Family-friendly vacation rentals in Iredell County

The house is amazing. Extremely well equipped. Amazing decks, docks etc. Great gas grill. Amazing lower level with bar and game room. All three bathrooms and showers are really nice, including outdoor shower. 😀 All of the wall hangings and niknacs are very nice and make it feel like a real home and not just a rental. I could go on and on but I only have so much space. Thanks for sharing your fabulous home. It made our sons wedding week very special!

This was a peaceful oasis for our two families and kids. The views from the windows, the wrap around screened in porch and the tranquil backyard were amazing. We barely left all weekend.

It was a nice peaceful stay! I gave the entrance 3 stars because the lock box was kind of touchy to get open! We didn't arrive until late, but the porch light was on for us and a lamp inside, that was so terrific!!!

We had a lovely stay! We loved kayaking, swimming in the warm lake, and taking in the 270 degree lake views on the beautiful shaded dock. Frankie and Gordon were available, when needed, to answer any questions and give recommendations for the area. They live on the other side of the property (in a separate building) so it feels as if you have the place to yourself. Thank you for sharing your beautiful location with us.

This was a beautifully decorated and homey cottage that was easily accessible to I-77 for our overnight stay. Every detail was perfect and too many amenities to mention. Very dog friendly and even little treats were left for him. We wish we could stay longer and enjoy the home but will definitely be back!

This was our second time visiting, loved it this time too. So peaceful and relaxing, we'll definitely be visiting again.

The home was absolutely beautiful and plenty of space for everyone. So much to do on the property we spent most of our time at there. We would highly recommend this property for anyone with a large group of friends and/or family.

Absolutely beautiful home and spot on the lake. This home provided a safe haven for me, my fur babies and family during hurricane Helene. Host was responsive and very kind. The home is in a beautiful and quiet location. I would love to stay here again.

We stayed with a group of thirteen for a family vacation and couldn't have been more pleased with the atmosphere the house provided. There was more than enough space for all of us, and the bunk beds allowed a place for the kids to stay together in one room. The living room, decks, docks and sitting areas were big enough for all, and allowed privacy for smaller groups to talk. We can't say enough about how much we enjoyed the lake and the docks. The view was phenomenal, and the lake was so relaxing. Josh was very helpful and made us feel comfortable and answered all of our questions. We highly recommend Blue Heron Bliss- or as our son called it, Blue Heron Blast (because it was so fun!)

Lisa and David were exceptional hosts. Lisa communicated with me many months prior to my father’s stay and was exceptionally kind. She went as far as to speak with me on the phone. The home was immaculate and the style was current with clean lines, plush pillows and was extremely inviting. The area in which the home is located is safe, quiet and private. Access to town (as my father cannot drive) was perfect walking distance to coffee shop, diner, restaurants, town green, library and the college campus. Perfect stay. Perfect hosts.

We had a fabulous stay at huckleberry hideout with a group of 14 girls. We had a minor toilet issue and it was able to get fixed within a few hours. The cabin was clean & the amenities were just as described.

While never meeting in person, communication with Nathan was always consistent and clear. He always wanted to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. The house itself is fantastic with plenty of space for the whole family (7 adults & 2 kids) which allowed us to be together or to have some quiet time if desired. The property offers endless means of enjoyment whether jumping off the dock for a swim, lounging on the lake in an inner tube, or playing KanJam/cornhole/basketball. There is plenty of outdoor seating on two levels to just sit and enjoy the view with a drink, too. We felt like we were able to “get away” but also had the convenience of stores, restaurants, movie theaters, etc. all within about a 10 minute drive. We would definitely stay here again.
