The Coachhouse is cosy and quiet. It has its own entrance and is completely separate from the main house. There is a private gated courtyard that guests are also welcome to use. Only 5 minutes from East Kilbride and 20 minutes from Glasgow but surrounded by fields and countryside Full use of the Coachhouse and the courtyard next to it Feel free to contact me with any queries by phone, text, e mail The property is only a couple of minutes from the village of Carmunnock, a pretty conservation village and the only official village left in Glasgow. There is a local shop, pharmacy, and an excellent restaurant in the town. There is parking next to the Coachhouse. Getting around by car is ideal but we are also only minutes from two train stations and there are regular buses in the village minutes up the road. We have two dogs but they are friendly and kept in the main house or our back garden.

Lynne was the perfect host and went out of her way to help me navigate my travel and logistics. Her house and garden are lovely, bed was super-comfortable, and everything I needed was provided. Lynne and Nicholas were generous in my use of their kitchen and were quite personable and friendly. Highly recommend!

Very good, quit (except Roscow on our arrival, but he was a nice entertaining-dog. Everything is good organised and next time in Scotland we will visit Amy and Gary again! Thanks again for all, Hans and John.

The West End location is excellent. Green and peaceful but also vibrant with a diversity of shops and eateries and a good cinema. Bob and Chie are a delightful couple and their lovely home is as clean and aesthetically pleasurable and calm as one could wish. Careful choices made in bed linen and toiletries, thoughtful in the all important details. I was not a good guest as I managed to leave a case behind and, even worse go off with a set of keys! I was mortified. I returned the following morning to make good and Chie was gracious as ever, which I didn’t deserve. Altogether a lovely place to stay. A charming family and home. I can’t recommend these hosts highly enough. Sarah Collier
