Our small cottage with sauna, located in the center of Äkäslompolo village in Lapland, along the old reindeer trail, is an excellent destination for one or two people. In the sauna of the cottage, you can enjoy the steam of a traditional wood-fired sauna. All the village's services are within walking distance and buses to the airport or train station leave from the courtyard of a nearby hotel a couple of hundred meters away. The cabin provides comfortable accommodation spaces and a well-equipped kitchen where you can prepare delicious meals after long days. There are two bedrooms on the ground floor, one of which has separable beds. Upstairs there's a large bunk beds, WC and a fold-out futon sofa for an extra bed. The sauna is located in a separate outdoor building, accessed through a glazed terrace. An outdoor fireplace is also situated on the terrace, where you can enjoy even the chilliest of evenings.
