Small Paradise above the Walensee

Guests have a separate apartment with their own kitchen, bath and living room but they share the same entrance to the house with the owner. All the surroundings of the house can be used by the guests. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, electric stove, cooking utilities (inclusive herbs, vinegar and oil) cutlery and tableware. Food needs to be brought by the guests. The nearest store is a 30min drive away. A Fondue-Set is available upon request. There is also a Nespresso machine inclusive capsuls and an open fire place right next to the house. The main bedroom includes a double bed (1.40m) and there is another separate room with a single bed, inclusive bedding. The bathroom comes with towels, shampoo, shower gel and a hair dryer.

It is the ideal starting point for various hiking routes. Parking spaces are available for 4 vehicles. By arrangement, more can also be provided. Your exclusive getaway with 360-degree views of Säntis/Lake Constance and yet so close to attractions such as St.Gallen/Appenzell. This 200-year-old Appenzell house towers high above Herisau AR and is lovingly called "GöttiFritz" by its owners. It shines authentically in a fantastic mountain and hill scenery – a true retreat for the soul.

Experience and inhabit paradise

Charming pavilion with double bed (box spring bed) and bathroom. To heat the cottage, light the heating fireplace. Cozy warmth is guaranteed! In summer, there is also a dormitory available in the barn, for example for families. A kitchen is available about 20 meters from the cottage. On request, we can provide breakfast for an extra charge of CHF 13 per person, which must be paid in advance, as we have unfortunately had bad experiences.

After a short but somewhat steep walk to the bungalow, you can enjoy the view of the Alpstein with our local mountain, the Säntis, on a cozy terrace. There are many walking and hiking opportunities directly from the house. Please note: From the parking lot, it is about 100 m on foot relatively steep up the hill to the beautifully located bungalow on the edge of the forest.

Within 10 km there are various leisure facilities (mini golf, swimming pools, hiking, skiing, biking).
