Enjoy your meals in The three season room, watching the sunset over Houghton Lake. Fully equipped kitchen. Plenty of linens, towels. Dvd’s, games, puzzles. Enjoy a bonfire in the large fire pit as you roast marshmallows. Use of two kayaks, a bicycle built for two, pedal boat, tubes, are included for guests.
What guests are saying:“We enjoyed our stay at Elaine’s Lighthouse Cottage. We found the cottage to be warm & welcoming. It’s very spacious! We ate our meals in the covered porch off the back and roasted marshmallows in the backyard each evening. We picked up delicious brats and sides (pasta salads, baked beans, potato salad) at Lake House Meat & Deli to eat at the house. Lake St. Helen has a great public beach and we had fun playing mini golf at Pirates Cove.”
Steps to Houghton Lake and around the corner from the trails. Partial views of lake from front patio and fire pit. Modern lake cottage decor and furnishings, most new in 2019. All new appliances, including dishwasher. Great local spots nearby, beaches, restaurants, bars, movie theater. Garage to store your toys during your stay. Dogs are welcome with prior approval (please provide breed and size). No vicious breeds please. Exterior painting ongoing in June, no work will occur during stays
