An absolute gem of a spot, over looking the sea on a quiet private road. Absolutely perfect for our family of 4. Everything provided including beach toys for the kids and board and card games. There is also so much to do in the area even when the weather was not perfect and we thoroughly enjoyed our evenings in the hot tub stargazing. Thanks so much!

Teachers cottage way exceeded my expectations! Private, peaceful and beautifully surrounded by nature. Well decorated and has everything you need. Candy and Ritchie were both wonderful hosts, friendly, very responsive and always willing to help. Loved my stay at Old School Farm!

I can't wait to return. The serene farm stay was perfect for a family break from the city's hustle and bustle. There was a sprawling lawn for the kids to enjoy themselves, and the crate of bats/balls, etc., was put to good use. It is eye-opening to see what the city kids are missing. The hike to the river was amazing, and not once did the kids have a chance to even think of saying they were tired, as nature kept them guessing around every corner. Linda was amazing from the initial communication post-booking until after checkout. Genuine farm hospitality!

Great cottage in a great location. We visited in winter and the wood burning oven warms up the entire house. Great bedrooms, comfy and clean. The kitchen has everything you need to be self sufficient. The deck looks out over a fantastic magic garden. The garden has all sorts of hidden corners that must be explored. We picked our dinner veggies, grape fruits, oranges and lemons - there is loads more. If we could give this place 6 out of 5 we would have. Loved it

What a magical place! Linda is the most accommodating and tentative host we’ve ever had!! It is the perfect place for a family and truly an amazing spot for complete R&R. From the walks around the farm, swimming in the rockpools, the jungle gym, feeding the calves and the recommendation to see the 800+year old tree! What an amazing experience! Wish we had stayed much longer than 2 nights! We will definitely be back for a longer visit!

Our purpose for the weekend was us attending my son’s wedding.The accommodation was neat. I saw too late that all bedrooms were upstairs, so my mom of 80 years had to find a different accommodation when we got there. That was my mistake for not reading all the details. We expected a lake view from the house. However, we had a beautiful view of the mountains from the 2 bedrooms and the garden area from the bathroom. The fire place on the stoop could not be used due to rainy weather. Belinda is very responsive, we had a small problem with having no hot water the one evening and Belinda made sure that this was fixed first thing in the morning. All in all, we had a very comfortable & cosy stay. Thank you Belinda.🙌🏻

This place is truly a hidden gem! The breathtaking views of the ocean and surrounding landscape made it feel like a perfect blend of forest and seaside tranquility. The home was fully equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Every moment felt like stepping into a masterpiece of nature’s beauty — truly a reflection of God’s artwork. The steps leading to this hidden gem were truly rewarding. Karen was one of the best hosts I’ve ever had the pleasure of dealing with, making me feel like part of her family from the start. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a refreshing escape from daily life, even if you already live near the ocean — this is an entirely unique experience.

Every now and then you come across special places in the world, places you feel truly priveleged to be able to visit. This is one of them. It's a wonderful place to stay, it's a whole experience being there, both wild and rustic but also comfortable and set up just right. The cottage is perfect. A great space for two to share, cosy and decorated with a minimal but excellent taste, the kitchen has everything you need, be it for storing some snacks or more concerted cooking. (of, for example, delicious things you find at the nearby Sedgefield market). The area is wonderful to explore, jump in a kayak and go! And, sure, you can hear the traffic across the way, but at least in mu opinion, it just doesn't matter. Stay for as many nights as you can, you're going to want to. We loved staying at Sue’s place! Was a beautiful secluded spot that made us feel like we weren’t in the hustle and bustle of season but still not a very far drive from beach, hikes, restaurants, etc. My senior dog was able to stay and had a little fenced garden for when we had to leave her at the bnb which she loved! Great spot for a family or a few friends :) Sue was also very responsive and gave clear instructions so everything went smoothly! We will definitely want to make this a regular spot we stay ✨ highly recommended x

The Cottage at Wetlands exceeded my expectations. Everything was so perfect and was great attention to detail. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there and would definitely recommend staying there. I know I will be staying there again.

Katja and Axel are amazing hosts! The cottage was absolutely beautiful and so peaceful. The hosts think of everything you'd need to make your stay comfortable. It's definitely a hidden gem out in the forest and worth checking out!

We stayed 3 nights in the lovely cottage. We stayed 2 adults, 2 kids and an infant - the cottage worked well for that. The grounds are lovely and Great for kids to play at. We used the location as a base to hike the nearby forest and to drive to Knysna. Staff was friendly and helpful. Recommended.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Kobus’s Airbnb cabin, and I must say, it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. It was clear that great care was taken to ensure cleanliness, with every corner of the space thoughtfully maintained. The cabin was also stocked with everything we needed for a stress-free stay. From kitchen essentials like pots, pans, and utensils to thoughtful touches like extra towels, toiletries, and cozy blankets, Kobus truly thought of everything. It was the kind of place where you could easily settle in and feel right at home. I highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a peaceful and well-equipped getaway. The attention to detail and cleanliness made all the difference, and I wouldn’t hesitate to book again!

Linda was amazing- going out of her way to help us with additional nights after we ran into some issues. the units were lovely and the staff so helpful and friendly - moving our luggage to different units due to the additional nights. thank you!!

Our stay in Knysna was absolutely magical! The surrounding views were breathtaking, creating a serene and picturesque atmosphere throughout our visit. There was so much to do – from relaxing in the jacuzzi and enjoying the pools to spending time in the game rooms and park. My toddler had an amazing time, which made the trip even more special for us. Linda’s place was spotless and well-maintained, with the added convenience of being able to arrange extra cleaning if needed. The location is perfect, as it’s close to everything you could possibly need – shops, restaurants, and the most beautiful beaches. We highly recommend this stay for anyone looking for a memorable getaway in Knysna! Linda is amazing!!!!
