Cozy hotel rental at the Acadia Hotel-Downtown. Built in 1884 as a private home, located in the village Center. Private room with full bathroom, QUEEN size bed, cable tv, mini fridge, & wifi. Quite, clean, and the best price in town. These rooms tend to be on the smaller size, and do have SMALL bathrooms. If you are looking for a larger space, look for our Suite Airbnb listing, or book direct though the hotel.

This is a wonderful place to explore the southern part of MDI. Close to Jordan Pond, 20 mins to Bar Harbor. Northeast harbor is a beautiful little town with good eating and shopping options. The staff was super friendly and responsive. Will definitely stay here again!

Quite Room in an 1888 Inn

Megan’s property is so charming and wonderfully maintained. This place definitely attracts travelers who love meeting new people, and the breakfast set up made it easy for me to meet new people while traveling solo. Would love to stay again and see what the other rooms looked like!

Cozy Third Floor Getaway near Acadia

Total R&R following each day of biking, hiking, and exploring Acadia and the area. We loved every aspect of our stay - comfort, space, blueberry muffins & coffee, access to the Acadia NP, and the lovely village. Thank you! I wish we could extend our Maine days with you!

Great place to stay especially if you are not keen on the overcrowding in Bar Harbor. Beautifully kept Inn that is comfortable and quaint without being old fashioned.

Private King Suite in 1888 Inn

Absolutely Charming Inn ! If you’re looking for a quiet, boutique style inn, this is it. The grounds were so pretty and a bit secluded. The Inn itself was clean and adorably decorated. I loved the four poster bed and it was also very comfortable. The working wood fireplace in the room gave it a super cozy feel (even though is was much too warm outside to use it.) And that sunroom !! That was my favorite part of my stay. I only wish we were there a bit longer so I could have enjoyed it more ! A little gem, for sure ! 💎 Thank you Megan and family for having us ! I

Definitely the best place to stay on the island we have found yet walking distance to pretty much everything you need and great food! Super close Acadia!

Beautiful comfortable place to stay. Roomy bathroom with bath. Small kitchen with basic utensils which we used for a simple dinner one evening instead of eating out. We were tempted to make use of the fireplace because it was lovely but too tired after hiking all day!
