Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Le Grand-Village-Plage

Carmen is a great host, very responsive, helpful and friendly. Her place is fab, in a great location by the lagoon. As two families we enjoyed the privacy of the ensuite room with separate entrance. Having another ensuite and separate bathroom worked well for us. The main space with a little kitchen area at the back was well used too, opening out onto the terraces with ever changing views of the sea and amazing sunsets. The only issue, out of our host's control, was the bugs - mosquitoes weren't repelled by our repellent or deterred by long clothes, and the gnats and wasps were also persistent during the sunny weather. La Plage restaurant, two doors along, is welcoming for drinks and great seafood. There is an obstacle course and exercise route just along the prom for the kids as well as a baguette machine and another restaurant which rarely seemed to be open! Lidl, E Leclerc and Intermarche are within 10 mins drive. La Rochelle and Cognac within 1 hour. We would happily return.

Quintessential French Country We could not recommend a place more! We absolutely loved our stay at Celine's listing, which was perfect after a few very busy days in Paris sightseeing. We enjoyed the slower pace, the beautiful pool, the private BQ seating area, and the indoor space was perfectly decorated and suited our needs well. We're in France 12 days, and this was by far, the best leg of our journey. Be sure to take Celine's restaurant recommendation - it was the icing on the cake. And Celine was the best hostess we have ever met! Charming, in every way.

Florian est un hôte très sympa, le logement était fidèle à la description, il y'a tout le confort lumineux spacieux, propre, moderne. Je recommande 👌🤗

Magnifique séjour chez Antoine. La maison est superbe, au moins autant que sur les photos, au calme derrière le port dans une impasse, tout en étant à 5 minutes à pieds des commerces, restaurants et de la plage. La cour / terrasse est un vrai plus, spacieuse, agréable et bien végétalisée, de même que le chai pour stocker les affaires et laisser plus de places dans la maison. Literie confortable, cuisine hyper bien équipée, tout y est ! Plein de choses à faire à la Côtinière ou non loin, on ne s'ennuie pas, avec ou sans enfants. Antoine a été très réactif pour les infos, et de même pour Laurent qui nous a accueillis. Bref, super rapport qualité prix !

🌟 5 étoiles sans hésiter ! Nous avons passé un week-end absolument parfait ! Le logement était conforme à l’annonce, très propre, confortable et idéalement situé. L’accueil a été chaleureux et attentionné, avec plein de petites attentions qui ont fait la différence. Merci encore pour cette belle expérience, nous reviendrons avec plaisir !

Superbe maison idéalement située calme. La maison est très propre, avec tous les équipements nécessaires et joliment décorée. Jonathan est très arrangeant et réactif, idéal. Nous avons passé une excellent séjour en famille.

Séjour très agréable, logement très propre , bien équipé et bien agencé. On s'y sent bien. Le petit coin détente et repas dehors auprès de la forêt est très agréable. Promenades en forêt à proximité également superbe !

Le studio a été le logement idéal le temps d'un week-end. Il est situé dans un quartier calme et dispose de tout ce qu'il faut. Nous n'avons pas eu l'occasion de rencontrer Sophie mais elle a été très accueillante et bienveillante dans ses messages, tant avant, pendant, qu'après notre séjour. Nous recommandons Sophie sans hésitation

Vue imprenable sur la mer et sur un vieil arbre magnifique au lever et au coucher du soleil. Logement très propre et fonctionnel. Arrivée et départ facile grâce à la boite à clé et les échanges avec Clémence. Nous recommandons sans hésitation.

Ein sehr schönes Apartment mit Blick auf die Hafeneinfahrt- zwischen dem Ketten- und dem Laternenturm gelegen. Die Unterkunft befindet sich in einem schönen alten Haus aus weißem Kalkstein. Die Wohnung war durch viele Dachfenster gut zu belüften und die Schrägen machen die Wohnung sehr charmant. Es gibt in unmittelbarer Nähe eine Vielzahl von Restaurants, ein Strand ist in 5 Minuten Entfernung und die Innenstadt von La Rochelle ist ebenfalls in wenigen Minuten erreichbar. Wir sind mit dem Zug angereist und haben sehr Vieles zu Fuß oder mit dem Leih-Fahrrad unternommen. Die Unterkunft ist auch vom Bahnhof aus gut zu Fuß zu erreichen.

A very central and comfortable apartment on the first floor. The location at the market and close to good coffee shops and restaurants is perfect. The kitchen is well equipped, a nice shower and use of a plug in fan for hot evenings. The second bedroom is smaller but we didn’t use this. Baby facilities of a cot, changing table etc also very useful. Thank you Clotilde!

Corinne is such an amazing and responsive host, and her place was exactly what we needed. Would 100% recommend. A bit about the apartment: it looked exactly as described, comfortable and clean. Its location probably can’t be better since it was right by the pier of Saint-Martin, a very charming and calm village. Now, the real stars were the hosts. Corinne herself was very responsive and proactive and even though she wasn’t there at check-in, she arranged for a family member to not only be there and greet us, but also drive us from the La Rochelle train station to the island. She also called the bus company to confirm our bus time upon departure and was kind enough to allow a later check in so we had a place to leave our belongings while waiting for our train. Overall, amazing hosts. Thank you!

Nous avons passé un séjour des plus agréables dans l'appartement très bien situé de Marielle et Jean Claude. Nous avons pu profiter de leur superbe terrasse. La résidence est très bien entretenue et très calme. Leurs conseils pour visiter la région ont été d'une grande aide. Un grand merci à tous les deux pour les petites douceurs aussi. Maryse is a great host was there to meet us on arrival took time to show us around the apartment and also tips of where to eat and things to see. The apartment was clean and comfortable and very centrally located easy walking distance of everything.
