Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Kungshamn

We stayed at Malin's, in a large house with a slightly outdated decoration but which has all the comforts and especially sheets as well as towels (rather rare in Sweden) . The beds are very comfortable and the veranda is very good. The house is about a 30min walk from the city center but close to a great market. Malin was flexible with our arrival and we thank her.

We had a great stay at Fjällbacka. Beautiful view and we felt very welcome. Only stayed one night, but would happily come back!

A very cozy house in nice quiet surroundings. Short distance to great swimming areas and Svaberg, and about 4-500 m to the grocery store. Approximately 1 km down to Smögen with shops and restaurants. Great that we could borrow bikes, but it is also nice to walk down to Smögen. Anna is a nice host who responds quickly to all inquiries. Recommended.

We had an amazing stay at Maj-Lis's place at Smögen! Her Airbnb is perfectly located, just a stone's throw from the dock, with easy access to all the cozy restaurants and shops. Despite the central location, it was surprisingly quiet and peaceful, especially now in the after season. The apartment was very fresh, well equipped and pleasant, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Maj-Lis was an excellent host – very helpful and quick to respond to our questions. She made sure we felt warmly welcomed and even gave us some local tips that really elevated our experience. We can really recommend a visit here and will not hesitate to book again when we return to Smögen. Thank you Maj-Lis for a wonderful stay!

A lovely accommodation for a family weekend!

Johanna is a loving landlady and has the best tips in the area. The apartment was as described in the listing. It is very centrally located, so everything is within minutes of walking. We enjoyed our stay and say goodbye!

Beautiful house with lots of windows so you have a nice view and lots of light. Anything you need is present. Then he welcomed us and gave us tips for walks. The island is beautiful and quiet. We saw deer and foxes every day during our walks. The seafood restaurant is nearby and recommended. Don't forget to bring some groceries because there is no store on the island.

We were a group of 10 friends from different countries and came for a long weekend together. We had a great time at Annika and Jonas’ place. Their house is beautiful and well arranged, modern but still with the vibes from its history. The house and its surroundings have many amenities (hot tub, sauna, kayaks, …) and it was great to be so close to the water and nature. It’s also easy to do groceries in the nearby town. Going by public transportation may be possible but a car would be recommended. I can only highly recommend this house for a group of friends or with a family. We loved it!!

We had a lovely stay at the guesthouse in beautiful Smögen

This is a really excellent place. The apartment was really nice, clean, and cosy. The host had made excellent descriptions, and they were really nice. The surroundings were also really nice and quiet. There were many places to walk, a lot of nature. There are only positive things to say about this place :)

We had a very nice stay at Helen's place. Helen is a very friendly and warm-hearted woman who was always approachable and took care of. The apartment is in a very nice large house with a well-kept garden. From the large terrace, you have a great view of a field, where you can also see deer and sometimes even moose. The apartment has everything you need for a few days. The location is quiet and good to explore Hunnebostrand, Smögen, Bohus Malmön, etc. (Everything maximum about 15 minutes away by car). I recommend it!

When I booked, I was stuck for the proximity to Smögenbryggan and guess if it was close; it was almost around the corner of the house & right out on the jetty. Perfect service and treatment. Quiet and quiet location in a beautiful setting. Feel free to come back here again to both the place and the accommodation.

A nice place, welcoming. Be careful because you can bump your head on the low ceiling/door. Beds are excellent! Great base for trips in the area . If you book the ground floor, the apartment above you may be noisy. In our case, a child playing with marbles, and you can clearly hear that. Fortunately, it was only rented for 1 night, so the 2nd day we had no problems.

We were ourselves during New Year's week, so we were offered to use both homes. Stayed in the fall up, but sat in the larger living room one floor down when we watched TV. Very accommodating host couple. Very happy with our stay

The place and location was as described.- We liked it and felt very comfortable. Unfortunately, there were some cleaning issues and you might want to consider whether cleaning by vacation guests is the best solution.

We have had a great time for 5 days in Gustav's great apartment on Rösholmen! The apartment felt like home, and had everything we needed and more. Lovely beds, practical and stylish decor, ingenious, hidden solutions to storage, and breathtaking views from the porch. Staying on an islet felt both limiting and liberating at the same time, as you rely on a boat to get to and from, but that was also what allowed you to completely relax and just enjoy your stay. The Zita boats went every half hour and were a great experience in itself. Recommend buying a clip card if you are going to be there for several days and want to go on excursions with the whole family. There was a lot of wind while we were there, but we got to take a day trip to beautiful Smögen with the Zita boat, spent a wonderful and long-awaited, almost quiet sunny day at the beach and the bathing jetty at Rösholmen, and otherwise enjoyed the sun and boating life from the porch.

Spent a weekend in the apartment which was in perfect walking distance to both harbor and grocery store. Smooth with associated parking. The apartment was bright and fresh, just what you want in early spring! Everything we needed was in the apartment. We are very satisfied

This was well worth the price to stay here. It's located at the top of a hill, overlooking a bay with beautiful cliffs and wetlands. You can have your dinner watching the sunset or breakfast watching the sunrise, and it's just as easy to view from inside the living room as in the backyard, or even the master bedroom. Every convenience is available, including laundry, dishwasher, cooking and dining acoutrements. The beds are comfortable, and it even has a sauna, though I didn't use it. For me, the location was beyond perfection. Total peace and quiet, without being too far from civilization. Having a car will make life easiest here, but it's actually not so far from a bus stop that goes to the wonderful island Marstrand, or in to Ytterby & Kungälv where you can get anything you need. Nearby are lots of great nature watching sites, and trails. Plus the ocean is a 5 minute walk down the hill. I love this place!

Super nice apartment, with a great view.

We recently spent a few days in Emma’s charming house and had a delightful experience. The house is spacious yet cozy, impeccably clean, and equipped with all the essentials. The dining area is beautifully designed and adds a lovely touch to the space. We appreciated the convenience of having private parking. The surroundings are peaceful, with a supermarket nearby, and stunning stone formations just a five-minute drive away. Emma is an outstanding host—responsive, hospitable, and always ready to assist. We highly recommend this place to anyone seeking a peaceful and comfortable retreat.
