The Wandelschuur is on the edge of the forest, within walking distance to the Waddenzee and Lauwersmeer. Decorated with taste and color, moreover, there are no houses and buildings to see when you look out through the high glass facade with French doors. The Wandelschuur is a wooden cottage on a residential yard. You will sleep in the romantic loft in a spacious double bed. A nice base for mudflat walking, a day in Schiermonnikoog, hiking, cycling around Lauwersmeer, eating fish, etc. :)

Our chalet is located on a beautiful child-friendly campsite in the Lauwersmeer nature reserve. Close to the crossing to Schiermonnikoog, the cities of Groningen and Dokkum. It is fully equipped with its own enclosed garden and patio, 5 minutes from the swimming beach. The park has a restaurant, snack bar, bike rental and lots of indoor and outdoor play areas for children. From the campsite, you are immediately in the beautiful Lauwersmeer nature reserve for walks and bike rides.

Relax in our neat, family-friendly house on the outskirts of the Lauwersmeer. This piece of land belongs to the Wadden Sea World Heritage Site. From here, you can easily travel to one of the Wadden Islands or try mudflat walking. At the Lauwersmeer, you can venture into water sports or just enjoy the sun and the water. The house is just a 1-minute walk from a large forest area, where you can walk in peace and admire the beautiful area.

This cozy and stylishly furnished house is surrounded by beautiful nature. From the garden, you can walk or cycle into nature. The garden is spacious and sunny, with various seating areas (and a trampoline). Opposite the house is a spacious playground for the children. In the room there is a wood-burning stove. The bathroom has a bathtub. There are 2 bedrooms. The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge/freezer, oven and dishwasher.

This chalet is located on the Lauwersoog holiday park on the Dutch coast, about 30 minutes from Groningen. Year-round occupancy is possible. The park is very quiet, right on the water. Boat rental, sailing school, windsurfing, SUB paddling, bike rental is right on site. There is also a bird-watching station right on the Wadden Sea. There are several restaurants and a large playground. Pets are welcome. Additional charge €10/day/dog.
