Lovely property, very tastefully decorated. Beautiful location, grounds do need a little TLC, but didn’t impact our stay. I would definitely book again.

Henry has an awesome place. We had wonderful time enjoying the surroundings. The place matches description and is even better than that. Henry is an excellent host - prompt, responsive and non-intrusive. Thanks for giving us a great experience!

Enjoy my house. Have fun.

House was perfectly situated for where we were working, Michael was always very responsive and helpful. House was immaculate, easy to find and very homely, which is just what our boys needed after their long working days. We are so happy with the house, we have booked it for a second week in a row and would not hesitate to book again when we are next working in the area.

Arts and crafts cottage

KarlRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Really lovely cottage, in a lovely part of the world. We managed to make the most of the facilities in our four days. The grounds and setting are really lovely and give the impression of being really remote, although in reality you are 5 mins from the local town by car. This was a very spacious, comfortable and well equipped place to stay and acted as a really good base for exploring the county. Abbotsford, Peebles and Traquair House were all highlights for us and were handy by road. Recommend The Crown in Biggar for dinner and drinks, and then home to a roaring fire in the log burner. Reasonable access to nearby charge spots if you are EV users like us. Excellent hosts with an excellent property!

Livingston business and commuter apartment

Great flat to stay for few days. As it was also on the ground floor, it meant that it was accessible to everyone and specially for my elderly parents who the booking was for. Place was clean and well looked after. John was a pleasure to deal with and was very responsive when I needed to get in touch. Would highly recommend and it will be my go to if I need to rent somewhere again.

Country Setting by Heriot Watt University

Charming!! We would LOVE to live in this picturesque house in this farmland area! It’s what you dream that Scotland is when you come from America. Absolutely loved this country, cottage home and peaceful surroundings and the host! Would definitely go back. The home offers guests a private area that’s homey and very comfortable. There are no stairs so very easy for those with mobility concerns. We stayed the night before airport departure - it’s Easy access to airport without busy highways. Was not too far from Edinburgh Castle and busy Royal Mile. This was the perfect contrast of total peace after walking the hubbub of the Mile at the castle! 😊 The bed was comfortable and clean. Good blankets. Clean large tile bathroom with shower. Separate sitting/living room with comfy couches. We took a stroll outside after settling in. The 2 most friendly, welcoming, smaller dogs greeted us as well. We were able to store some food in the refrigerator. We have nothing negative to report.
