I highly recommend this apartment in the heart of Ortigia, a stone's throw from the market and the main tourist attractions of the island. Slightly further away is the ancient theater and the archaeological area, which can still be reached on foot. Nearby you can find popular but high-quality restaurants. The neighborhood is entirely pedestrian, being an ancient Arab medina. The apartment is modern and functional, very cool and airy, with a large terrace without vis-à-vis. Wi-Fi works perfectly, it is a very convenient base for exploring the city. The host is extremely responsive, reachable on WhatsApp and on the platform, for any urgent or non-urgent need.

We stayed at Armando's for two nights and had a great time. The location is quiet, in the Syracusan countryside, near the beautiful beaches Le Fontane Bianche, Ognina, Arenella etc. and a few kilometers from the beautiful but confusing Syracuse. The accommodation was perfectly clean and equipped with everything you need, small kitchen, fridge, comfortable bed, air conditioning, a small entrance with table, chairs and umbrella, clothes rack, etc. Armando was very kind and helpful and provided us with great advice. If the opportunity arises, we will definitely return to his accommodation.

Book with your eyes closed 👍We just spent 3 nights from 16 to 19 /10/2024, in Casa di Mauro , which totally matches the photos and descriptions. Ideally located near the temple of Apollo , we were quiet in this charming ultra clean, functional accommodation, equipped with everything that makes a place comfortable and above all tastefully decorated. The bedding is ultra comfortable . In addition , we enjoyed the warm welcome from our host, Maria . Thank you for his listening, his pro activity, his responsiveness and all his attention that brings the little more magical in the rental... water bottles and toilet products. Thank you also for his good tips and for the great places for lunch and dinner. All the ingredients were there to fully enjoy our stay in Syracuse in the heart of Ortigia and we felt in the accommodation very comfortable as home.…the experience delighted us and we will come back . I stayed at Lucas apartment a few days short of three months time. Luca has done a wonderful job designing the apartment. It's in a very interesting and well located small complex. I've already written two other reviews as I extended my visit twice. Outside of the apartment being lovely and in a great location what really stood out and meant so much to me was getting to know Luca. He is such a kind and caring person. Unortunately during my stay I was dealing with some health issues. Luca could not have been more supportive. More than being my landlord he has been a friend. Grazie mille Luca Wishing you all the best always.

Had an excellent weekend. Lovely food and very friendly people. Easy to get to from airport (by bus €6.20) short walk a few stairs some of which are very narrow in the studio. All very clean. The only slight problem were the sheets which didn’t stay on the bed. Thanks for the wonderful stay.

Honestly a great experience, the lady was very kind and exquisite, she gave us great information, and the structure is really comfortable. Everything is in order, and the lady tries to make her guests feel good. The property is really big, a few small details might not be perfect, but the great location, free parking on the street, and the lady's availability are an important plus. It is also worth noting the excellent and abundant breakfast (not two brioches on the cross). We had a really good time, if we were to go back to Syracuse it would definitely be our first choice.

Silvia was an excellent host, always responsive and very helpful. We were able to find the villa with her instructions and she was there to greet us and say goodbye when we left. The villa was spotless and we loved the outdoor space with all its different seating areas and bbq. The house was well equipped with thoughtful touches. There were lots of little extras for our stay including clean towels, jams, treats and Prosecco. A great base for exploring Sicily’s south east. Highly recommend this stay.

Giuseppe’s villa is beautiful, tastefully decorated and very spacious. The variety of outdoor seating areas were lovely for enjoying the sun at different periods of the day. The pool was superb, beautiful and clean. The villa is 10 minutes drive from Syracuse and Ortigia, which have a huge variety of delicious restaurants and bars. The streets are beautiful to explore, especially in the evenings. The only downside to the villa was the area. Unfortunately, there are no pavements so walking anywhere is unsafe. Therefore, hiring a car is necessary. There is a bus, but it only passes 4 x daily. There are local restaurants to visit, but driving is required due to the roads, and at our time of visiting it was unclear whether these were open or not. Despite this, I would happily visit Giuseppe’s villa again without a doubt. Thank you for having us.

Peppe is a super host and he made our stay very enjoyable. He was very diligent to our needs, gave us more than enough advice on what to see and eat and also what to do. I can’t recommend this place enough!

We had a wonderful 4 day stay at Alessandro’s house with the beautiful garden and amazing views… our 4year old son loved the pool, the playground and- after some time- the big dog ;-) we would love to come back to this great host

We just had the most fantastic 9 days at Andrea’s house with our two girls. Andrea very kindly met us at the house despite our delays. We were treated to the most delicious housewarming treat of ice creams. This is without a doubt the best house we have stayed it. I am meticulous when finding a house for our family holidays. It was spotless clean, very comfortable beds, the kitchen was well equipped and the pool and outside space was a dream. We hired a car for noto, Ortigia ( use Andreas parking recommendations and boat company for a tour, Marzanemi and Aqua-beach. Velo cafe is a great spot for a nice coffee, granite (kids loved them) and bakery. It was prefect time to go an average of 24 degrees and no crowds. This is going to be a very memorable holiday and are thanks go to Andrea for a prefect house and being so responsive throughout our trip. Xx

The place is absolutely amazing, high quality build and decorations in everything, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The pool is the best I have seen, including hotel pools, as it’s deep enough at one end (well over 2 meters) to jump in and has a spring board. Location is near a road but it’s well isolated enough that you can’t see the traffic and it’s quiet, just a beautiful retreat. The kitchen is very well equipped and has a big dining room. Hosts are perfect - very responsive when you need them, non intrusive when you don’t. You need a car, but location next to Siracuse is perfect with lots of beautiful places to visit nearby. We would definitely return!

The host was extremely lovely and accommodating. The villa was beautiful and was perfect for hosting of dinners in the evening. The standout was the terrace which offered beautiful views - Germana was our host and was a pleasure to speak with. Was a great place for a getaway with the girls!!

Paradise!~ Right in the heart of Ortigia, yet quiet and peaceful. Everything you need to be comfortable--big open main room, morning sun on the veranda for coffee, strong wifi and comfy bed, and fully equipped kitchen. We loved it here and can't wait to return! Wonderful host who gave us fresh linens each Tuesday (we were there for a month). 5 minutes to the sea, 5 minutes to the duomo, I am already missing it!

This flat was so well located in the heart of the delightful island of Ortigia. It was always lovely to come ‘home.’ I stayed for a week and found that the apartment came well appointed with everything one might need - from kitchen utensils and dishes to hair dryer, iron and vacuum. Being on the third floor might mean you have to lug your suitcase up but the reward is being above the foot traffic of the street and having the lovely sunlight and airiness of a top floor. There was a small coop on a diagonal corner that has most kinds of food and household conveniences. The bed was comfortable and closets spacious. The bathroom is updated and has a small washing machine. There are many more details that make this place such good value not to mention the friendliness and responsiveness of Enrica’s communication. I hope to stay there again!

Where to even begin, okay: hospitality. These guys make you feel at home straight away. They went above and beyond for our baby with toys and a bed, the fridge was filled, a pie was baked and they responded very quickly. Lovely apartment, not super huge but we didn’t need that. Great part of town: you can walk everywhere. Literally. Also thought the price was very decent. Don’t hesitate: book!

Anna was the perfect host. Although she wasn't able to meet us in person, she made sure that everything went smoothly and that we didn’t miss a thing. She helped us set up parking (highly recommend using the EasyPark app) and provided clear directions to the apartment. Her instructions for accessing the apartment and using everything inside were detailed and easy to follow. Any questions we had were answered promptly, and she also shared a self-guided walking tour, local highlights, and fantastic food recommendations—especially spots where the locals eat. We loved stepping out into the excitement of the market each morning. And if we wanted a quieter route, we could simply head out the other direction and stroll past charming shops on the way to the main street. We had the most amazing stay at 'Flying Whales'. It was super easy to find and Leandro's mum, Rosy gave us great instructions for our arrival. She also left us some wine and goodies which was super thoughtful🥰 and even checked in with us by text during the holiday to check all was good. We absolutely loved our stay from start to finish and the icing on the cake is the amazing roof terrace with spectacular views. It's an amazing place to stay, right in the heart of beautiful Ortigia and we were sad to leave, but hoping to come and stay at your lovely apartment again.

Beautiful large apartment in a perfect location. Just steps from the ocean. The place is very spacious and clean. There is no oven but the stove works well. The bed is a bit squeaky and the couch as well. The neighbor is also very particular about how you close the door into the palazzo and confronted me and guests many times. The hosts are wonderful! Kind and very responsive. ❤️

We had a great stay at Titty’s. It was a fantastic location, clean and everything we needed for a short stay in Ortigia.
