What a brilliant place to stay! We had a great week. Cottage felt like home from home and had everything we needed! The welcome gift was a lovely treat too! Great location for exploring the local area! We will definitely be back! 100% recommend 😍

Wir sind vier Freundinnen, die zusammen eine Woche in Nairn im Marine-Cottage direkt am Strand verbracht haben. Dass man aus der Küchentür direkt zum Strand kommt, und vom Esstisch aus das Meer sieht, fanden wir wunderbar! Wir haben oft gekocht in der gut ausgestatteten Küche des Cottages. Auch mit der Aufteilung, mit den drei Schlafzimmern, den beiden Bädern und dem schönen Wohnzimmer mit dem Kamin hat das Cottage für uns vier Frauen gut gepasst und war sehr komfortabel. Wir hatten eine schöne Woche am Meer im Marine-Cottage von Allasdair! Und kommen sicher wieder!

This is one of the best Airbnb stays I have had over the years. Sharon was just unbelievably kind and considerate as a host. From start to finish this was a smooth stay. As we were there over Christmas we didn’t get to visit a lot of places, but we took walks along the beach which was lovely, especially when the sun was starting to set. The home was furnished very well and had all the amenities that you would need. Despite us going over our checkout time (again apologies for this) Sharon and the team were so understanding and allowed us to move out our things and kept that kind spirit. In a way it might’ve been a plus as we got to meet her in person and she is just as lovely. Would truly recommend this home. And will definitely be booking this over summer at one point and for a longer stay, to really take in the house!!

We had a great stay here. The house exceeded our expectations and we particularly loved being able to walk on the beach in the evenings after exploring the beautiful Highlands during the days. It was especially especially useful to have some books and toys for children as we flew to Inverness with hand luggage only. Thanks for the friendly and useful communication - we hope to be back!

This is such a cosy, welcoming property and has everything you need for a relaxing, comfortable stay. The glass fronted room overlooking the bay is pretty much perfect and you really don’t need to move from this spot! You can just pop your feet up with a drink or two and quite easily spend the day watching the sea birds and people passing by, whilst admiring the wonderful landscape all around you. It was also handy to have both restaurants and shops a short stroll away, this was so convenient and added to the overall feeling of ease and relaxation. Jude was a kind and responsive host who was quick to sort out the couple of minor issues I had with accessing the lock-box and heating. All in all a lovely experience and we hope to return one day.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in Katies Haus sehr genossen, auch wenn es nur kurz war. Alles war sehr sauber und komfortabel. Mit Katie zu kommunizieren war einfach und die Anweisungen im Haus klar und verständlich. Sie ist eine sehr aufmerksame Gastgeberin. Portmahomack ist ein schönes Dörfchen am Meer und es hat alles, was man für einen Aufenthalt in Katies Haus braucht. Wir können diese Unterkunft wärmstens weiterempfehlen.

Great host and great place to stay! We loved the charm of this little sea side cottage and our 3 kids had a great time being in the second bedroom. We enjoyed the cozy wood burning stove and it was perfect to warm up by after the weather was a bit windy and cold. We also loved walking around and visiting the restaurants and co-op near by as well as the park and certainly the long walks by the ocean. Thanks for sharing your home!

Great location in Caol! We only stayed for a day on the way to Edinburgh, but we enjoyed walking along the shore, finding the shipwreck, and watching the sunset. The home was clean, and check in was easy. Good base for exploring the Fort William area.

Our stay at the cottage was great! It was such close proximity to Fort George and the beach which we enjoyed walking along as the sun set. It was well equipped and we so enjoyed our time.

Great stay at this location. The property was clean, comfortable and ideally located for local attractions like Ben Nevis. The off-road parking was really valuable. Amanda was a great host and she replied to queries quickly. Really enjoyed our time in Caol and would stay again.

We had a wonderful few days in Findhorn and the cottage was perfect. Cosy, well stocked with everything we needed, tastefully decorated and perfectly situated. Thanks Terry - we’d love to come back!

Great Place to stay with various age groups

The house in Corpach is a lovely place: spacious, nicely furnished, and with a very well eqipped kitchen. It's in a quiet location but it's very easy to get from there to Fort William and on into Glen Nevis (or to just take a stroll down by the coast or the canal). Frazer is a very fine host: welcoming and good at communications.

Lovely, well kept and presented home. Everything you need. Close to town (easy walk) and great walks nearby. Short drive to the base of Ben Nevis. Recommend the Larder Cafe, next to the Highland Soap Co. Only about 15 minutes walk. Great food!

Location in a quiet area but close to all amenities in town. Interior very modern & well designed. Nice little extras supplied such as local paper giving details of town functions & adverts for eateries etc. Niall & Bev have put a lot of thought into providing maximum comfort for their guests. A shame they can’t control the weather !! I would recommend this property to any couple & will definitely return on my next visit to Ullapool.

Emma was a wonderful host & the cottage was absolutely perfect for our needs! So cozy & lovely accommodations, as well as recommendations, provided - you can tell lots of care & detail has been poured into it.

Stayed for 3 nights at old bank cottage. Extremely comfortable as well as stylish accommodation. Claire was friendly and responsive. Would highly recommend this lovely cottage in beautiful Fortrose 👌🏻🐝🌸

We had a wonderful stay at Roggle Roiche! It is in a stunning location, with breathtaking sea-views. The house is very well equipped, with some well thought out added extra's. Very much a home from home 😊 The treats on arrival were a nice surprise. Andrew was a great host and responded quickly to messages. We would love to come back here again, and would definitely recommend to others.

Fantastic place had a great time visiting our daughter and her husband. The local area is absolutely stunning with lots to do and the accommodation is so cosy you could just stay there very easily. Welcome pack was incredible and a lovely touch. Dog friendly and the walks straight from the house were perfect for the dog. Highly recommend the harbour lights restaurant and the galley fish and chip shop walking distance from the cottage. Had a wonderful time and will definitely be back. Thank you Wendy.

It was perfect for us. The beautiful house, tastefully decorated, spacious and full of light. The surroundings quiet and beautiful. Tamsin and Mark super friendly hosts. It was our second time in Loggie 3 and we hope to come back again.

We had a fantastic few days at Bayview Cottage. Not only is the view of the bay and the Dornoch Firth from the roof terrace stunning but the cottage is extremely well presented and very comfortable. We loved the art and the personal touches. Our bearded collie, Stormy loved chilling on the roof terrace and is hard to describe the magnificent sunsets. Duncan has created a very special place in the lovely village of Portmahomack. My only regret is that we could not stay longer. Many thanks Duncan.
