One of the Best Airbnb Stays We've Had! This villa was truly one of the best Airbnb properties we’ve ever stayed in. It’s a spacious house with all modern amenities, beautifully maintained and perfectly located. The views of the Black Forest from both the living room and bedroom were absolutely stunning. The large balcony with a dining table made it perfect for enjoying meals with a breathtaking view. The villa also has a beautiful garden and a lovely outdoor sitting area, perfect for relaxing in the peaceful surroundings. The private sauna and wellness area were a fantastic bonus — we wish we had booked a couple more days to enjoy it even more! Melanie was a wonderful and friendly host, making our stay even more comfortable. Just a note for future guests: having your own transportation is essential, as there’s no public transport nearby. We’re already looking forward to visiting again!

The stay was exactly as advertised. Clean and well-kept house, in a quiet location. There was everything you need for a few days to take care of yourself. I'd love to come back.

We wanted peace and quiet and that’s exactly what we got. Ines’ place is a dream. It’s located in a small village with a drive through the beautiful Schwarzwald forest. There is a small grocery store down the street with a meat market next to it and a bakery across from it. Not too far away are bigger grocery stores and shopping centers but we didn’t even find a need for those. The location is ideal for day trips to France and even Switzerland and returning to the tranquility of the house after a long day of exploring was wonderful. The host lives next door if you need anything but the rest of the house is surrounded by meadows and trees as far as the eye can see. The stars light up the sky at night, and sitting outside to watch them was a treat. Thank you for a wonderful time.

Beautiful house in a beautiful location. If you are looking for a place to discover the black forest: this is the place to be. Walks from the frontdoor, gorgeous views in any weather and plenty to do in the area. Well stocked kitchen if you like to cook. We had a great stay with our 5,5 year old son.

We had a great time at Stefanie's, the location was great, the views were amazing and we were lucky with the weather. The chalet itself was spacious for 6 peoples, very clean and we found everything we needed. We really liked the Faerber family who took care of the check-in and check-out. We would definitely recommend Stefanie's place for a short stay as it offers stunning views in both summer and winter and skiing and sledging in winter. We absolutely loved our stay in the Black Forest at Helen's place. About a quarter mile walk from the train station, with loads of hikes nearby and a few walkable restaurants as well. Helen also provides you a card for the train and bus which makes exploring the area easy. The hot tub and sauna were also amazing!

The accommodation was extremely quiet in a beautiful location with very good excursion opportunities. Very clean and very well equipped, also really nicely designed. Nice contact - a minor damage we had caused we were able to resolve quickly and easily after departure.

When we turned the key to this little gem in the castle, we immediately felt at home. Everything was decorated with so much love and taste that we felt welcome and secure from the first moment – a place to arrive and feel good. The apartment is wonderfully quiet and yet you can reach the charming Schluchsee with its numerous, delicious restaurants in a few minutes. A special tip: a trip to the impressive Wutachschlucht gorge – a pure nature experience! We'd love to come back and thank the very friendly hosts from the bottom of our hearts.

I was in the small apartment Nathalie for a longer hiking holiday. The apartment was very clean and despite the manageable size, it asked for everything I needed for my purposes. It is not only conveniently equipped, but very cozy, so you feel right at home. The sofa bed offered me plenty of comfort. A good idea to make this more comfortable with a topper as well. The property also has nice amenities such as the swimming pool, leisure and a gym. Even a washing machine and dryer can be used for a small amount and also here in the apartment everything was thought of, a clothes rack was also available. 😌 Those who went hiking for longer appreciate that very much. ☺️😉 Sam and Jenny were always available. Super friendly exchange! Everything described exactly, so no further questions came up. Thank you - happy to come back 🙂👍🏻

Anna's flat was lovely, it had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. The flat and all furnishings and equipment are in excellent condition. Underground parkin was very helpful in rainy weather. Anna was a pleasure to communicate with and the welcome gifts were a nice touch.

It was a great stay! We enjoyed every minute! Quiet location with amazing view, warm and pleasant home that is easy to ventilate and easy to heat. The sofas are a little weird, but it's very marginal compared to everything else. Every morning at 7:40 a.m. cows pass under the house and combined with the view it's just breathtaking! Definitely recommended!

Beautiful, lovingly renovated apartment in green and quiet surroundings. We felt immediately comfortable - everything super family and child-friendly. A wonderful place. And Sebastian is a proactive, friendly host - thanks for everything!

I had a wonderful stay at this place! The apartment was extremely clean and perfect for one person. The location was especially practical – ideal if, like me, you want to hike the Schluchtensteig. The path leads directly past the apartment, which is simply awesome for hiking enthusiasts. Also good bus connections from Lenzkirch. The host was always easy to reach, and check-in and check-out went completely smoothly. A big plus was the parking space right outside the door – very convenient. The apartment is cozy and tastefully furnished, without unnecessary frills. Everything you need was there, including a smart TV for relaxing evenings. A small downside: The dishwasher was unfortunately not usable, and only two hotplates worked. However, that was not a big problem for me, as I usually ate on the go anyway. Overall a clear recommendation – I'd come back anytime!

We were allowed to enjoy 3 very nice days with the lovely hosts. After a friendly welcome and a thorough check-in, we were well informed about the accommodation and all the possibilities. The pool and the nearby Rhine were ideal for cooling off. In addition to the comfortable bed, we also appreciated the other high-quality amenities. It was right from A-Z, thank you so much

Apartment was very comfortable and very clean. Easy walk to grocery and restaurants. We were able to walk/hike from the apartment to the castle ruins. It was convenient to have parking space at the building. Enjoyed the two porches. Note: the apartment is up two flights of stairs and the second bedroom is accessed by a ladder.

We felt right at home in the apartment. The kitchen is equipped with everything possible, there are many games and books - also a game of patience that we unfortunately could not solve 😅 In about 8 minutes at the bus stop, with the bus only running very sporadically on Sunday. On foot, however, you can also reach Paula-Modersohn Square in about 15-20 minutes and from there take the light rail towards Freiburg. Would definitely come again!

Great apartment, it was really clean and spacious. Very easy to find and access.

Very nice accommodation and very well-equipped. Had a good stay there and didn't miss a thing. The place was well appointed and decorated. Big plus for Nicole's small touches, I've rarely seen an Airbnb so well equipped! We just had to unpack our bags. I recommend it 200%, go there without a second thought!
