Vacation rentals with a balcony in Locarno District

First, a clarification: Franco does not exist. The apartment is part of Interhome and is rented through Airbnb. We rented the apartment for a week in November and used it as a starting point for hiking holidays in Ticino. The apartment was perfectly suitable for this and the value for money is good for the low season. The apartment is located in a new development and can be reached on foot in just over 10 minutes from Locarno train station. In the development, in addition to a large Migros, there is also a Denner for shopping - perfect for adding to our hiking facility, etc., again and again. Unfortunately, the supermarket is also the only downside: the delivery (about 06:00-07:00) to the Denner is on the street under our apartment. For people who are sensitive to noise - despite closed parties, the shattering is clearly audible - this could not be ideal for a holiday stay. The apartment is large, bright, friendly, well equipped. The reception was very kind. We will be happy to come back.

Very nice apartment and very cozy host!

The apartment was exactly what we needed to have a wonderful stay in Locarno. We were traveling as a family with 2 young kids and a dog. The apartment had everything we needed for eating in and relaxing with a beautiful view as well as being convenient for dog walks and outings to town, mountains or lake. The Falconry is just around the corner and was a highlight of our trip. We would definitely stay in the apartment on another vacation to Locarno.

We had a very nice stay with a total of 5 people! The location and equipment of the AirBnB leave nothing to be desired and the key holder is very friendly. We would book the AirBnB again anytime!

Beautiful spot, VERY clean and neat, easy communication. Great views!!! No AC so if you are heat sensitive be aware. We like the heat, and had the windows open for circulation of fresh air. A ceiling fan would go a long way here. There is a blow dryer so no need to pack, just bring your round brush to style. Bathroom and bed linen was ultra clean! Location is very close walk to the cute shops, restaurants and boat docks. Keep in mind when booking that this is located up on the mountain terrain so getting an Uber up there can be hit or miss - you may need to walk down off the hill with luggage to catch your ride. Walking up and down the stairs is fine, as long as you are ok with getting a little sweaty.

The accommodation is wonderfully located (with great views of the lake) and clean. Access by public transport is well possible, but the Postautos (stop very close to the property) do not run very often. The pool is wonderfully large, nice and warm and well maintained. The kitchen equipment is very good - apart from salt, however, it has no spices (oil must also be brought along yourself). The staff is very friendly and helpful. We would book the accommodation again anytime!

Great apartment with good amenities in a great location. Kitchen and bathroom well equipped. The apartment was a little noisy, we heard the neighbors well and a renovation soon would be appropriate. However, for this price for the season, great. Thank you for the smooth stay. I'd love to come back

One of the best apartments ever seen!! Everything is very modern and the staff is always ready to respond to your needs. We will definitely be back!!

We spent a lovely week here and enjoyed the house very much. It has all the appliances one needs and especially the garden was beautiful.

The path to the Pimpisnino is very winding and goes steep and narrow up the mountain/slope. It is good to pay attention to the edge stones. The view at the top pays off!

Beautifully view over the Lago and super close to Val Verzasca. We very much enjoyed our stay here, perfect for bringing our dog along :)

Casa Sole offers both the restless and the enterprising nature lover everything his heart desires. Surrounded by meadows where deer often show off, shaded by a walnut tree (with swing!), it is well endured in and in front of the quaint but modernly furnished stone house. We already miss the daily view of the Valle di Blenio and the mountains (with its paradise glacier). Nearby gurgelt a stream (ideal for our dogs), in front of the house there is an extremely small, little frequented hiking trail. For hikes, especially in the high mountains, a car is required and you have to accept some serpentines. But it's worth it; the landscape is fantastic!

Check in / check out simply organized, kitchen relatively well equipped. House is located a little off the road up the slope. The house is not directly accessible by car (parking but right down the slope). Basically no problem, but for someone with E.G. STROLLERS, it would be tedious to reach. Room rather ringing. Spacious living/dining room.

great house in quiet surroundings, perfect for public transport travelers. perfect location for alpine tours away from the tourist stream.

Great place is Ascona! 1 bedroom is private, the other one is connected to the living room and there's no real seperation. the pool is amazing and generally the house is perfcet just make sure you come prepared with food and toileteries as it's very basic.
