Cabin vacation rentals in Loch Linnhe

Absolutely beautiful lodge with an amazing view of Loch Ness. Easy walk to The Falls of Foyers and down to the shores of the loch. The hot tub was amazing, the lodge was very clean and the instructions for access were helpful and accurate. We hired a car which I would recommend and we visited Fort Augustus, Inverness and Chanonry Point (got to see dolphins!). All of these were easily driveable from the lodge. One of the nicest places I've stayed and we will definitely recommend to friends!

We had such a lovely weekend staying at the Highland Hilly Huts in Drumnadrochit. The hut itself was beautiful – really cosy and well thought out, with lots of sweet little touches that made it feel so welcoming. The owners couldn’t have been more helpful – friendly, accommodating, and clearly passionate about making guests feel at home. You can tell a lot of care has gone into every detail. The absolute highlight for us was the homemade bread – Such a thoughtful and unexpected treat that made our stay even more memorable. Would 100% recommend if you’re looking for a peaceful, relaxing break.

This cabin was idealic. Stunning location, so peaceful and the cabin itself was perfect. Spotlessly clean, every utensil you could need. Comfortable beds and pillows ( I would like to know where the pillows were purchased) fresh clean bedding. The hot tub was incredible. The bbq was a lovely bonus which we used of an evening. Would highly recommend and would love to return. Thank you Jane the stay was faultless 💗

The perfect stay in the Scottish wilderness without compromising comfort. Loved all the small luxuries like welcome basket, local soaps, gorgeous bathroom with couples robes & of course the hot tub! Fab for a couple travelling with their dog! Will definitely be returning :)

Very nice cabin. Very peaceful and calm surroundings. Sensational views of lochness. Only 20 mins from the centre of Inverness so plenty things to do locally. Nice, clean, welcoming host. Excellent money for value.

Not much else I can say other the FABULOUS. Such a relaxing and peaceful location with wildlife surrounding you including a Golden Eagle! The cabin itself has everything you need for a luxurious self-catering stay and we enjoyed each and all of the the facilities. Thank you so much.

This was our absolute FAVORITE stay in all of Scotland! The location is very peaceful and the house was so so clean and comfortable. The hot tub was amazing and so many thoughtful touches throughout the home (robes, yummy snacks, local recommendations). Margaret was so kind and friendly in communications and we LOVED meeting the cows, sheep and chickens! Our only regret was that we only stayed one night as we wish we had more time to enjoy this incredible place. Seriously do not miss out on booking this spot- if and when we are back in Scotland we will for sure be back to Riverview!

On arriving wow! Surrounded by trees and woodland, private driveway. Entering the property the lounge living area is huge and so cosy. We didn’t use the extra log’s provided. Master bedroom has a wet room which was great for my disabled daughter. Hand wash is provided in bathrooms and kitchen. Also provided are dishwasher tablets etc. Big white towels in master bedroom. Kitchen has all you need. View from the decking is amazing. We were lucky to get some sunshine amongst showers and the decking area is a lovely suntrap. There are children’s books as well as adult books and games provided if you are stuck inside.Put out some sunflower hearts and the red squirrel visited. The coffee shop and bothy, just a short walk away does amazing food/cakes. Don’t leave without paying a visit. Never had such fabulous cakes. We did our food shopping at the Coop in Newtonmore about 9 miles away but ate out in Aviemore about 23 miles away. Delaneys was a highlight for food and also the Old Bridge Inn.

Wir waren zwei Nächte in der Schäferhunde Roy. Es war sehr gemütlich und die Hütte hat eine schöne Aussicht. Eine Kleinigkeit fehlte bei Ankunft in der Hütte, die aber auf Nachfrage gleich nachgereicht wurde. Es hat uns gut gefallen.

This is a beautiful part of Scotland,all the walks that are local are beautiful. It’s a great base to have because there are lots of places within 30-45 minutes. The village is beautiful and we will be returning. Watch the shinty when you are there …

Nous avons passé 2 nuits à Caol. La cabane de Nicky est charmante et le petit jardin très appréciable avec un chien. Le logement est très propre et très bien équipé, il ne manque de rien !

Fantastic wee stay in a bothy outside Mallaig. Clear instructions on how to get there. Absolutely spotless inside on arrival. The welcome basket was so appreciated!! Lots of tasty Scottish goodies- the irn bru cans was an extra delight! WiFi was fantastic for being so remote. TV had fab options and really thought the automatic sign out was an excellent idea. Shower pressure was amazing! Great recommendations for things around the local area: walks, activities and restaurants! Lot of time, thought and care has clearly went into the Bothy, which elevated our experience

Just home from 3 nights with our friends and our dogs. Cabin is immaculate and has everything you need. Also lovely we box of goodies left for us on arrival and box of goodies for the dogs I thought that was a nice surprise. Very peaceful place and decorated beautiful. Decking area fab to sit and relax. We were unlucky with the weather but still managed to have a great time. Decking area is sheltered from rain so we were still able to sit out and enjoy the views. Caroline was very responsive to messages and a great host we wouldn’t hesitate to book again.

We had an amazing time in Alyson’s cabin. Even though the weather wasn’t kind, the view from the cabin makes up for it. Watching the weather change and the wonderful rainbows-amazing. Luss is a quaint, popular little village. So lovely when all the coach trips go home and you can explore on your own . There are a few places to eat and drink in Luss, the Loch Lomond hotel was lovely. We had a great walk up Ben Dubh, which is just behind Luss and also visited Conic Hill for an easier hike. The village walks are really pleasant too. The cabin had everything needed for a short stay, it was clean and well equipped. We would definitely recommend.

Lovely view of the lake. Great position for visiting the local area. Pod in great condition (like brand new). The small dishwasher was a surprise 😀. Good directions from the host to find pod. Host available but discreet. We had a lovely time!

Beautiful cottage with amazing view. Was so nice meeting James and he was a wealth of information on things to do in the area. Would highly recommend!

Esther's place is simply beautiful- the views are stunning and what you expect from vacation home! They both are awesome hosts and super kind & adjusting - especially when we ended up going to some other place 🤣🤣 The place is spotless (& I mean it)

Oakwood Hide was our first hub during our Highlands tour and we just loved it. It's a one room lodge but actually quite spacy and equiped with everything one needs to have a good time, prepare meals etc ... The view on the mountains from the front windowis amazing and the garden provides a very peacefull setting. The lodge itself was nicely constructed and utterly clean. Kyle and Justin were constantly standby if we needed help but otherwise totally respected our privacy. Drumnadrochit is not too far from the lovely Inverness and basically situated on the banks of the renowned Loch Ness lake (we just missed the monster ...). It holds two cosy restaurants and a visit of the Urquhart Bay Wood is certainly recommendable. Thanks a lot, Kylie and Justin, for having us, we truly enjoyed our stay.

Amazing stay! Have been waiting to stay for a while and it more than exceeded our expectations! As nature lovers and being outdoors this was amazing! The fire at outside is a wonderful touch and what an amazing view to wake up to! The cabin was spotless and everything was thought of! Even a wonderful gift on arrival from the hosts was a lovely touch! We are already thinking of when we can next go and for much longer! Exactly what we needed and cannot fault the place at all! Thank you!

Superbe maison ! Nous avons été agréablement surpris, c'était encore plus beau et spacieux que sur les photos. Le décor est enchanteur et l'emplacement est idéal pour y découvrir l'île. Si vous êtes chanceux, vous pourrez voir le soleil se lever à partir de la chambre à coucher. J'aurais pu y rester simplement pour lire toute la journée devant la fenêtre (mais il y a tant à faire sur l'île!). J'y retournerais sans hésiter.

Claire and Andy's place is a hidden gem. I've spent only a night there, but I would certainly stay more in another opportunity. It's very beautiful, cosy, with a gorgeous view of the mountains and surrounded by amazing Highland wildlife. I highly recommend it.
