Neptunes's Rest

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space Neptune's Rest, nestled in the serene village of Caol in Fort William. Only a stone's throw away from the Great Glen Way. From here explore Neptune's Staircase, a flight of 8 locks on the Caledonian Canal. A five minute walk can catch a view of the iconic "Harry Potter" steam train as it passes through Banavie station on its way to Glenfinnan, one of the world's most scenic rail journeys. Your Scottish retreat awaits you here at Neptune's Rest.

Good phone reception for most providers but no wi-fi or TV, just DVDs but who needs a screen when you can just sit and watch the ever changing weather sweep across the glen.

Ideally situated for exploring the stunning scenery of Glencoe, Fort William:-the UK's outdoor capital or the small harbour town of Oban the seafood capital of Scotland and gateway to the Hebridean Islands. Located midway between Nevis range and Glencoe mountain the Dragons Den is an ideal base for year round outdoor pursuits including skiing, mountain biking ,swimming and ⛳.

Each have 2 large ensuite bathrooms with power showers & double ended baths. A fully equipped kitchen, and a log burner in the living room. A large deck with seating and bbq wraps the front of the property with wonderful loch views. Each bedroom has double patio doors where you can access the water. The Fox's Den is a luxury wee lodge situated in the village of North Ballachulish with views towards Glencoe. The lodge is cosy and has all amenities, central heating,shower room, Tv, WiFi, kitchen area with fridge/freezer,microwave, sofa, private patio and seating area and private parking. Perfectly situated for climbing Ben Nevis (20min away) Forest walks within 10min drive, golf course 5 min drive away and the lodge is also situated between 2 mountain resorts, Nevis Range and Glencoe

Enjoy the peace and views at our cosy wee cabin. Beautiful setting on the banks of Loch Eil. Watch the Jacobite Steam Train pass on the opposite shore, along with the sea birds and other wildlife. Easy access to the water if you have kayaks or paddle boards. Located within the grounds of our home, so you share the driveway and garden. Make sure you bring your provisions as we are 35 minutes drive from Fort William and there are no shops or restaurants near by.

The Bothan

Relax in this calm, stylish space on the Isle of Kerrera and explore the beautiful and wild landscape. The ideal island getaway for couples or lone adventurers. Abundant wildlife such as otters, sea eagles and beautiful wild flora can be discovered as well as historic sites such as Gylen castle, all the while surrounded by breathtaking views. The island is easily accessible by the nearby Calmac passenger ferry from Gallanach, near the mainland town of Oban.

Open all year. For couples, 2 friends or solo travellers . Dogs are very welcome. Argyll Retreat is a cosy timber cabin located in the Argyll Forest Park and Loch Lomond and Trossachs Natiomal Park. It is owned and managed by myself. The lodge is layed out for a couple or solo travellers. Argyll is steeped in history and has miles of coastline, lochs, forests and mountains. Dunans Cottage

Dunans Cottage is situated in the beautiful Knapdale Forest 1.9 miles from Cairnbaan within a National Scenic Area. The views are fantastic! The Cottage is off the beaten track but within a traditional farming hamlet with access via a forestry track ( see illustrated map ). Many outdoor and indoor activities are available within the area but the peace and quiet at Dunans are unique.
