We stayed overnight at Ayumi’s for an early morning flight out of Haneda. The location is great for an early departure or even a late arrival to give yourself some breathing room. We had a little difficulty getting into the building as due to a mix up of codes but Ayumi was quick to respond to our phone call and we were able to get in quickly. It’s a spacious place with a high class shower and classy interior. The description does state that there’s a tv but that’s only in the bath but the bedroom light is also a projector which casts to the doors when closed. Overall a great stop just before a day’s worth of traveling.

Such a great find! The flat is stunning and looks exactly as described, spacious and very nicely designed and decorated. The area is also very vibrant, loads of restaurant and the host kindly provide a long list of places to go

I really enjoyed my stay. The bathroom was larger than I expected, the room was spacious and I really liked the cozy sleeping space with the tatami mats. The apartment was close to train tracks, but the windows were pretty soundproof. The only thing that could be improved is installing curtains on some of the windows - it gets too bright in the morning without them.

Host and co host were responsive and aided with queries. location was walkable to surrounding points of interest. metro station was within 10 mins walk. well equipped Airbnb. with lift definitely made the stay easy for family with kids or multiple luggages the stay easy and stress free. Definitely try it.

We loved staying at Shimbashi West Section L! Concierge was extremely warm and welcoming. Check-in and check-out was extremely smooth and easy. We loved the entire vibe of this place! The lounge was comfortable and had a tea, coffee and soft drink station with some snacks that you could help yourselves with. We arrived Wed and they have happy hour where they featured a few drinks for self serve. The overall room was thoughtfully designed and had storage under the bed. There's a bench, table and chair for you to sit and have meals. The room was furnished with appliances and their app had instructions. There were 2 ac units. The water pressure was great. The toilet & shower was a bit larger and there was counter space for stuff. In the halls, we could hear families with kids - the rooms were soundproof very well. We tried the sauna which was a great way to wind down and relax. I'd highly recommend staying here, it's clean, thoughtfully designed and made us feel right at home!

This was a great place for our family of 3 (including a 7 year old child). The place was clean and spacious. It was also within 5 mins walk of the station. There is a restaurant downstairs where we could ordered gyozas when we were tired. The beds were big and comfortable. Kitchen and laundry is a must and this worked out perfectly. It had everything we needed. Rumiko is very responsive and was a fantastic host. She sent us pictures of the entrance so it was easy to find.

We had a wonderful stay at Miho’s place! The apartment itself is adorable with the comfiest bed and ambient lighting. The neighborhood was also lovely as it was very quiet but with plenty of restaurants and cafes. Miho’s guidebook was also extremely helpful when choosing places to eat. We always looked forward coming back to Mitaka after being in the city center! Thank you for an amazing stay :)

We enjoyed our stay at Yoko's place. Close to both subway and train stations. Very safe neighborhood even as we walked home at 11pm thru the back alley. We had little issue with locating the address but it is due to us not being familiar with Japan. Yoko responded right away when I messaged her and it was a smooth sailing after that. We would definitely rent her place in the future.

Exactly as pictured . Super cute and Clean Gima does a great job at providing clear well organized instructions we didn’t get lost at all with her directions . Great place!

A great little house a few minutes walk to Heiwajima station. Everything is as described and the transport links to the rest of Tokyo and out of Tokyo are very good. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Chie's place was beautiful and relaxing. I enjoyed my time there immensely and loved taking peaceful walks along the river. Chie and her husband are kind, patient, and very friendly. I felt well taken care of in her home and would love to stay again if ever I have the chance.

The response was quick and I had a very comfortable stay! I think it's the best place to stay for large groups! I'd love to stay again when I go to Yokohama!

I honestly don’t know where to begin. Staying in Keiko’s home was truly one of the greatest honors of our time in Japan—it was a highlight of the entire trip. From the moment we walked through her door, we were immersed in Japanese culture. Keiko greeted us with warmth and kindness, making us feel immediately at home. She patiently guided us through everything, showing us how to use her space with care and respect. Her home is a reflection of her spirit—graceful, serene, and full of beauty. I was deeply moved and inspired by her presence and generosity. Being invited to take part in her traditional Japanese tea ceremony was an experience I will never forget. She took the time to teach us the rituals and meaning behind each step, explaining everything with such clarity and heart. We stayed here for 1 full month & 200% recommend the house and location! LOVED THE SPACE: home was spacious and SO comfortable for both kids and elderly. Host also provided games / toys (which my kids loved) and a baby chair and baby napping futon which was incredibly helpful! Rooms were also very spacious and the bath was SO comfortable with generous amenities provided. LOVED THE LOCATION: (1) close to station - only 5-7 min walk (2) delicious Izakayas were all walking distance and SO CLOSE / everywhere (3) convenient stores were also at every corner (7/11, Lawson, aeon - couple min walk) (4) Uniqlo / small mall with food spots/ don quijote was just two stations away at Keikyu-Tsurumi stop, and not crowded which made shopping amazing. MEGA Don quijote also walkable (25 min) and amazing! YATSUZUKASANS COMMUNICATION: Really appreciated the incredibly fast responses, hospitality, and flexibility. Host and location was above & beyond my expectations - highly recommend!

The house was absolutely spotless! It was easy 10-12mins walking distance from Ikebukuro station. 7/11 and shopping malls nearby. Though the house was tiny, I suppose that's the tokyo standard, but cleverly decorated & organized. easily felt at home.

Host was very responsive, and listing matched descriptions and pictures in the listing. The unit is 3 min walk from train station, which is really convenient. Host explained how to use all appliances. Quick response from host whenever we ask any questions. Would highly recommend this place!!

It's about 5 minutes walk from Hase Station, very convenient, there is a convenience store less than 100 meters away, just across the road is Yuigahama Beach, the location is good, you can go down to the beach to see the sea at any time in the morning and evening.The house is spacious, the living room has a sea view, the bathroom also has a window to see the sea view, listening to the sound of the waves while bathing is simply amazing, the experience is very good

we love our stay at Hitomi's place. It was super easy going in the appartement and with all the great recommandations she provided. We stayed in with a years old and a 5 months, it was super convenient. It's really closed to train's station and a lot of shops and restaurant.

We really enjoyed Aileen’s place for the 6 nights we stayed and we really found the Nakano station very convenient being on the Chuo Rapid line we could get to Shinjuku in 5 minutes. And from there we had several connecting lines to travel anywhere within Tokyo. The space in the apartment was lavish compared to the cramped Tokyo hotel rooms and we could easily have all our luggage in the living room. The deck was an added bonus as it has some spectacular sunset views. Overall a wonderful place to be in a quiet area but close to the action.
