Vacation rentals with breakfast in Het Hogeland

We arrive just for a weekend to see the Devin Townsend concert, but was amazing, first we arrived early than expected (11:00 hrs) but she recieved us anyway, the decoration and the ambient was amazing and of course the beautiful cat "Coco", also we had really good connection to public transport, thank you Tineke, sorry if we dont share too much with you but we dont had so much time to know the city, Greetings Antonia & Gabriel

Mia is the best host we have ever experienced! We would give 100 stars if we could. And her beds are magic as it was the best sleep. She really is the most thoughtful and caring host, the accommodation is so charming and we highly recommend Mia.

We had a lovely weekend at Annie and Jaring's place. They are very nice and service-oriented. Nice cottage and super garden to relax from our walks and excursions. Had a very tasty and extensive breakfast. Recommended and well worth it!

Overall a lovely stay in a very well located place. Kitchen was clean and had a large dishwasher which was helpful with children in tow. Full bath was lovely. Caretaker was friendly and a pleasure to work with. A really cool guy who furnished the place with personal, artistic touches. Groningen was so easy to explore on a rental bakfiets. Grocery, restaurants, parks and cultural places minutes from the apartment. Wish we had access to the washer/dryer given we were traveling with children. Bath was not operational due to a leak needing investigation through no fault of the caretakers doing, but would have made bathing children easier. Overall would highly recommend. Edwin was so friendly and oriented us during our check in. Groningen beats the bustle of the Randstad any day!

Roelie is very open and friendly. She explained everything to us on arrival and gave us tips for the area. Everything was super clean and the bed really very comfortable. We both got a delicious breakfast in the morning in front of the room, where we could choose the time freely. The location is also great, you can walk to the city in 20 minutes. If we come to Groningen again, I would choose this place again.

Petra was a great host. We felt welcome and at home right away. The house itself was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. We enjoyed our stay here 🙂

Everything about my stay was fantastic from the amazing hospitality of Alfred , my beautiful en-suite room; spotless with everything I needed and the fabulous setting. Highly recommended, this was my first time using Air BnB and I was extremely impressed thanks to Alfred!

What a great place, to stay at. I would recommend it to anybody visiting the area. Also the home is very pleasant to stay, very clean, lovely views from th living room, over the pond and the fields. Very quiet location for sleeping. The breakfast is very complete with fresly baked breads and croissants. And Cathie was so kind to let us pet her horses and goats. Janneke is nice, helpful and interested! Exactly appropriate! Everything is perfectly fine, clean, tidy and a great bed! In consultation, I showered at night, which was also no problem for Janneke (I had a party close by, with dressing and green hair, hence the desire to shower). Janneke is super understanding and that made me feel very much at home. Janneke is a super host! :)

What a beautiful B&B! Quiet and cozy and from the terrace and hot tub a beautiful view over the meadow. We enjoyed it! Jitske and her husband were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was also 5 ***** worth! See you next time!

Very nice B&B in a quiet area, especially in summer, the whore should be beautiful.

What a great place to stay for a few days in this region! Ina's place was very comfortable and had plenty of room along with your own private waterfront seating area. The kitchen was stocked full of goodies for your stay and the bathroom shower (and spa bath) was very luxurious. Ina was a great host and provided the GPS coordinates to reach her property, as it is not shown accurately on the driving maps. Definitely worth a four or five night stay.

The welcome is very warm. You will stay in a very neat, beautifully furnished room, with a good bed. There is a bathtub, and beautiful shower all in pristine condition. I couldn't enjoy breakfast. This had to be confirmed in advance at an additional cost, which I had overlooked.

Remco is friendly, and gave extra tips per Whatsapp. However, we arrived on the wrong side via navigation and then you can't get to the right parking spot (you have to get there via a one-way road), but otherwise the service, the village with supermarket and restaurants nearby was fine!

This was the perfect end to my vacation ❤️ Despite the fact that no one else was there, I was served a delicious full breakfast in my up, made with love! Beds sleep great, and it was wonderfully clean 😀 Super nice received by Gonnie and Richard. The perfect address for when I miss the last boat home again! We will definitely see each other again 😀 Thank you!!

Siska was a great host from the beginning, she was very friendly and welcoming! The room is light and spacious and had everything I needed. The house is not too far from the city center and is easy to reach. Even more so if you rent a bicycle - which I recommend, because Groningen is a great city to discover by bike. :) Oh, and Siska's breakfast is delicious, you don't want to miss it. I had an amazing stay at this beautiful room! It was even more stunning and well-organized than the photos. The interior design was tasteful and elegant, with so much attention to detail throughout the house and room — it truly felt special. Located in the heart of nature, it offered the perfect mix of comfort and peace. The apartment was fully equipped — a complete kitchen with tea, coffee, utensils, and thoughtful touches that made it feel like home. There was an optional paid service for meal preparation and snacks, plus a generous complimentary breakfast. One of my favorite parts was the outdoor seating in the backyard garden — a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The host was incredibly kind and accommodating. Knowing I had to leave early due to travel plans, they kindly woke up at 5 AM to prepare breakfast for me and pack it to-go. That level of care truly stood out. Highly recommended — I’d absolutely love to return!

A very nice stay, even for a short overnight stay. That I arrived a little later in the evening was not a problem. The room was comfortable and equipped with towels and a sink. The breakfast was excellent and definitely value for money. Highly recommended if you are staying in the north of the Netherlands.
