Come and enjoy these cosy and private rooms in part of our house. 15 mins walk from rail link to Edinburgh. A ground floor entrance and kitchen leads up to a comfortable sitting room with television , plus a double bed bedroom , and a study/dressing room all with lovely views onto farm land and our own back garden. There is an internal bathroom with toilet, bath and electric shower. There is also access through our dining room to the west facing patio. The kitchen has all the basic necessities.

The cottage is well situated for exploring the area, being just 5 minutes drive from Rosslyn chapel, (which you can also walk to from the cottage by following the path through the glen.)The Pentland hills are only 10 minutes drive, and it takes less than 30 minutes to get to edinburgh city centre. It is a great place to come home to after a day of hillwalking ,working or sight seeing.

Unique, eclectic apartment on the outskirts of Edinburgh allowing for easy travel into the centre whilst benefiting from peaceful surroundings. King size bed, smart TV, and all essential amenities. There is a bus stop at the end of the street with the 3 and the 29 taking you into the centre of Edinburgh every 5-10 mins at peak times (takes ~30 mins), as well as night buses that run throughout the night. This is usually my home so note that some of my things will be here :)

I highly recommend Claire as a host. She goes above and beyond to give her guests a nice, enjoyable and relaxing stay. On my first day of arrival, she thoughtfully took me to local supermarket, so I could buy basics for breakfast etc. She also showed me where the bus stop was too. Claire lives in a very quiet area and the bus stop is only a 5 minute walk. So the best of both worlds…quiet, calm and relaxing place to chill and a short walk and short bus ride to city centre to explore Edinburgh. Claire gave me a key during my stay, so had the freedom to come and go as I pleased. I really enjoyed my stay with Claire. She’s so lovely, friendly and helpful. We got on really well straight away. The bedroom and en-suite bathroom were even better than the photos. The bed in particular was very comfortable . The price paid was amazing value too. I’ll definitely been staying with Claire again when I visit Edinburgh again.

The listing was as advertised. It is located in a residential area 30 minutes by bus from the city center. It was very quiet. The space was very clean and tidy. The bed was comfortable and it was very nice to have a private bathroom. Elaine was welcoming and accommodating. I would recommend this place for a stay in Edinburgh.

Ivana and Tosin were great hosts. They were friendly and accomodating. The room was extremely comfortable and clean. The bed felt like sleeping on a cloud. Edinburgh is 30mins by car. The bus stop is just a minute away but we didnt end up using it. They also kept in touch often to make sure we were well settled. It was nice chatting with Ivana about travel and cats! We will definitely return on our next visit to Edinburgh!

I really enjoyed meeting Mairi and staying with her family in their home. She was very friendly and helpful, even letting me borrow a flask to take my pre-made lunch out on a day trip. The location was beautiful and private yet also very close to a bus stop with several buses that went into town. I appreciated being able to use the kitchen and laundry facilities as well. This was a great place and a lovely stay.

We had a fantastic stay with Susanne and Kilian in their lovely home. Susanne was a kind, considerate, and genuinely friendly host who made us feel completely at ease from the moment we arrived. Breakfast was a real treat, with a thoughtful spread including fresh fruit, jams, bread, eggs, and a lovely variety of Nespresso coffees. It was great to see a selection of milks provided to cater for different dietary needs. The room and home were clean, tidy, and impressively well-organised. There were lots of thoughtful touches—locked drawers for valuables, hotel-style shampoo and body wash in the bathroom, and even umbrellas provided for wet days out. We felt very well looked after throughout our stay, and wouldn't hesitate to return. Highly recommended!
