Dawn‘s small cottage in the middle of Inverness is indeed a hidden gem. Just around the corner of the supermarket and many delicious restaurants. And very quiet. Very clean, cosy and decorated very lovely. Thank you very much for being such an excellent and thoughtful host. We‘d love to come back some day.

We had a wonderful stay! The home was beautiful and even more spacious than we expected. We absolutely loved the decor, and the beds were very comfortable. The welcome treats were a lovely touch and much appreciated. The only thing that would have made it perfect was the addition of some practical mirrors and a dressing table — the decorative mirrors were a bit too high for doing hair or makeup. Overall, it’s a lovely property in a great location. We’d happily stay again!

This is a lovely and spacious cottage with an amazing location! The small village is very relaxing and quiet, just what we were looking for. There are so many different types of landscapes to hike around very close by, marshes, lakes, forests, rocky mountains, heather fields, grassy pastures... The house has A Lot of helpful maps and brochures to pick the perfect route (with options for all abilities) if you have not come prepared. The location is very convenient as in 15-20 min you can reach the main motorway that cuts through the Highlands. It's only a bit more than an hour away from Inverness and about two hours away from Glencoe. Though with the national park at your doorstep you are already spoiled for choice and don't need to go far to enjoy some of the best landscapes in Scotland. Bridie was attentive and easy-going. She provided clear instructions and a lot of suggestions for local activities and amenities. We wish we could live in the cottage forever 😊

great place , Good Host

Beautifully located house near Aberlour, about 40 minutes walk into the town for the nearest shops and pub so a car is recommended, although the walk is lovely. By car it's 10 minutes to Aberlour along a country lane. House was well equipped, modern, comfortable, clean and had great views of the surrounding farm and countryside. The farm shop was an added bonus with meat from the farm we enjoyed on a BBQ one evening. The host is extremely friendly and responded quickly in our conversations pre arrival. Perfect spot for a family or group of friends exploring Speyside. Thank you!

Great place to stay for families and larger groups with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Large house in a beautiful location just a short drive from Alness and 30 minutes to Inverness making it a great base to explore the Scottish Highlands.

everything overall was fantastic, the cottage like setting of the whole interior of the house, to where the house was situated. beautiful location, the house had everything we needed, while travelling with a 3yr old. the bunk beds were a huge hit, and the amount of toys/movies that were available was a huge help! Heather was always very responsive to all my messages, answered any question I had, no matter how small. she made everything very clear and made everything a smooth transition. I would 100% stay there again!

Really lovely home, the host went above and beyond to make our stay as easy as possible. Will definitely book again if coming back to the area.

Willie’s house is really perfect for a cosy time in very beautiful surroundings. the kitchen has everything you need in a well deigned space the woodburner is a lovely focal point in the evening. The heated bathroom floors were lovely and everything was clean and in order. i definitely hope to be back

Our group of 6 adults (2 couple, 2 singles) really enjoyed Alan’s place. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including a wonderfully stocked kitchen which we cooked all our meals in. For us all to have our own bathrooms was a huge bonus. Lovely soft towels, toiletries provided & a top sheet on the beds!! The first place to do so so far on our 10 week road trip. It is what we are used to in Australia so felt like home. The welcome box of chocolates & milk in the fridge to make a cuppa was also appreciated by us all. Unfortunately due to the rain we weren’t able to make the most of the beautiful outdoor entertaining area, but the views were stunning. Thank you Alan for allowing us to stay in your lovely home.

Caravan was in a great spot with a golf green in front of us, dog loved watching the golfers all day, would book again, the site is perfect for the beach and various walks with the dog.

Amazing cottage that is well equipped with everything you would need. The grounds are beautiful and well kept and the additional access to the facilities in the Abbey is such a delight. Everything is close by and for outdoor adventures you cannot have a better base. We loved it!

Stunning location, the pictures don’t do it justice. Kids loved the swimming pool and games room.

It was a great cottage with beautiful nature and abbey grounds to inspect and look around! We had a great time!
