Vacation rentals with a washer and dryer in Lake Lure

We spent 3 days at Dawn and Ron’s Asheville home. Their space was very clean, smelled nice, and had every convenience you could possibly need. Unfortunately it was rainy during our trip so we didn’t take advantage of the outdoor amenities like the patio/grill or the goats, but they did greet us with wagging tails as we came and went! Loved the waffle bar and complimentary coffee - such nice touches that made breakfast a breeze! Also loved that they provided toiletries and washer/dryer. This space provided all the comforts of home, about 15 minutes to all the AVL activities. Dawn and Ron were very communicative and kind hosts. Would recommend their home to anyone!

Had a great stay...the location is outstanding if you're looking for an in-town place! I spent too much time at The Station for coffee and adult drinks! Katey's place is very clean and the kitchen is very well stocked. I would absolutely stay here again!

Our stay was great! We flew in to Asheville for a concert at the Orange Peel & we decided to stay at this airbnb. Not only was the cost a great price, it was only 20-25 minuets from the Asheville airport. The airbnb was just tucked away enough that you felt like you where a long ways from town, but reality it was only 5 minuets to town/grocery stores, gas stations, food places. The airbnb felt very cozy and had front fow parking to make it easy to carry our luggage in and out. The place was super clean, no bugs, weird smells, trash or dirty linens. The hosts of the airbnb were the most responsive I’ve ever experienced! Would recommend and stay again 100%!

Our stay at Hiker’s Hideawqy was perfect. The apartment was comfortable and had everything we needed for coffee in the morning, meal prep, and tea in the evening. It’s a great location too. I’m sure we will be back!

Schuyler’s place is absolutely beautiful and very comfortable. The view is gorgeous! We will definitely be back soon!

This was a roomy one bedroom apartment with a full kitchen. Tonya was very responsive to my texts, whenever I had questions or needed anything. There is a lovely view of the apple orchards and mountains. The bed is very comfortable!

Brittany and Myron were extremely prepared and super friendly! They made the check-in process so easy and flexible, we didn’t have to cut into our plans to check-in. Everything was exactly as advertised and cleaner than any place I’ve ever stayed before. Brittany was above and beyond welcoming! We will absolutely be back here again in the future. Hot tub is 10/10 and didn’t run into any black bears! Would recommend to anyone, especially for the price!

Such an awesome space and an amazing house! The couches and bed were incredibly comfortable — we felt right at home from the moment we walked in. The attention to detail in the decor was just beautiful; every corner of the house had a thoughtful, welcoming touch. You can definitely tell that Staci and Tricia have Southern Hospitality on lock! One of our favorite parts was walking the peaceful path around the lake. We saw turtles, geese, and even visited the nearby bird sanctuary — it was like a little nature retreat. A perfect stay in every way. Highly recommend!

We loved our stay. The hosts were super responsive, and went above and beyond. Finally, an airbnb that looks like the photos and is as described! Clean, bright, and comfortable. Plus, they totally understood my chemical sensitivities and made sure I was safe from artificial fragrances from laundry and cleaning products. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a great time! We had an issue with figuring out the TV and Liz came down to fix it within a matter of minutes. The firepit was very relaxing and there’s a ton to do a few minutes down the road. We spent more time near Hendersonville than in Asheville, which was a pleasant surprise!

Heather and Bob’s Air BnB was beautiful and private. It was the cleanest place I have stayed in and they provided nice treats for us. The local recommendations were great. The communication from Heather and Bob was perfect. We would definitely stay here again.

Our family of four (including two older teens and two dogs) loved Diane’s place. The location could not have been better. We had a beautiful view of the mountains from all of the many decks and outdoor living spaces, and were in an ideal cove for swimming and paddle boarding. The house has everything we needed and much more. We never needed to leave except for groceries. Our kids preferred it to our usual beach vacation. The kitchen and appliances were spotless. Throw blankets, pet protectors, pool towels, life jackets and every kitchen item you could imagine, the home provided it all. Diane was extremely gracious and proactive in communication. If we plan a future lake vacation, we will certainly look for this lovely Lake Lure home again, and anything Diane is hosting.

This place was perfect! We felt so comfortable and relaxed. It smelled good, looked good and was really clean! The hot tub was easy to use and we took advantage each night the weather allowed. We didn’t want to leave and will absolutely stay again! Graham was very responsive and helpful. We had not a single thing we didn’t like or wished was different. If I could give it 100 stars I would. Oh yes, easy storage to unpack and “live” here for a week!

Our family is huge so it’s really hard to find a house large enough to host all of us. Daniel’s house was GORGEOUS and so spacious, the photos did not do this place justice. The upstairs was beautiful with large windows that let natural light in. We did encounter a mama bear and her baby, but Daniel warned us every day during our stay to keep trash in and be aware of the bears. We were secured inside the house and got to watch through the windows. It was an amazing experience for the kids. The golf cart was a game changer. We didn’t have to move our vehicles a lot. The amenities were perfect for us and the kids. Two pools, mini golf, and pickleball was all we needed to stay busy the entire weekend. Lake Lure was closed, but that was told to us weeks before the trip. We will definitely come back when Lake Lure opens. 10/10 vacation!!!!!!

We booked this place for the gorgeous views, and it delivered! We had a peaceful stay here. The house is so beautiful and clean, and the kitchen was stocked with everything I needed to prepare home cooked meals. There are also beautiful and fun hikes in the area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

We normally do a beach vacation but found this house and decided to change it up. House was great for younger kids. Plenty to do inside to keep them entertained. Rumbling Bald was beautiful and the amenities there were great. Jackie was wonderful to deal with, she spent time to send us recommendations for things in the area based exactly on what we were looking for. Best host for sure! We will definitely make another trip out to Lake Lure. They have a long way to go to get back up to 100% after the hurricane, but everyone there was super friendly and welcoming despite what they’ve been through. If you are thinking about going to the area, do it! Support local businesses and help them to get better than before!

We stayed in the cabin for a death in our family March 2025 and wanted a place clean, relaxing and quiet and we got just that!! We did have a "tiny" issue but when Tamra found out she was on it, and it was corrected quickly and we even talked on the phone, and she was the sweetest person. The Cabin was clean and comfy and so relaxing, and the beds were so comfortable also. We would definitely come back to stay & recommend it to anyone!!

First time visit to Asheville and we couldn’t have asked for, and received, a more perfect place to see it all. Once we parked our car we never saw it again, other than a day visit to the Biltmore estate. Otherwise our entire 4 night stay in this property allowed us to experience Asheville on foot, right outside our door. Highly recommend this place!!

I really loved the location, my room and bathroom were perfect. They were responsive, and quickly, whenever I had a question. Their place felt like a second home for the moment. I loved it!

Great location. As noted in other reviews if you are comfortable with some steps this is a great place. The elevator does work fine as an alternative to the stairs, it is on the smaller side though. We used the steps all of the time. The unit is as described, 2 bedrooms with enough space for up to 4 people. We mainly used the space to eat and sleep in since you are in Asheville and the whole purpose is to be outside. It is in the middle of downtown, everything seemed to be within a 4 to 5 block walk. The parking garage across the street was extremely convenient. If we could have added one thing to the experience it would have been a TV in the master bedroom as it is enjoyable to have 2 different tv's in case people choose to watch different items prior to going to sleep.

Absolutely perfect for our needs! The space was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with all the necessities, making our stay stress-free. The host truly thought of everything and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. She was incredibly responsive and accommodating, always quick to answer any questions we had. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay—highly recommend!

Loved the place. Right in the middle of downtown and in a very close walking distance to everything. We brought our two kids (both under 4) and there was a lot of space for them to play. The balcony space was awesome with a great view. Parking was convenient and easy to access. I would definitely have this spot in mind for my next trip to Asheville!

One of the best rentals we have stayed in. The location is wonderful. We walked to great restaurants and shops. We will definitely rent this one again.
