The loft was spacious and comfortable and the views from the loft were beautiful. The directions were easy to follow, and we found the place with no problems. We had the opportunity to meet the host and talk with her and pet the hounds on the second day. You might want to stop at the store before you arrive and pick up a bag of peeled and cut baby carrots to give to the horses at the gates of each fenced area on the ranch. They appeared anxious to come greet us and seemed to enjoy them and the attention.

Cillies place was great. Beautiful setting and a nice rustic feel. We had plenty of space for three teenaged boys.

Great crash pad....wished I would've arrived earlier in the evening to enjoy the evening air and surroundings tho, but that was my fault for dilly-dallying on the way up 🤦‍♀️😆😆

A quiet, private and beautiful farm house with a big secured back yard with surrounding farm animals. The house felt very comfortable and homey. Great place for children or a romantic getaway. Holly was an amazing host. She made sure we were comfortable and always answered messages. We will definitely be back!

We so enjoyed Karolyn’s place and her responsiveness to our last minute. Request to stay there. It is a bit out of the way but it’s gorgeous Country and well worth the drive. The room was lovely and her willingness to let us use the kitchen made a big difference to us.

Our stay at Kristie’s was just perfect. Quiet, peaceful, away from town, beautiful sunlight pouring into kitchen in the morning, and Kristie and Scott were always responsive to questions if needed. Would definitely book again! My Companion and I were in Durango for some motorcycle and mountain biking. The parking in front of the Airbnb was large enough to park my SUV and small 10 foot box trailer; which was very convenient and helpful! The house was clean, comfortable and perfect for us. Full kitchen with most of the utensils and items you might need., including dishwasher, stove, microwave, and coffee is via a Keurig machine which was easy and convenient. There is also a gas grill out back which we used a few times and it worked great. Wifi is consistent, albeit a little slow if you are used to very high speeds. I also ordered a few things off of Amazon, and Kristie generously provided the shipping address, so it was no problem getting a package delivered if needed. Recommend!!

Holly was such a great host that I stayed for another month! The location is great, the area was quiet, and my dog loved it too!

This was my third or fourth stay here-it is the perfect place to stay when visiting our daughter and her family-close to the town, beautiful setting and super clean. Krii is an excellent host!

Things to know: On cold nights, you might need to crank the heat on the remote up to 80. It was pretty chilly the first night, and I was too tired from driving to mess with it. I did this the second night and was nice and toasty. Bathroom is a little small if you need to get ready for an event and you may want to bring your own towels. I'm happy to report I did not get murdered, despite the hospitable book on murder as the first book you see on the shelf, lol. Hosts were super responsive! The beautiful countryside cannot be beat; the place was extremely peaceful and quiet! The chickens roam freely and are super sweet, as are the donkey and goat who stay in the back pen. Props to anyone making an effort to farm! Would definitely stay again :)

My husband and I had a wonderful stay. It was a great place for our dogs and loved all the animals! Marianne was super nice, a great host, and made us feel welcomed right away. Perfect home away from home for us and we hope we get another chance to stay at the Story Tree Ranch when we travel back to Colorado soon!

Such a peaceful, quiet place . Beautiful country surroundings. The home is SO very clean and comfortable. Nothing has been overlooked for your comfort . We truly loved our time at Kim’s place . An easy drive to town .

We came for a graduation and I had several family members stay with us...they all enjoyed the space and especially the game room downstairs. The property was spacious and beautiful. No issues with any of our stay! A lovely home.

For the past decade, I’ve been hosting large K9 events in Bayfield, Colorado. I’m always looking for the perfect place to house our certifying officials in these events. This location this host was above and beyond anything I’ve experienced over the last decade. They were able to go and enjoy Durango and come back to a nice peaceful place also after a day of officiating these events, they were able to go to a place that was private, calm, quiet and serene. In fact, this was the 5th time I have hosted this particular certifying official and they said this was the best location ever. I highly recommend this location if you want to experience everything Bayfield and Durango and the surrounding area has to offer and returned to a place that offers nice quiet peaceful evening and mornings. The birds will sing you to sleep

The cabin was cute, cozy and very clean. The bedrooms had plenty of blankets for the cool nights. The kitchen was well equipped with all the essentials. The loft bedroom has a low roof and is probably best suited for children. The central heating was not working, but there were space heaters that worked very well. The scenery was spectacular, with the river running literally next to the back porch with the gorgeous mountains as a backdrop. It is a short and scenic drive to get to other resort areas like Telluride. We had a wonderful time there and would love to be back!

We rented the entire property for a low key vacation over the holidays. Joseph let us check in a bit early and was very helpful with recommendations. The highlight had to be the animals- it was so fun to experience such a different type of vacation than our norm. It kind of feels like elevated camping/cabin life while you’re there. Lots of awesome places to go within 10-20 minutes too!

Sue and Ken were the kindest! Our dogs LOVED getting to spend time outside and there was so much space for us to relax. One of the highlights was the thoughtful care basket waiting for us on arrival, filled with snacks and local goodies-it truly made us feel welcomed. The location was peaceful/quiet and communication was seamless. Sue and Ken genuinely cared about making sure we had a great stay. Will definitely be coming back!

Jennifer's place felt like home. It is one of the most peaceful and relaxing places you will find. We thoroughly enjoyed the spacious and quiet surroundings. Loved sitting by the river on the Adirondack chairs! Jennifer provided us with an extensive list of places to visit and things to do, it contributed to a very pleasant stay. We will definitely be staying here again!

It's just great! Over the past 2 years and more than 30 AIRBNB rentals, this is the 3rd place I've wanted to return to. Clear. Nicely. Comfortable. And if there were any small questions, I don't even want to talk about it.

We had so much fun staying at Holly's place. She is a wonderful host, even going to the point of bringing us a fresh bag of coffee beans and a dozen fresh eggs! The home if very comfortable and as a coffee lover, I particularly appreciated the espresso maker and grinder. The beds were very comfortable and in general the place is very homey. The location is beautiful and peaceful. We have two dogs and the fenced yard was perfect for them to run in. Durango is a fun place with lots to do, and Holly thoughtfully provides recommendations in her check-in book and on her website. She is also just a text away for any questions. We absolutely loved our two weeks in Durango, and on our next trip, Casa Luna will be our first choice.

Beautiful ,quiet,great atmosphere, very well decorated for the wonderful farm house it was. Would recommend to anyone. Had family in Durango and it was wonderful entertaining here with them. Thank you Lauren
