Monthly Rentals in Lawrence

We had a great stay at Neil’s place. We loved the location to campus. This was our second time staying in one of Neil’s places. He is a wonderful host! We will stay here again!

Stay here! I was in Lawrence for a week doing a program at KU. The cottage is a classic behind-the-house above-garage gem in a beautiful neighborhood of big Victorians and cobblestone style streets. You can also walk easily from this spot to downtown with its many great restaurants and cultural events. About a 30 minute pleasant walk to KU. I loved chatting with Mark and Suzie. They even called me after they found my book light in the bedding after I left! Why this place is great: parking in the alley next to the apartment; well-equipped, cute kitchen; AC and fans; ironing board and iron; blow dryer; Magic Bullet; tasteful leather furniture; sunny inside; sweet hosts with deep ties to the community. Pro tips: bring a sleep mask in the summer, go to Wheatfields for coffee and the Bourgeois Pig for other beverages! Keep the AC on when you leave if it’s going to be a hot Kansas day — heat does, in fact, rise! Can’t wait to return. This place was even nicer than the pics!

I needed a home for 30 days waiting on my apartment to be available, and Carlos's home was the perfect choice. Only about 4 blocks from the old town/downtown (nice walk), and the downtown had a wide variety of shops/restaurants/hangouts. The house is located in an older established neighborhood, that is quiet/peaceful. I arrived in town a few hours before checkin, and Carlos graciously allowed me to checkin early. I would recommend this home for travelers to Lawrence (or just passing through), the home is nicely decorated and provides all your needs
