The property, which was built in 2020, has a separate shower and toilet downstairs and upstairs a living room/bedroom. There is no cooking facilities or outdoor space.

The house is a 10 minute walk from the city centre of Alkmaar and 7 minutes to the train station. The train can take you directly to Amsterdam in 35 minutes. A return train ticket costs roughly €20 Alkmaar is an old Dutch city just like Amsterdam but smaller. Enjoy the canals great food and cozy atmosphere

Nice cottage with private access and a terrace with furniture. Completely equipped kitchen with oven. Wood-burning stove, corner sofa, and smart TV. Fixed loft ladder to the top (loft). The ceiling height upstairs is 1.30 m (4 ft 3 in)! Double bed 1.80x2.20cm. Rain shower/toilet. Not suitable for children. No pets. Smoking is not allowed.

The distance to the beach and dunes is 20 minutes by bike, and you can reach the city center of Alkmaar in 15 minutes by bike. Shops, (nice boutiques) restaurants and the station are a 5-minute walk away, making Amsterdam also easy to reach, 30 minutes by train. Everything within reach and yet experiencing the feeling of tranquility is absolutely applicable to this place.

Unique Dutch Miller’s House

Stay in a traditional Dutch Miller’s Cabin beside an authentic 1632 windmill, surrounded by canals and nature in the North Holland countryside. Hand built during the windmill’s restoration, the cabin offers a peaceful and unique stay while still being close to Alkmaar and only 40 minutes from Amsterdam by train. I am a traditional Dutch miller born and raised in Alkmaar, and my American wife, Kelly, and I enjoy sharing this special place with guests from around the world.

Experience the outdoor feeling on the farm and come and stay in 't Paardenhuysje! This cozy accommodation is located in the stables, overlooking the animals. Equipped with a modern bathroom, a wonderfully large double bed, a dining/sitting area and a kitchenette. It is possible to book an extensive breakfast for €10 euros per person per day. We will bring this by in the morning. It is also possible to bring your own horses! Beach & Alkmaar are close! Rate €20 per night.

The holiday house is located on the North Holland Canal. The house is not very quiet, but cozy and centrally located to Alkmaar, Bergen and Schoorl. Very suitable for girlfriend clubs, bicycle clubs and families, who do not want to be in a holiday park. The house has many original details, which makes it atmospheric and characteristic. The house is connected to the owner's home, but there is plenty of privacy and a spacious private garden.

Welcome to the Atelier, a unique place to stay in Bergen and the former painting studio of Dutch artist Gerrit van Blaaderen. Tucked away in greenery and surrounded by woodland, it offers peace and privacy, while the beach, dunes and charming centre of Bergen are all within walking distance. The Atelier is full of character, with tall windows at the front and a beautiful thatched roof.

B&B De Buizerd

De Buizerd: a super cozy, spacious B&B in the rear of a West Frisian farmhouse with a view of the meadows, located close to the beach and the dunes of Bergen and Schoorl. This spacious and cozily furnished house sleeps four people. For example, a family with two children and grandparents, or a group of friends looking for a nice location for their annual catch-up weekend.
