Schoolhouse cottage has gorgeous views of the sea and mountains and is wonderfully located for exploring the highlands. We welcome guests with one small to medium sized dog, but if you wish to bring a dog do not use instant booking - please get in touch with us beforehand. At the Schoolhouse you can enjoy the flexibility of a whole cottage, but for short stays of 2 nights or longer in the winter and 3 nights or longer the rest of the year.

Alan Brek, famous hero of "Kidnapped" by RL Stevenson, was born and raised in this house. Many historic events are related to Ballachulish House. It's beautiful grounds are surrounded by golf course. Bearnus Bothy on Isle of Ulva

Bearnus Bothy has been lovingly renovated using our principle of ecological design to repair, repurpose and use what has been washed-up by the sea. It is one of the last old residences outside of the main dwellings around the Main House on Ulva. As such there are no neighbours until you reach the tiny community on Gometra - where we live - another three miles down the track.
