Vacation rentals with a patio in Lanchester

we had an amazing stay. the hosts were brilliant with directions, local things to do. we were staying for a wedding close by. They offered us a lift to save a taxi fare ( not needed but very much appreciated) pointed us in the direction of the river so my wife could go for a wild swim. the dogs are great and came with us whilst we were outside and super friendly. the accommodation was perfect for our needs and we will definitely return for another peaceful stay in Northumberland. we left super early to go collect the kids after the wedding and we were given bacon rolls in lovely cheese bread bun. so nice and got us through the long drive. 10/10 stay thank you so much for hosting us. Anjumunara’s place is very well located to quick and easy access to Newcastle City Centre both by car and Metro, and also the A1 and A69 for access to the wider Northumberland area. On arrival check in was easy, and having off street parking right outside the annex was excellent. We experienced no noise at all during our stay and the area is very quiet. Everything inside was as described and spotlessly clean. The kitchen has everything you need and we found the bed very comfy. We enjoyed a lovely stay in Newcastle thanks to Anjumunara’s place.

The perfect place! We are often so disappointed with the lack of effort put into places we've stayed, and it was such a dream to find Sara's place totally exceeded expectations! It was cosy, clean, had lovely decoration, even homemade cookies on arrival. It had everything we needed and the patio area in the garden was gorgeous. For once it actually felt worth the money, we could have stayed a week! It felt like sara really cared about putting a personal touch into the room. Thankyou 🥰

Fabulous apartment in a fabulous location. Spacious and tastefully decorated. Lovely little garden with beautiful roses, overlooking the river. Lots of parking. Pub overlooking a marina only 5 mins walk away. Great pubs, bakeries and restaurants 5 mins drive away in the quirky and atmospheric Ouseburn area. the quayside a short walk. Jordan was very responsive. It was our son’s wedding and he kindly left a bottle of fizz. Highly recommend - 5 star all round. Would definitely stay here again.

Dionne’s house is beautiful and super peaceful. We enjoyed sitting outside for breakfast with the view over the rolling hills.

Miriam is an excellent host! She was so helpful with recommendations on the local area and how to get around. Her apartment was spotless, looked just like the photos and felt so at home. She replied to messages so quickly and did all she could to help. When we come to Newcastle again Miriam and her apartment will be the first place we look for ☺️

We had not been to the area before but were delighted with the accommodation and with Cullercoats. The cottage was stylish and luxurious, ticking all the boxes for a really comfortable bed, great shower, well-equipped, excellent kitchen and everything you needed for a short stay or a longer one. The upstairs ensuite bedroom had a lovely sea view and was really peaceful. The downstairs double room and separate bathroom were practical as we had family visiting. The neighbourhood was quiet and friendly and the location was superb - the cottage was minutes from the beach, a small supermarket and the Metro. You could walk from the door into Whitley Bay or Tynemouth. The beach was excellent and we swam in the sea. The coastal pathway between Whitley Bay and North Shields with its separate cycle lanes will be a wonderful asset and parts of it are already completed. We settled in really well and very quickly and were a bit sad to leave. Thank you to Vikki.

I was traveling for work , so the location wise it was great for me . There is an Aldi walking distance away so easy to get food . Amy kitchen has loads of herbs and spices which made cooking so much easier . parking is just to the side of the house . there is a bus stop just outside the door which can take you into town . The place is lovely and clean home from home with everything you need for a stay

lovely house,comfy beds. loved the under floor heating in the breakfast kitchen, everything you could possibly need supplied. very responsive host. Close to Newcastle for events etc

Lovely spot for a family get away. House was just as described, amazing bathrooms and bedrooms, perfect garden for the dog. Lovely village and central for exploring the area - just what we needed.

what a great little place the Anchorage is, such a quirky place to stay ( not very wheelchair accessible) perfect place to chill and relax on the small balcony with a great view, then after the sunset..drop downstairs to your private hot tub.The added bonus of the pub next door ( so quiet never heard a thing) such a friendly pub too , great meeting with the locals who were all friendly.Tony and Jane were the perfect hosts, there if you needed anything but never bothered you, great with them living so close... definitely recommend this property to anyone.

This house really was home from home with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. It was spotlessly clean and everything was beautifully presented with some lovely personal touches. There was plenty of useful information about local amenities, activities or walks to do near by. Highly recommend a stay in Stanhope.

Janet was an excellent host for our long weekend away in Durham. She accommodated our need for an early check in and an extra bed and she made us feel right at home by leaving some wine, biscuits and coffee pods. The house was very homely and clean and we had no issues with getting in and out. It was the perfect home for our holiday and we very much enjoyed our stay. The only feedback I would give was that we were a group of four but we were only given three towels for showering. Otherwise everything was brilliant :)

Lovely town, beautiful walks on the doorstep, plenty of food options, Mary gave great instructions and recommendations and the apartment was just as it is in the photographs, everything worked and well stocked kitchen. Appreciated the biscuits, milk and tea and coffee after a long drive. Will rebook to visit with my daughter in the future. Thank you Mary.

Melanie's place was amazing - we were blown away when we walked in. The bedrooms are a good size, and the living room had amazing views of the sea - shame the sun only behaved on our last day!! This apt is right in the centre of everything, but equally, you don't really hear any noise from the outside once you're in and have closed the doors, it's a great bit of escapism. Melanie was really responsive to any questions we had. Also - make sure you visit the Lamp Room for breakfast and take advantage of the 50% off - breakfast was amazing, everyone enjoyed what they had, and the staff were lovely. We will be back xx

What lovely hosts Rod and Laura are!! The place was lovely and clean - very cosy. The hosts went above and beyond to make our stay very comfortable. Knowing it was my wedding, they even left a sweet note on the white board and balloons. 100% would stay again!

The is the second time I’ve stayed at Ruth’s Airbnb. Ruth is a fantastic host. Great communication and very responsive. Everything about the accommodation was perfect. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Enjoyed the use of the property, it was near the beach and funfair, loads of restaurants at the end of the road and was in a quiet cul de sac. We enjoyed walking the short distance to the town centre and also to the ferry. Great location for all ages.

We stayed in this lovely apartment for a long weekend celebrating with family who live locally. The apartment was perfect, great location, clean, and just want we needed. The hot tub was a complete win with our children. The courtyard is private and a real sun trap. We will be back.

We’ve been to the area a few times and from now on will always check if Katie’s place is available. So beautifully and thoughtfully decorated, cosy and in an outstanding location with free parking! Right by Cullercoats Bay, and near great places for breakfast, coffee, food later in the day or drinks later in the evening. We had the best time. Katie’s communication was very proactive. She gave us great recommendations, and made us feel very at home.
