Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Iredell County

We had a lovely stay. We especially appreciated some of the small details: places to hang 4 towels outside the bathroom, an easy to remember password, a fresh sponge. It worked great being so close to campus. I would certainly stay at the house again if I were visiting Davidson and would recommend staying there to friends and family.

The place was in a great location being close to what we needed yet away from all of the hustle and bustle of the Charlotte area. The fenced in yard was great for our four legged family member to roam.

Loved staying here, it’s a cozy little spot right on the lake. Neighbors are so friendly, since there’s a shared dock, you do walk through the neighbors yard just a little to get on the dock. Loved waking up to the lake everyday. My son LOVED seeing fire flies and catching them. Only two things missing, the cushions for the outdoor patio furniture and bath mats to step on after a shower. The location is perfect, not far from Publix and general shopping needs. 10/10 would love to go back again :)

The place was beautifully decorated and clean, the location was gorgeous and peaceful. We loved the views! The beds were comfy and it was very clean.

This beautiful home was perfect for our wedding guests for a busy wedding weekend. We loved sitting out on the spacious deck overlooking the water and visiting with everyone. Just a short distance from Chickadee Hill Farms if you’re looking for a good place for your out of town guests.

Great location, walkable to all downtown Davidson amenities and easy access to the highway.

We had a wonderful stay. The house was cozy and extremely well maintained and clean. The view of the lake was amazing and the area was quiet and peaceful. This was our first trip to the area and Kate was very responsive to my messages. Highly recommend.

We were visiting our son at Davidson College and it was close and gave a place to place board games and sit by the fire. Love the lake. Peaceful.

Wow, what a location right by the lake! We absolutely loved this accommodation. its tastefully decorated, calm, peaceful and private. the living space is sociable and the front porch allows you to enjoy the view of the lake, the birds and just the wonderful peaceful atmosphere. there are kyaks and paddle boards and a beautiful dining area on the jetty. Comfortable beds, pretty linen, great bathrooms and a well equipped kitchen make it feel top end. Clearly this place is loved by the owner and we recommend it to anyone looking for a tranquil stay. we came to Charlotte for the Speedway but we're so happy we got out of town to explore the countryside and enjoy Lake Norman. Downtown Moorseville is about 20 mins away and was a lovely place for a bit if shopping and some nice coffee ☕️ Thank you Patricia. we highly recommend your beautiful place at Tranquility Cove x

Loch Norm Lair is beautiful and relaxing. Great neighborhood. Just the peaceful week we needed. Rick and Judy are extremely friendly. Rick loves to share his boat and will take you for a ride. We sat and talked with them on several occasions and shared a dinner at a restaurant. The place is well cared for and a great deal, very reasonable pricing. It was a shame the sailboat wasn't working, would have loved a ride. We are already talking about a return trip in warmer weather to fully enjoy the water. Thank you so much for the beautiful week. Had a wonderful extended stay at this truly awesome lakefront unit. The facility was very clean, well equipped and is located on an outstanding lakefront lot with a beautiful sandy beach. Especially nice was the shallow water access available for our visiting granddaughter. The location faces due west, so the beautiful sunsets can be appreciated from comfortable swings on the covered dock/porch area over the water. Our gracious hosts were always available to answer any questions we had about the unit and/or the area. Would also mention location is very close to the Langtree Center with great dining options available and also outside concerts. Looking forward our next visit.

Brittany‘s place was cozy and relaxing! It was a perfect location (I actually liked how it was near the highway!) We checked in and then walked to the North Harbor Club restaurant across the way and the food was delicious! We used the tennis rackets and were the only ones at the courts!! We did not take advantage of the pickleball gear but it was available as well! We also spent time at the pool which was enjoyable. The beds were comfortable and the community was very quiet. It was the perfect home away from home for us. This place is good for any age as long as you are okay walking to the third floor!

We had a wonderful stay - peaceful, quiet and incredibly comfortable. The space was spotless, thoughtfully decorated and full of calming touches that made it easy to relax. The beds were very comfortable, and I slept deeply every night. The surrounding are was beautifully quiet, offering the perfect escape from the noise of daily life. Samantha, the host, was responsive and respectful. Everything was seamless from check-in to check-out. This stay was what we needed! Highly recommend for anyone seeking rest and tranquility.

Really great place. We’d love to stay here again. It was in a perfect cove for our littles to explore the water and we all felt like they were safe. The tv in the living room didn’t work, but they did come try to fix it and were extremely kind and responsive. We really didn’t use it anyway, other than at night. My kids loved the fishing gear, paddle boards, canoes, and fire pit for roasting marshmallows. We had a blast. I would have loved some local eating recommendations, but really, the house was clean and amenities perfect, so we didn’t want to leave very much. Can’t wait to go back!

Perfect place for a relaxing weekend getaway right on the water. The hosts were very responsive and equipped the house with everything you could need. They provided a fire pit, grill, kayaks, and canoes which were perfect activities given the weather. There are houses nearby but it still felt like we had our privacy. We would definitely rent this house again and come back to Lake Norman!

What a great representation for Lake Norman honestly felt lucky to stay there. I’m definitely coming back.
