Absolute recommendation. Accommodation with great views and great location to explore the area. Rainer is super friendly and accommodating. Everything was sparkling clean and well-equipped. We enjoyed it.

We had an incredible few days at the house in Knysna! It was so comfortable and inviting that we never wanted to leave. We enjoyed swimming, braaiing and relaxing while watching movies together. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we could possibly need, plus some lovely extras. The rooms were clean and the bed really comfortable .The owners Kate and Grant, were incredibly kind and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. I would absolutely love to return whenever possible. It was a fantastic experience and I highly recommend it!

We were met at the home on arrival by Gail.Very friendly.Walked us through the home and explained the functioning of the home.Kept in contact with Gail via texting-she reponded promptly.Fantastic views from the upstairs bedrooms and balconies.Very private and peaceful.Home is in a gated communty so very safe.Short walk or drive into town.Laundry was a bonus.Would definitely recommend.

Excellent location in a quiet “side corner”, not 150m walk from the main frontage of the lagoon with its view through The Knysna Heads, and close to Bollard Beach. If it’s privacy you are after it’s hard to beat this location. Not to mention privacy within the home - we loved the unique design of this house where the “master bedroom” is elevated and has two “interleading” doors (with stairs in between) to the rest of the house, making for absolute peace even when other guests are enjoying the kitchen and lounge spaces. The turret room is also exceptionally private, even when other guests are downstairs in the lovely TV lounge. There are several outside lounging spaces, a beautiful garden, two braai options and more than enough space for everyone. The very clean pool with a stunning blue night light was a treat. The kitchen has everything, including gas stove, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer, and a very impressive stock of glassware! We loved our stay here! Thank you.

A beautiful home that was perfect for my family. Accessible for my parents who were elderly, and my son spent hours canoeing the waterfront and swimming in the canal. Thank you for a wonderful stay! Highly recommended to anyone who wants to visit Knysna. Walking distance to Waterfront with so much to offer!

We had a wonderful stay and felt very comfortable. The surroundings are fantastically beautiful and the lagoon is great for swimming for small children. We barbecued on the terrace and made ourselves comfortable. We would come back anytime!

The apartment is attractively furnished and its big decks give a great view of the waterways and passing boats. There is always something to watch. All the amenities are provided, with a user-friendly kitchen that is fully equipped. Restaurants, bars and a famous bakery are in easy walking distance and our daily strolls around Thesen Island were enjoyable. Douglas is a very attentive host with local knowledge and ideas. We could not have asked for a better experience.

The main house is beautiful, looks better in person. The house is so bigger everything is provided for you. My wife loved the garden & the pool, the work on this property is amazing! I highly recommend this property I can't wait to go back again!

This house was worth every penny, from the surroundings to the house itself, it met every expectation and more. The host is also extremely friendly so we were all happy about the experience. Highly recommended.

The house is beautiful. Comfortable. No complaints there. Location is fabulous. Great places to eat walking distance from the house. The security is tight which is good. So the check in is slightly more lengthy but required in order to ensure your safety which is really good. Biometrics worked well for me. Host Tracy was very nice and responsive to my questions. Overall a great experience. Wish we could stay longer. Really nice place to chill and relax.

We were a large group of 9 adults and 5 children and felt so welcome and at home at 6onProtea. The rooms are all very well equipped, the kitchen and dining area well serviced and the views/location was beautiful. The manager and his housekeepers were AMAZING! We felt so cared for with their excellent recommendations for local restaurants/attractions. Nothing was too much trouble and they were attentive but not intrusive. The manager provided us with a great selection of new board games when we arrived as he thought “we looked like we were a group that would play games”. He was so right! We have many special memories of playing board games and laughing next to the roaring fire on the chilly winter nights in a special location in Knysna. We will be back!

The house was absolutely fabulous. We were 8 people and the house has plenty is space to comfortably accommodate all of us. It is also tastefully decorated. The neighborhood was completely safe and near many attractions including restaurants. We highly recommend the place and would not hesitate for one minute to book the place again. This was one of the best places I have ever rented on Airbnb. Thank you Kirsten

Absolutely stunning views over the beach and sea. The views can be enjoyed from everywhere in the house. Extremely large beautiful property with lots of open space inside and out. A large balcony with loads of space to relax on. The main bedroom and bathroom are a great size and very comfortable again both with amazing views. Large dressing room too. All far bigger than the photos show. A few minutes drive to the beach which is lovely and not too busy. There is only a very small village shop with very limited supplies. We ate at Butterfly Blu on the beach a couple of time and the food was very good. Our only feedback would be some comfortable relaxing chairs to be used on the lawn. There are however 2 loungers on the balcony. We would definitely recommend this property especially if you are looking for privacy and scenic views.

We had an absolutely amazing experience at the Honeymoon castle. The view we woke up to every morning was the perfect way to start the day. It definitely felt like we rested with the sights of seals, lots of birds and we even saw otters the one day. Will absolutely recommend it to anyone looking to have a peaceful honeymoon or even just a vacation. We will definitely be back one day.

This has to be the best house we have ever stayed in. The house all the amenities and amazing attention to detail. Incredible views, every appliance you need and responsive host, worth every cent. Definitely coming back.
