We had an amazing stay at Tessa’s place. We were travelling with grandparents and 2 kids aged 8 and 11. The property felt like a ‘home from home’ in a very beautiful and peaceful setting (amazing views of the estuary) . The property had everything we needed and more including bikes, kayaks, well equipped kitchen and laundry facilities. The estate itself has great amenities including a cafe and pub. All the rooms were extremely comfortable and spacious for our family. Lots of open reception spaces and outdoor spaces for relaxing. It was also the perfect place for exploring Knsyna and surroundings.

A deck offers a panoramic view of the Knysna Lagoon and surrounding mountains at sunset. Lush greenery, including palm trees and shrubs, frames the scene, creating a serene and inviting atmosphere. Soft hues of orange and pink in the sky reflect the day's end.

We absolutely loved our stay and Gabriel was a fantastic host. The house is very spacious and clean and had everything that we needed. The view was spectacular and we truly enjoyed the beaches nearby. Will definitely be returning in the future.

I had such an amazing stay. I needed a place at a moment's notice. Desiree went out of her way and allowed me to check in early. Even though she wasn't there to receive me she had made all the arrangements to have the unit ready for me. She asked her son-in-law to bring me coffee and rusks. I enjoyed the most beautiful sun sets. It was so quiet and extremely safe. Desiree is such an amazing host and a lovely person. Thank you, Desiree. I will be visiting again hopefully soon.

lovely little cottage that is so beautifully decorated. The outside areas are so beautiful and there is a lovely water feature just outside the door which makes the whole area just feel so soothing and definitely not like in the middle of a big city! I was traveling through Knysna with a vehicle full of things as I am relocating and Lesley even made space in her garage so that I could safely park my car in it as the vehicle couldn't lock. I would definitely recommend this spot to anyone! lovely accommodation and a super lovely host!

We loved staying at this house! It has stunning views overlooking the Knysna lagoon, great security being on Thesen Island, good privacy from the neighbours, it's spacious, has a lovely pool deck for sunset drinks, it has comfortable furnishings and a friendly and responsive host. (Thank you Candy for sorting out the DSTV sound immediately when we reported it). We would be keen to stay here again. Thank you!
