Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Inverness

Great place to stay, at high tide you feel like your right on the firth and at low tide there is a lot of area to walk. It's quite and peaceful, and was the perfect place for me and my family to relax whilst we explored Inverness, Loch Ness and the highlands

Stayed here while in Inverness for work, finished on site slightly early and Neil allowed us early access to house no problem

We had a short but lovely stay at Julie and Spencer’s place! We felt at home right away! The place was very very clean and comfortable and close to all the attractions we wanted to see. Julie and Spencer were very helpful and responsive. The neighbours are also very friendly! The only small setback was that we were expecting bunk beds, as that was what was listed when we booked. When we arrived, there was a small double bed in its place. However, it was a minor inconvenience in the grand scope of things. We would highly recommend this place to those wanting to stay in Inverness.

Great place with tons of room. The townhome was very clean and had everything we needed. Loved the cookies, teas, cereals and milk, it was a very nice touch. We definitely needed to stay longer!

The Ness Garden is an oasis away from home. Clean and bright and beautifully decorated. It is peaceful and quiet and we enjoyed our breakfasts on the patio in the garden. The bed is comfortable and the shower is specious with a rain head shower. The off street parking is very convenient. The location is perfect. A 15 -20 minute walk to the shops and coffee shops and restaurants along the beautiful Ness Walk. We visited Culloden Battlefield and the less touristy Loch Ness at Dores village and beach. We will definitely return here again during our next Scotland vacation. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

The place was very quiet but still very close to town. The supermarket was a very short walk away as where great restaurant and the Ness river for a shorter or longer walk.

Perfect! Comfortable beds, spacious room, complete with fridge, microwave, dishes, kettle etc, fresh milk for tea & coffee and more, and the place was immaculate!Bethany had thought of everything. Great, quiet location near Culloden battlefield and the city of Inverness. Bethany is a most pleasant and welcoming host. Truly excellent!!

Fantastic find! Beautiful views, lovely studio. Light, airy and spacious. Easy drive to visit Nessie. Highly recommend!

Puffin parlour was a wonderful home away from home. Michelle was east to talk to and communicate with and provided many extra useful items within the flat. It was centrally located so was easy for us to walk to many of the local attractions and was also easy to get to train and bus stations. The flat was clean and well tended and big enough that we felt we had plenty of room to cook and relax.

This was the perfect place to stay in inverness!! Close to everything. Well appointed, clean, basically anything you would need while visiting. Jill responded to all messages so quickly.

Place was fantastic! Clean and inviting, located near enough to everything to make navigation easy, but just far enough away to make things quiet at night. Great space!

The Airbnb was in a brilliant location. We walked around Inverness from the accommodation. The airbnb had everything we needed and more Kath was a brilliant host. Thank you for the delicious breakfast.

Lovely stay. Enjoyed the walks along the river. The apartment was beautifully renovated, decorated and clean. Great stay for us.

The Apartment in Highland Council was very nice and clean! There were also plenty of towels! The highlight was the beautiful, modern bathroom with the wonderful shower with a full enclosure door and a niche to place your shampoos, etc. Believe us when we say this is a plus in the UK! The water pressure and the hot water was also a plus. Again, this is not always the case in the UK! The apartment was quiet even though it is situated right by a road. The parking is by its back door/patio entrance which is by the market parking lot. We entered and exited from this door during our stay, and used the market parking near the back gate. The kitchen is adorable and functional, but it’s small. It has a very small refrigerator, so small amounts of groceries are best to buy if you’re cooking in. There were some staples available for use, a coffee maker and a kettle. The washer dryer was definitely a plus!

We had a great stay at Elaines. It was in a perfect location and so easy to walk everywhere, plus she has a parking pass that we used.

We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment was very clean and had a beautiful view of the river. Sandra was very responsive and kind.

The unit itself is very tidy and perfect for a couple to enjoy Inverness. It is just four blocks from everything. There are a number of units in the building. There is plenty of parking on the street if you don’t land a spot behind the building. The only unfortunate issue is that the building has automatic door closers that close the doors like cannon shots when the less considerate tenants let them slam continuously. Hopefully the landlord can adjust them to not be so forceful in the future.

The space was overall great. The pamphlets in the manual were extremely helpful and there was so much to do so close to the flat.

The house was extremely clean and had everything you would need in the kitchen and the bathroom. Beds were very comfortable and shower was great. It was just a short walk into the center of Inverness but was located in a quiet residential area

The place was much better than what was described. Mark is very warm and friendly. We stayed just for a night. Would definitely stay longer next time.

We had a great stay at Catherine's place in Inverness! Catherine, the host was easy to communicate with and shared a ton of helpful recommendations for local sights and restaurants. The apartment is well located—an easy walk to the town center and the River Ness. It’s equipped with lots of thoughtful amenities that made it feel like a home while exploring the Highlands. Highly recommend!
