppa. The shower is a nice big 1200 unit with a choice of two shower heads. Loved the open plan space to relax & practice my Tai Chi while admiring the views. There is so much you can do in the area or you could just sit & watch the train coming & going on the viaduct or the cows coming in & out of milking, so calming. We chose to do all of that & fit in some walking & cycling. The Boot Inn is a must for Sunday Lunch or any time but do book. Valenti's icecream in the village is also a must visit but only open weekends. Looking to return again soon to catch up with Cathy & Gary once again

Patch's pad

We had an amazing stay at Kevin’s Airbnb! The location was absolutely fantastic — close to everything with plenty to see and do nearby. From the moment we booked, Kevin’s communication was excellent, making everything seamless and stress-free. What really stood out were the thoughtful touches. Kevin went above and beyond to make our trip special by decorating for my mam’s 60th birthday — such a kind and personal gesture that meant so much to us. He also provided a lovely welcome basket, which was such a warm and generous surprise. The space was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, and we genuinely felt right at home. We can’t thank Kevin enough for making our stay so memorable. We’ll definitely be returning. Highly recommend! — Thank you again, Kevin! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Heidi's riverside house. The location is perfect if you just want to relax and watch the world go by with all the boats, gigs, canoes etc that pass by, punctuated by ice-cream at Valentinas and a pint or two at the local pubs. Such a friendly and welcoming community too. The house is homely and has everything you might need. We look forward to returning soon.

Cornwall, Tamar Valley house with Dartmoor views

From booking to leaving I can't fault anything about this holiday. As soon as i booked, June got in contact with details of the accomodation and the park. In addition, she offered lots of extra info about the surrounding area and places to visit while we were staying there. A week before arriving, June made contact with all the final arrangements regarding the keys and details of how everything worked in the property. On arrival, everything was as June described and the place was immaculate. Everything you could need for a holiday break is there. Washing machine, dishwasher, fully stocked kitchen. Great balcony for relaxing. Comfy lounge area for watching TV on a rainy day. Bedrooms good size with plenty of storage. The appartment is easilly big enough for four people with a good sized dining table to get round and play games or sit and chat about your days out. The Park: Pool is clean, warm and not crowded. Site is quiet. Location-wise it's ideal for either Devon or east Cornwall. 5*

The Annexe at Sherwell Farm

Tracey and Peter are lovely hosts. We spent 2 nights in the Annex to spend time with our daughter who is studying in Plymouth. The beds were very comfortable and everything was clean. We had a very comfortable and peaceful stay with everything we needed. The homemade scones were the best. The outside space is amazing with swings and little seating areas. We loved the view from the barn. Hope to return someday.

This place was amazing. Very well setup with really good appliances and looks like a lot of thought has gone into setting it up into being a holiday home with comfort in mind. The whole ambience and setup of this house gives you a real sense of being on a luxurious holiday. To add to this, the host gave a lot of very good suggestions on places to visit and things to do. Really enjoyed our stay here. Highly recommended.
