Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Locarno District

Enjoyed the tranquility and beauty of this place for four days. Everything spotless - and with all amenities. House sits in a private park with a couple of other houses. True paradise - we would love to come again. You can walk down to the lago - though ended up taking the car most of the time to get to restaurants. A couple of very nice ones in the area - Riva/Shaka (beach club vibe), Osteria Vairano (magnificent view), Rodolfo (excellent local cuisine)

Our stay here in Maggia wonderful! Everything you need is close to the house, (even a short hike to a gorgeous waterfall!) The house was really comfortable and easy to access. We recommend it and look forward to visiting again!

Our 2 dogs loved the beautifully maintained lawn, which is fully fenced. Idyllically quiet and private, we liked that very much. Ideally located for hiking and the bus station is also very close. There is nothing missing in the house.

We were in Locarno for a women's weekend and are thrilled with our stay. The house was very clean, perfectly equipped, we felt very comfortable. With two seats you always have sun if you want. The location is great, quiet but very close (on foot) to Piazza Grande, the Lido, the lake and the public transport stops. The hostess was very nice, flexible, and you can feel that this house is a matter of heart. We will be happy to come back! 🩷

We had a wonderful time in this beautiful rustico! The host was super friendly, helpful and always available – simply great! The accommodation is lovingly furnished and is surrounded by nature, perfect for those seeking peace and quiet and wanting to escape the hustle and bustle of city life. For nature lovers, it is a true paradise – wake up in the morning with birdsong and enjoy the starry sky in the evening. The Rustico is also ideal for families.

Great place with enchanting views. Beautiful pool and absolutely homely pergola and BBQ. Beds are fresh and comfortable. Clean and tidy. Even has games on site in case it rains or is cold.

I had very special days with my daughter and our dog in the small but fine stone house. Location super quiet and you can just start hiking. A great tip if you like to be in nature, without the hustle and bustle.

Angela is the perfect host. She welcomed us so warmly and prepared everything for us with love. She thought of everything. The rooms are large and flooded with lots of light. I felt very comfortable and could only enjoy this week. If you want this location and the views, you've found the right place with Angela. We will be happy to come back.

The Morenos were super friendly, patiently showed us everything. The terrace and views are super nice. The small apartment is perfect for a short break to enjoy. We'll definitely be back. Good starting point for various climbing & bouldering areas. Thanks 😊🙏🏻

The 4 days with Beatrice were wonderful! We arrived with the motorcycles and had the perfect location through the apartment to make excursions. Very nice area! Beatrice is a very friendly and accommodating host. She organized our first breakfast and gave us great tips. We would all book the place again immediately & maybe even come back next year. :-)

Nicola is not only an outstanding host but a great human being, someone you will enjoy having a chat with. He made me feel at home taking care of the smallest details. The bed was super comfy. The flat was spacious including a beautiful balcony. The shower was powerful and hot. Everything was spotless! Last but not least I could hear the silence at night in that place, yet only a short walk from the beautiful centre of Ascona where you can find everything you wish for. A great stay and fantastic value for money! I hope to be back soon!

Super nice apartment on the slope of Vairano on the ground floor (2 more apartments on the 2nd and 3rd floors). Small kitchen with all the necessary utensils to cook simple dishes, with oven, fridge with small integrated freezer compartment and door, without dishwasher. Dining table with 3 chairs. Bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. Bedroom with a very comfortable double bed and large wardrobe. Sofa also comfortable. TV and Wifi worked perfectly. Very clean apartment and everything as described in the listing and seen in the photos. Access to the house is rather steep and narrow. Parking spaces are sufficiently available. Communication with Roberto worked without any problems. Thank you so much for the wonderful and carefree stay.

Our time in this fantastic cottage surrounded by nature was simply unforgettable! As soon as you enter, you can feel the special, positive energy of the house, which immediately calms you down. The apartment is not only perfectly equipped, but also furnished with so much attention to detail that nothing is missing. We felt welcome from the first moment and were able to feel completely comfortable thanks to Lara. One of our highlights was the cozy game nights, where we laughed a lot and just forgot about the time. The well-equipped kitchen left nothing to be desired, so we were able to conjure up an autumnal pumpkin soup to match the season. We also particularly remember the hike where we collected fresh chestnuts and encountered many wonderful mushrooms - magical. The location of the house is a dream for nature lovers, many hikes in the area. We loved it and thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Emanuele is a great host! His place is extremely well organized and is exactly shown in the photos. The house is very clean and comfortable. He is very responsive and helpful. His property is located just behind the beach therefore very easy access to the lake. Very peaceful vicinity. The view from balcony is fascinating. Our stay was beyond our expectations! I would definitely come back this property.

Beautiful apartment with fantastic views! We enjoyed our stay very much - everything went smoothly, the apartment was very clean and we especially used the barbecue equipment. Highly recommended!

The Alphüttli offered exactly what we were looking for. Peace, nature and just time to be! The neighbor Gregor is also very helpful and has three great dogs. Alex gave us great instructions and was always easily accessible for questions. We will be happy to come back!

It was a wonderful week in the Centovalli! The house is located in a small village surrounded by nature with fantastic views. We felt very comfortable. And would definitely come again. Very nice surroundings for cycling, hiking and for excursions to Italy or Lake Maggiore. Great restaurants in the surrounding areas. Accommodation has everything you need. A beautiful place in the middle of the woods – highly recommended! Alois welcomed us very warmly and was always helpful. He gave us all the important information, so we immediately felt comfortable. Mountain house surrounded by nature with breathtaking views that, alone, is worth the asking price for the stay. The house is spacious (we were in 5 adults) and has everything you need for a peaceful and pleasant stay. The two wood-burning fireplaces available are more than enough to heat the spaces in a short time and give a timeless atmosphere. Mario is an extraordinary host: responsive, very kind and available. The directions and instructions you gave us on the different roads to get to the house were clear, real and useful. In short: I recommend everyone to stay in Mario's house, you will not be disappointed!!
