Ghoirtein Bed and Breakfast

BrianRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Susan and Michael were wonderful hosts. The room was very clean, and their home, including the garden, offered a lovely retreat. My girlfriend and I felt very comfortable in their accommodation. We really enjoyed the breakfast and the cat who greeted us every morning. Michael also gave us many tips for the rest of our trip, which we included in our itinerary and thanks to that, we discovered many more beautiful places.

Ceol Na Mara B+B, Sea and Mountain views near Skye

CarlyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We stayed at Jayne and Ross’s BnB for our honeymoon, and couldn’t have asked for a more delightful space! The room was large (kind bed, two arm chairs by the window, a desk, armoir) and had a lovely view over the loch. And the bathroom was what dreams are made of - great shower (water pressure!), and claw footed tub, makeup space, and tons of room. And the general home has wonderful decor and charm (think pull strings for lights in the bathroom). Breakfasts were easy, and Ross even gave us a tour of his bagpipe shop next door! And great access to both Isle of Skye and daytrips north. One of the top Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed at.

B & B at Number 1

RobertRating, 5 stars2 days ago
My wife and I were in Skye for the half marathon and Broadford is an ideal stop off for a one night stay. Susie’s place was perfect for our needs and had everything we needed. A comfortable bed with quality linen in a tastefully decorated setting with lovely views. Clever use of a breakfast bar and small fridge meant we had a scrumptious breakfast with lots of choice and enough food and drink to have provided breakfast for several days. Will definitely look at staying here again when we are next in Skye.

Newly built Rural Cottage sleeps 4 in 2 bedrooms

JenniferRating, 5 stars3 days ago
We (my daughters of 6 and almost 4, my husband and I) very much enjoyed our stay at Beccy's place was clean, spacious and comfortable and a great base to explore this side of Mull from. My girls loved playing in the garden, and we enjoyed looking at the sheep, goats and Highland cows in the fields surrounding the house. Based on Beccy's recommendation, I took my eldest daughter for a walk down the road for a swim at the secluded Black Beach, and it was so idyllic! Beccy was very friendly and she made us feel very welcome. We definitely hope to come again someday!

If you are coming to Glencoe, stay with Lawrence. It’s a wonderful experience and Lawrence is a great host! It’s an easy 15 minute drive to the Hidden Valley Hike and easy to get to any of the viewpoints on your itinerary. The breakfast is delicious and a great start to your day. Make sure to take advantage of the common area, play some games, have a drink, and meet the other guests. Would strongly recommend!

Carol's place was in a perfect spot on our return to the mainland from a visit to the Isles, ending in Skye. A short and easy drive from Skye, easy to find, and Carol and her husband were very friendly and welcoming hosts. Our en-suite room was comfortable and had everything we needed for a good night's rest. The breakfast was excellent; Carol laid out yogurt and mixed berries, plus orange juice and cereals, plus a cooked breakfast of sausage, bacon, egg, hash brown, tomatoes and toast was on offer! it was all delicious. If we come this way again, it is very likely we'd seek a room here again! Thank you Carol 😊

The Wide Mouthed Frog Room 7 with a Sea View

What a perfect little stop! The room was clean, larger than expected, and otherwise exactly as described. We even had a lovely view of the marina and Dunstaffnage castle. The beds were comfy and the shower was hot. It’s a few short minutes out of Oban, and we loved getting out of the tourist bustle. The restaurant was clean and well-appointed, the hosts were clear and friendly, and overall everything was great.

Beautiful, spacious apartment under the roof. But it can get very warm. The staff of the restaurant below heard very loud music after the restaurant closed from about 10:00 p.m. to about 11:00 p.m., which unfortunately was very audible.
A twin room features two wooden beds with crisp white linens. A bright green chair adds a pop of color to the space. Natural light filters in through patio doors that open to a garden, complemented by patterned curtains and a flat-screen television on the wall.

I had a wonderful stay at Sarah and Yorick's home that has been built with much thought and love. They have done a great job at carving out a safe space, which is further amplified by the vast nature and stillness at the doorstep. Meals using vegetables from the garden with other guests facilitated eclectic discussions and I learned a lot. A great wee get-away.

Rm 3 Lodge House B&B on West Highland Way

NadineRating, 5 stars1 week ago
I had to get used to the new style of B&B nowadays in Scotland. You get everything but a breakfast. This is quite useful, if you like to do some walks that are taking some hours and you don't like to wait for a normal breakfast time to start your walk. Staying with Robert was great, as you have a lot of space. A big kitchen for your own style of breakfast, a living room to meet other guest. Thanks a lot, we would love to come again.

We had a wonderful stay! The room was small but spotlessly clean, with a private bathroom. We especially enjoyed the peaceful conservatory, where we could relax with a cup of tea and have warm, friendly chats with our lovely host, Catherine. She’s incredibly kind, welcoming, and a joy to talk to – her presence made our stay even more special. The location was quiet and just what we were looking for. Breakfast was generous and delicious. Thank you for such a memorable stay!
