Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Koukaki, Athens

Loved everything about our stay in this home. It was perfect for our family. I especially enjoyed the decor and lighting.

Three of us stayed in Panna's wonderfully equipped apartment for 4 nights in June, 2025. The apartment has everything we could possibly want It's spacious, charming, and clean. The kitchen is superbly equipped with cooking equipment and serving pieces. The roof deck washing machine had laundry supplies. The 2 balconies, one with table and chairs, give views over the quiet street. Panna replied instantly to any question. We followed Panna’s printed suggestions for walks in the area and for a trip on the Tram to the beach. The Tram stops by the nearby Neos Kosmos METRO stop. The METRO stop Neos Kosmos is a short walk and is 2 stops from Acropolis and 3 from the Syntagma stop to the airport. We arrived in Athens close to midnight and took the bus to Syntagma. Uber from there was about 7Euros. For shopping there is Carrefour as well as a few other grocery stores nearby. Check in is with a lock box, so easy. This is a wonderful place with a superb host. Who could want more.

Fantastic Airbnb experience from start to finish, Kleio has excellent communication, super friendly and helpful, the apartment is beautiful, very thoughtfully designed and contains everything you could ever think of for a home from home. I would recommend to anyone and would certainly book again got our next trip to Athens.

Giannis was the best host! Friendly, communicative and helpful, he provided lots of information and tips about the area and Athens. His love for the city and his home was really apparent. The house is quiet, clean and full of art and nice touches, he is obviously creative and it was refreshing to stay in a place with real character! The best thing was the view from the terraces, with the acropolis and city laid before you. Watching the sunset and the lights come on at night was a highlight of our trip! We loved the village feel of the location, walkable to the centre or an inexpensive taxi ride home up the hill. Thank you Giannis, you’re great :)

It is very convenient location. Apartment is very nice and clean. Isabella keeps in touch well and very detail instructions. She always responds timely and keeps us transition smoothly! I do appreciate her hospitality and definitely recommend this apartment to my friends and I would love to come back. 5 stars for her host and facilities! MP from USA

This was a great stay for the price! A nice walk into the city center, (15 min) but the restaurants around the corner are way better than in the city center and better prices for the quality! Very local restaurants! I only wish the WiFi had been better, was very spotty

Katerina’s place was very close to the park area near the acropolis as well as a few cafes slightly out of the crowded part of town. She was very responsive and was even able to let us check in early, which was a huge help. The slight problem with Wi-fi was far outweighed by her customer service. I would certainly stay with her again!

Thank you very much for hosting Mirto. He made our first Airbnb experience perfect. The area around the house was safe and within walking distance to important areas and very close to the subway. The house was so clean that it seemed like everything was prepared for us. His communication is very good, the instructions are very neat and he has every scenario, and he is very friendly, he explained every question very well and responded quickly. We'd like to stay at Mirton's house again on our next vacation in Greece.

This was a lovely apartment in the perfect location to explore Athens on foot. The neighborhood had an intimate feel with a large selection of restaurants, markets, and more nearby. The apartment was spotless and modern, had comfortable beds, and the hosts were very responsive and helped with info and an airport shuttle. Highly recommend!

This was a wonderful apartment with a great location. The streets below the apartment are very quiet at night, even though they are vibrant during the day. It was an easy walk to the Acropolis Museum and the entry to the Acropolis near there. We enjoyed the restaurants recommended by Magda.

We felt very comfortable here. The apartment was clean and cozy. The two hosts were super flexible, helpful and accommodating (small gifts were ready and once they even brought us fresh chocolate croissants). Right around the corner are a lot of great restaurants and the Acropolis can be reached in 10-15 min on foot. Gladly come back :)

We had a fabulous stay for 10 days at Venice’s wonderful apartment. We loved the location with lovely restaurants, 2 supermarkets and bakery nearby. The apartment is comfortable, spacious and clean and tidy. Venice was lovely, she responded quickly to my inquiries and met us on checkin which was so nice. She left some milk and an array of snacks, drinks, condiments etc for us to use. We felt right at home and were sad to leave. Koukaki a perfect spot, far enough away from the busy areas of the Plaka etc but easy to walk most places. A metro and buses around the corner. Highly recommended.

It was one of my best stays ever. Our hosts were super friendly, flexible and responsive. One of the highlights to me was surprisingly not the view (although that was fantastic as well) but the cleanliness and the soft sheets on the bed. Definitely will stay here next time! Thank you so much!

I can’t recommend Evangelos’ place enough! This was the perfect place for my husband and I on our short 3-day stay in Athens. The location was great, very walkable to many cafes and restaurants. The walk to the Acropolis was uphill so we would get a quick/cheap taxi there, and walk back to the Airbnb (~15 min walk). We felt very safe in the neighborhood, there were always people around. The hot tub was such a great place to relax after long days of walking, and the view of the Parthenon was just lovely - especially at night. Finally, Evangelos was so easy to communicate with and answered all of my questions. He also connected us with a great driver Petros, who picked us up from our cruise port and brought us to the airport. We had a fantastic stay in Athens and everything from check in to check out went very smoothly thanks to Evangelos!

We had a wonderful time. Check in instructions were easy but getting used to opening the door was a little tricky at first. Our host was very responsive and helped us with our check in. The apartment was very spacious and private. The neighborhood is fantastic, walkable, and a great place to mix with the locals. We loved our times in Athens and will definitely return!

This one-bedroom apartment located on the first floor is pretty nice! The host was communicative and very kind. She lives close by so it's easy to find her if you need anything. The bed was comfortable. The shower system is a bit old school though, you have to turn on the heater and wait for it. My favorite part is the neighborhood. It's very close to restaurants and pastry shops. It's a safe area.

Hello to everyoneone who plan to travel to Athens, Greece. You can not go wrong with Loannis' place. This beautiful room is very clean, comfortable, everything is ready for you when get inside. Mini market is at the next door, restaurants are every where around. Only 20 minutes walk to all monuments. Loannis responds very quick to answer all your questions. Highly recommend for everyone. Such a beautiful space, and so near to everything I wanted to see. (Koukaki is my favorite Athens neighborhood.) Lila and the team were just right on top of everything. Highly recommended!

We really loved the apartment! It was walkable to anything you would want to do or see. The best part is the view from the balcony.
