Vacation rentals with breakfast in Het Hogeland

We arrive just for a weekend to see the Devin Townsend concert, but was amazing, first we arrived early than expected (11:00 hrs) but she recieved us anyway, the decoration and the ambient was amazing and of course the beautiful cat "Coco", also we had really good connection to public transport, thank you Tineke, sorry if we dont share too much with you but we dont had so much time to know the city, Greetings Antonia & Gabriel

Mia is the best host we have ever experienced! We would give 100 stars if we could. And her beds are magic as it was the best sleep. She really is the most thoughtful and caring host, the accommodation is so charming and we highly recommend Mia.

Alles top! Groningen ist toll! Kitty und Erik waren bei Fragen immer erreichbar und hilfsbereit. Ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt! Vielen lieben Dank!

We hebben een heerlijk weekend gehad bij Annie en Jaring. Zij zijn heel aardig en servicegericht. Fijn huisje en super tuin om lekker bij te komen van onze wandelingen en uitstapjes. Heel lekker en uitgebreid ontbijt gehad. Aanrader en zeer zeker de moeite waard!

Overall a lovely stay in a very well located place. Kitchen was clean and had a large dishwasher which was helpful with children in tow. Full bath was lovely. Caretaker was friendly and a pleasure to work with. A really cool guy who furnished the place with personal, artistic touches. Groningen was so easy to explore on a rental bakfiets. Grocery, restaurants, parks and cultural places minutes from the apartment. Wish we had access to the washer/dryer given we were traveling with children. Bath was not operational due to a leak needing investigation through no fault of the caretakers doing, but would have made bathing children easier. Overall would highly recommend. Edwin was so friendly and oriented us during our check in. Groningen beats the bustle of the Randstad any day!

Roelie ist sehr offen und freundlich. Sie hat uns bei der Ankunft alles erklärt und Tips für die Umgebung gegeben. Alles war super sauber und das Bett wirklich sehr gemütlich. Wir haben beide morgende ein leckeres Frühstück vors Zimmer bekommen, wo wir uns die Uhrzeit frei aussuchen konnten. Die Lage ist auch super, zu Fuß ist man in 20 Minuten in der Stadt. Wenn wir nochmal nach Groningen kommen, würde ich diese Unterkunft wieder wählen.

Petra was a great host. We felt welcome and at home right away. The house itself was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. We enjoyed our stay here 🙂

Everything about my stay was fantastic from the amazing hospitality of Alfred , my beautiful en-suite room; spotless with everything I needed and the fabulous setting. Highly recommended, this was my first time using Air BnB and I was extremely impressed thanks to Alfred!

très bon séjour. Hôte super disponible et aimable, tjs prêt à aider. lit super confortable. Gde sdb avec produits à disposition. excellent petit-déj. et très varié. Je recommande. Juste, le no de la maison devrait être plus visible car nous sommes arrivés de nuit.

What a great place, to stay at. I would recommend it to anybody visiting the area. Also the home is very pleasant to stay, very clean, lovely views from th living room, over the pond and the fields. Very quiet location for sleeping. The breakfast is very complete with fresly baked breads and croissants. And Cathie was so kind to let us pet her horses and goats. Thank you for a very nice stay, Cathie!

Janneke is aardig, behulpzaam en belangstellend! Precies gepast! Alles is piekfijn in orde, schoon, netjes en een geweldig bed! In overleg heb ik in de nacht gedoucht, wat voor Janneke ook geen probleem was (ik had dichtbij een feest, met verkleden en groen haar, vandaar de wens om te douchen). Janneke is super begripvol en daardoor voelde ik me enorm thuis. Janneke is een super host! :)

Wat een prachtige B&B! Rustig en sfeervol en vanaf het terras en de hottub een prachtig uitzicht over het weiland. We hebben genoten! Jitske en haar man waren vriendelijk en behulpzaam en het ontbijt was ook 5 ***** waard! Graag tot een volgende keer!

Erg leuke B&B in een rustige omgeving zeker in de zomer moet het hoer prachtig zijn.

What a great place to stay for a few days in this region! Ina's place was very comfortable and had plenty of room along with your own private waterfront seating area. The kitchen was stocked full of goodies for your stay and the bathroom shower (and spa bath) was very luxurious. Ina was a great host and provided the GPS coordinates to reach her property, as it is not shown accurately on the driving maps. Definitely worth a four or five night stay.

De ontvangst is heel hartelijk. Je verblijft in een heel nette mooi ingerichte kamer, met een goed bed. Er is een ligbad, en prachtige douche alles in smetteloze staat. Van het ontbijt heb ik niet kunnen genieten. Dit diende op voorhand tegen meerprijs bevestigd te worden, hetgeen ik over het hoofd gezien had.

Remco is vriendelijk, en gaf per Whatsapp extra tips. Via de navigatie kwamen we echter aan de verkeerde kant uit en dan kom je niet op de juiste parkeerplek (je moet via een eenrichtingweg er komen), maar verder was de service, het dorpje met supermarkt en restauranten dichtbij prima!

Dit was de perfecte afsluiter van mijn vakantie ❤️ Ondanks dat er niemand anders was kreeg ik in mijn up, een heerlijk uitgebreid ontbijt voorgeschoteld, met liefde gemaakt! Bedden slapen geweldig, en het was heerlijk schoon 😀 Super leuk ontvangen door Gonnie en Richard. Het perfecte adres voor als ik weer eens de laatste boot naar huis mis! We gaan elkaar zeker nog eens zien 😀 Bedankt!!

Siska was a great host from the beginning, she was very friendly and welcoming! The room is light and spacious and had everything I needed. The house is not too far from the city center and is easy to reach. Even more so if you rent a bicycle - which I recommend, because Groningen is a great city to discover by bike. :) Oh, and Siska's breakfast is delicious, you don't want to miss it. Very nice hosts, gave us some good tips and provided a very solid breakfast. Also some cute sheep and cats in their yard.

I had an amazing stay at this beautiful room! It was even more stunning and well-organized than the photos. The interior design was tasteful and elegant, with so much attention to detail throughout the house and room — it truly felt special. Located in the heart of nature, it offered the perfect mix of comfort and peace. The apartment was fully equipped — a complete kitchen with tea, coffee, utensils, and thoughtful touches that made it feel like home. There was an optional paid service for meal preparation and snacks, plus a generous complimentary breakfast. One of my favorite parts was the outdoor seating in the backyard garden — a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The host was incredibly kind and accommodating. Knowing I had to leave early due to travel plans, they kindly woke up at 5 AM to prepare breakfast for me and pack it to-go. That level of care truly stood out. Highly recommended — I’d absolutely love to return!

Super vriendelijk en een rustige ruime plek om te overnachten/ zelfs te werken. Prachtig aan het water en omringd door schilderijen

Een heel fijne verblijf, zelfs voor een korte overnachting. Dat ik 's avonds wat later aankwam, was geen probleem. De kamer was comfortabel en voorzien van handdoeken en een wasbak. Het ontbijt was uitstekend en zeker waar voor je geld. Een aanrader als je in het noorden van Nederland verblijft.
