In the back of our garden, 2 converted gypsy wagons and 2 covered wagons are available as accommodation. They can be booked both separately and together. We have converted the crackling wagons into a B&B. So do not expect a top finish, but all amenities are available. In the morning, we serve an extensive breakfast to our guests with enough to make a lunch package.

B&B 'Borkum'

Welcome to Guesthouse Waddenhoes Our two comfortable B&B rooms, Schier and Borkum, offer a perfect place to stay. Each room has its own private entrance and is fully equipped with all modern comforts. Just a 2-minute walk brings you to the heart of the charming village of Pieterburen — known as the starting point of the Pieterpad and Fietserpad, a stop on the Ziltepad, and home to the seal rescue center, several mudflat hiking tours, cozy restaurants, and the local village pub.

Atmospheric B&B in farm, room Eems

You'll never want to leave this charming, unique monument. At Oldenbosch, there are three beautiful B&B rooms. Two in the front house and one above and accessible through the barn. The rooms are spacious, roomy, tasteful, equipped with their own bathroom and the atmosphere is intimate. Breakfast is served in the room or, if the weather permits, outside on the terrace surrounded by the vast landscape, peace and quiet. Picnic/high tea with Alpacas is among the possibilities!

Amis in a fully, luxuriously equipped house with two bedrooms for four to five people. Large double beds that can be disconnected upon request. Double bathroom. Private garden. Kitchen, oven, microwave. Living room with fireplace. Unobstructed views over the fields. Wi-Fi. Breakfast service. Towels. Made beds. 5*service. As owners, we live next door. We are aware of the best outings and events in the area. We are happy to give tips on where to eat the best, etc.

This is one of the two single rooms available in our B&B: Breakfast: Crackers, rusks, butter & sweet toppings are provided, as well as coffee and tea supplies. Otherwise, you have to provide for yourself. Keep in mind! - Room on the first floor; toilet downstairs. - Sink & towels in the room; shower downstairs (only for longer stays). Travel time to Groningen (by bus): - To Gron UMCG: 40 minutes - To GronZernike: about 60 minutes (By car, about 20 minutes.)

Munnekezijl is located on the border of Groningen - Friesland, where the canal "De Lauwers" forms the border. Near this border is the "Zijlsterkerk", which was used by the reformed community from 1899 to 2021. In 2022, the church was thoroughly renovated and given a new purpose. The building features three modern double bed & breakfast rooms and a beautiful breakfast room. The old elements of the church building can be found in all the rooms.

B&B Pieterburen room 'Schier'

Welcome to guesthouse Waddenhoes, where our two comfort B&B rooms Schiermonnikoog and Borkum are a great place to stay. Both have their own entrance, privat bathroom and are equipped with all conveniences. It's only a 2-minute walk to the centre of the village of Pieterburen. There you'll find the seal sanctuary, the starting point of the Pieterpad and Bicycle path, the mudflat walking organisations, restaurants and the village pub.

Please note the following travel times (by bus) from our B&B to Groningen: - From B&B to UMCG (hospital): 40 minutes By car it takes about 20 minutes to get to Groningen.

Want to enjoy the beauty that Groningen has to offer? "Stee en Stoetje" is a bed and breakfast in the outskirts of Appingedam. A spacious apartment with free entrance. Excellent for hikers or cyclists. Let yourself be surprised!
