In a close proximity from the Acropolis and the Contemporary Art Museums it is also close to taverns and vibrant bars. The metro is just eight minutes from my place, taking you to the Acropolis, Monastiraki, Thissio, Syntagma square and virtually anywhere. The Acropolis is within twelve minutes walking distance from the apartment. After Acropolis, the pedestrian street Dionysiou Areopagitou will lead you to the amazing Thissio and Monastiraki, where the flea market is. Plaka, our old city, is just in the backside of the Acropolis hill. It is very picturesque, with traditional restaurants and coffee shops.
