Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Locarno

Super location in a quiet location with brilliant views of Lake Maggiore and surroundings. Very nice house with very good amenities, nothing was missing. We felt very comfortable in the two weeks from the beginning. The view is famos, with good visibility you can see the Monte Rosa massif in the distance. Specifically, we would like to mention the warm care of Tatiana. She was always available and helped us with many good types. Kind regards Markus Habegger

Could not have asked for a better place to stay! The view was stunning, the neighbors were so friendly and sweet, the home itself was perfect and had everything we needed, and there was so much to do in the local area. Will definitely be recommending in the future!!

This home is incredible. The view is stunning. But it is a decent hike up to the house. If you come by ferry it would take 30 mins from terminal to get to the home with many steps. Very challenging with a heavy suitcase. If you come by car it will take approximately 10-15 mins. Lots of stairs. Pack light if you’re able to. The home itself is over 3 levels by a spiral staircase. Bring light luggage if possible. The deck is so nice to spend time on. Lovely, memorable home with a friendly helpful host. Will never forget this beautiful place

Simply a great place to stay for a vacation in Ticino. Brigitte personally welcomed us and showed us everything. She gave us great recommendations for the area, which we tried directly and enriched our vacation with her knowledge of Ticino. The Ticino house is very nice, practical and thoughtfully furnished and offers wonderful seating, especially outside, with great views of the surrounding mountains and Lake Maggiore in the distance. The kitchen is very well equipped and the appliances all work very well. The wine cellar also invites you to taste. We always liked to include the box with travel guides, maps and brochures in our daily planning. We also liked the location of the house. Somewhat away from major main roads, but also not too far off. Thus, the trips to the excursion destinations were very pleasant and shopping facilities were also easy and quick to reach by car

We were in Locarno for a women's weekend and are thrilled with our stay. The house was very clean, perfectly equipped, we felt very comfortable. With two seats you always have sun if you want. The location is great, quiet but very close (on foot) to Piazza Grande, the Lido, the lake and the public transport stops. The hostess was very nice, flexible, and you can feel that this house is a matter of heart. We will be happy to come back! 🩷

This was a lovely holiday here and Adriana was friendly and helpful even though English was not one of her languages. Clean and very comfortable accommodation- upstairs and down. Not a lot of room in main bedroom. Great bathroom and very easy to use kitchen . Coffee, jam, milk and crackers all provided . As we came from Australia ( most guests were from switzerland) we were unaware of local restaurants recommended and where to get groceries locally; so perhaps written instructions could be done for future guests. There is a little lack of privacy near the bathroom to the bedroom and perhaps lack of privacy near the door and in the lounge room. Great stay for seven days and highly recommended.

since we were already here last year, of course we already knew everything. For us, the few days were very relaxing again and we would come back anytime. the apartment is spread over 3 floors but that did not bother us. also that no TV is available, we can only see as an advantage. Sometimes away from everyday life and all the luxury stuff. There are plenty of other possibilities in Ticino. That's luxury enough. Thank you, gladly again.

This was the most unusual lodging I've ever been in on a road trip The house had everything I needed and more. My favorite spot is the upper terrace. I was lucky enough to spend a few evenings there, processing all the content for the day to the sound of birdsong. It's not easy to get here, but it's worth it. When you open the door of this house, it's like stepping into a fairy tale. Unforgettable experience, thank you!

Incredible views. Highly recommend renting a scooter to make commute up and down the hill much easier. 10/10 would stay here again.

We stayed at Piroska's for the weekend for a wedding. The apartment was as described and was very clean. It has all the necessities. Piroska was very responsive and accommodating. Everything was perfect.

The rental was beautiful with an amazing view. It took 10 minutes to get to town by car. Easy drive to Varenna and Bellano. The outdoor patio was great with a large area under cover.

We had a wonderful stay at the apartment. The flat was exceptional clean and located in a great part of Ascona, very close to the lake. Also the communication with Alex was excellent. My family and I highly recommend this Airbnb and want to visit again as soon as possible.

Such a beautiful place - a charming garden, the surroundings wonderful - what more could you ask for... we had a stopover on the way back from southern Italy with our 3 children. This is a beautiful apartment in a prime location that has a parking spot, but you don't need a car. The apartment is a very short walk to the lake ferry service, the town square and a C10 bus stop. You can walk to Menaggio Piazza Roma Bus station in under 10 minutes if you want to take the bus to Lugano, Switzerland. The apartment is beautiful, with historic decor and modern conveniences and a lovely terrace. You can hear some street noises, but the apartment is very private. Roxana is very easy to communicate with. Thank you Roxana! We enjoyed our stay!

My only regret is that we can’t give 6 stars on the evaluation and that since we want to come back it hurts me to advertise it to others!! Frankly, a part from the place which is a little jewel, the calmness of the surroundings, the spectacular lake Como, what we appreciated the most is the kindness and proactivity of our hosts. They truly embody the ideal concept of what Airbnb should always be. Thanks to the whole family

Wonderful private and gorgeous retreat high up on the hillside. RENT A CAR. We did, but only last minute and initially had planned to uber to and from the Airbnb both for arrival and departure as well as just day trips; this would have been a mistake, it is 12-14 minutes up the hill from the town. If you have a rental car and are comfortable driving up steep roads, it is a fun adventure and the views make it well worth the trek. The space itself is second to none. Gorgeous pool with million dollar views, several levels of terraces with sun chairs, outdoor eating areas, and the home itself is inviting and comfortable.

Wonderful place! 100% would stay again. Easy to park and go. Amazing views and comfortable accommodations. Even had a welcome basket! Local store has wine for $4 and you can grab items for breakfast before you set out. If going downtown get there early for parking. Great dinner spots all over. Elena was the best guide to meet us and get settled in. Amazing flute player as well. We loved our villa in Bellagio!
